Recently getting into Maplestory. Your videos are easy to follow, well spoken, and very much appreciated. Considering the recent GMS news I am expecting a surge of new subscribers and will be recommending these videos actively.
Love the videos since I have been looking for up to date content. I hadn’t played since pre BB lol fit my first 250 with the burning event and ur other vids have helped a ton. One thing tho is I’m not sure what quests should be done or recommend todo besides boss unlocking ones and/or how to setup legion/links or which to focus on first that’s where I’m struggling atm lol not sure what to be focusing on after 250
In the longer run of things, exp/grinding links (evan for longer rune exp duration, mercedes for flat exp, aran for extra combo orb exp, lara for extra normal monster damage, etc) helps out a ton. As for quests the only non-boss prequest ones worth doing are the ones around your starting area that get you to lv 30, and all the theme dungeons at lv 30 too. Honestly not many quests in maple are worth it for exp anymore, the only other ones you get that are super worth it for exp are like colossus kerning tower and omega sector, and the scrapyard one that unlocks the dailies and also gives a full level 199->200 (Haven - A New Home). If you're at 250 already I'd try working on filling out the legion grid with main character's stats as extra blocks, and also a second legion for normal monster damage and bonus exp
One question that always comes to my mind, when I am grinding if I have 3000 combo but the burning field goes down from 100% to 70% for example, should I change channel and look for other burning field 100%? or should I keep in the same field with the 3000 combo?
Since the combo caps at gold orbs, I'd personally swap channels for a higher burning, if it's a zone I know a lot of people don't train in, like the less popular Sellas maps. If it's less likely you'll find a higher burning stage, just sticking with your current map would probably be your best bet
I came back to this video to state that a LOW chance, you can get prepared 7 day pendants from monster park sunday boxes, cause it legit just happened to me
They're the ones found in the towns you get Arcane Symbols from, via talking to certain NPCs in said towns to do them! Vanishing Journey has Erda Spectrum, Chu Chu Island (one map to the middle/top right of chuchu) has Hungry Muto, Lachelein Midnight Chaser, Arcana Spirit Savior, Morass Ranheim Defense, and Esfera has Esfera Guardian. 45 symbols a week from each, 15 per clear!

Combo is almost worthless, so just find a better burning field if they're available.

KMS got the change sometime around July, so for us I'd guess whenever we get New Age, or sometime before the end of this year/early next year?
