Barrera beat down of Hamed is one of my top 5 favourite fights.
That Trinidad v Vargas bout could not have disappointed any boxing fan. It was entertaining from beginning to end.

Never get tired of watching Barerra vs hamed. So much fun watching hamed get his @$$ kicked.
Seems every loved Barrera’s victory yet not because of Barrera, but because his opponent was a dirty clown.
I disliked prince Naseem so much. And when Barrera beat him I became and instant fan. Great fight and he put the princess in his place.

Great video. But what happened to Naseem Hamed after his loss? Why he didn´t continue his career, I mean it´s not that he was knocked out badly...
He wrongly thought he was a great boxer, he had no heart and therefore gave up after getting beaten.
He had hand issues and was 35lbs overweight a week before the barrera fight.
His heart wasnt in boxing for a while before, once he left the ingle gym.
He had one more fight after barerra and retired
He bloated up like a balloon eating fast food and drinking.
He wasn't a true warrior because he couldn't deal with a loss just like Ronda Rousey.

Prince Naseem Hammed's luck ran out. His punching style that used to give him victories were no longer effective in this fight. Barrera successfully warded off all his opponent's shots thereby winning the fight. It's time for the Prince to lose and for Barrera to win.

Boxing and Wrestling are my favorite sports, I've done both since I was a small child, my grandfather ran a boxing and wrestling school in 1910 in Brainerd Minnesota he learned from his father's. Just like me.
sports are not martial arts! For decades I have taught martial arts for a living. Martial arts were not meant to be Sports! as soon as you apply rules to ensure the safety of the competitors involved, it becomes a sport.

and were not designed to be competitive against others, martial arts are done to promote competition between you and yourself so no rules are required. When you are training with someone in martial ar
ts you're not training against them.
I like to keep them separate, because the Sports, and the Arts, are both equally important.
