Reason why he got 10k on the outside is bc when you talking dental gold, and you’re wanting the gold white then you HAVE to get 10k high noble bc you want the LEAST amount of gold and the maximum amount of white metals(high noble) in order to give it the whitest brightest look, and hell wit that being the case then it’s a win-win deal bc not only are you getting the brightest,you’re also getting the hardest type. The higher the karat in white gold the worse it will look. The lowest karat ends up being the playmaker. BASICALLY..10k white is the best way,just as 22k is to yellow gold. So depending on ur swagg get 10k for white perms & get 22k for yellow perms. Trust me

14k and below will tarnish over time and is slightly paler than purer gold but you can polish it to make it sparkle again
Depends on where you go. Most dentist will do 16kt for durability and still deep yellow. Some others won't go below 18kt. 22kt is standard.
