they put a hook under and hammer them out..then put porcelain veneers on the original tooth wich are shaved down previously
ChimeU95 your tooth is shaved dow and coated with a apoxy style tooth glue and they place the golds on the stub of tooth thats left. it can be taken out and replaced as needed. same as someone who fixes their chipped tooth and replace it with a false permenant tooth thats white or off white ro march their real tooth color. if for whatever reason you need to redo it the dentist can still pop it out. or they can put a screw type deal in the gums so the gold tooth can slide into place
