CZsWorld the nightmare on elm street movie at the theatre is the 5th one which came out in 1989
CZsWorld when they said kill them all look at the girl at the top right
the reason that they included nightmare on elmstreet is it is a character that feeds off fear and preys off of children
Margery May
Despicable Me 3 (PASTE) Full [Movie]
I know I wasn't a very smart 5 year old back then but if I saw a clown come out of a sewer I would run away as fast as I can. Forget the boat, Bill can make me a new one 😂
SkyyBluerose If Bill doesn't kill you for losing the first one... (*cough cough* reference to the movie *cough cough*)
Valoriethe Pug seriously
The book explains the scene much better. it messes with your mind a bit when she is trying to kill you, which isn't really utilized in the movie. She makes it hard for you to resist.
SkyyBluerose I
I was a reasonably smart kid, but if some random person was talking to me and being nice while standing in a sewer, I genuinely don't know if I would've been afraid of them or concerned for them or a little of both lol
i watched this movie with my dad and when IT peeled back his face with all the teeth...my dad lent over and whispered "i'd hate to be his dentist"
dads 2017-

Oh I noticed you said 27 things, and it comes every 27 years
Lol
Yeah
@Minecraft GreenWitchCraft you're
Oh shit-
Minecraft GreenWitchCraft you’re*
Did you notice the children's show that tells Henry Bowers to "Kill them all" is on the TV Eddie's mom is watching after they raid her pantry for snacks? In the theater I could clearly hear the dialog. The woman in the middle was encouraging the kids to go and play in the sewers. No one else seems to be talking about it and it's driving me nuts! For anyone who has clear sound it's about 23 minutes in.
So I made a video about it. czcams.com/video/pNTca2fZUKs/video.html
Yeah I noticed, me and my girlfriend found it pretty funny. I think it pops up several times and is testament to the fact that Pennywise has a grip on the whole town (Hence why the adults are all weird AF and completely ignorant to what is happening)
I noticed that. This movie focuses on every little detail. It’s amazing
I knowwww I'm not alooneeee *beatdrop*
And Beverley's dad is listening to the same show when she comes home from the store
I got teary eyed when George was in the well at the end and was like "what took you so long"?
i started to actually sob in the movie theater and my friends were laughing at me the whole time
49Jacksonlrd it wouldnt make any sense. He was dead as fuck, It would have been dumb.
49Jacksonlrd
He would have bleed out fast.
I mean, his whole arm was gone!
Ness You can survive amputation.
Elder Maxson I didn't read the books, but IT is a weird ass magical entity. I feel like he could've kept Georgie alive somehow.
One thing I thought was really horrific was how Beverley's dad confronts her about the poem that Ben wrote saying "Then why was this in your underwear drawer?" which suggests he actively goes into her lingerie when she isn't there.
All parents do that. To a parent, a child's privacy is nonexistent and all secrets held by the child - either real or imagined by the parent - can, will, and must be found out. Better hope whatever you have hidden in your room is well hidden or someone will find it.
Toby THATS WHAT I THOUGHT
+Hans Ollo my parents didnt do that at all they just asked things they wanted to know, and why would a father look into his daughters underwear drawer he's most likely a perv.
Her whole sideplot is her dad is sexually and (hinted at) physically abusive
Hans Ollo wtf not all parents do that
Am I the only one who got chills during the library scene because of the old woman behind Ben who keeps staring at him bending slightly closer and closer ? xD
I never understood that! but I seen it too!!!
I thought she was pennywise for a second
The director said " The old lady in the back when Ben was about too see pennywise. So we put pennywise in her"
I thought so too. She even was smiling so I naturally thought it as a way to get an audience to think in that scene.
I agree, that was a creepy moment and they should have relied more on small details like that rather than the ineffective jumpscares
Fun fact, when Mike's father Will Hanlin survives the fire at the black spot, hs is saved by a guy named Dick Halloran, the cook from the shining.
dru w And Dick Halloran could shine I wonder why he didn't know the attack was going to happen before it actually did
vulpixelful Maybe he did. Maybe he knew what Mike would achieve in the future.
dru w CORRECT
just read that part in the book, and I noticed that too
UR AMAZING
I'M LAYERED SORRY
" These are GAZEBOES" - Eddie kaspbrak
I'm gonna smoke a blunt when this movie comes out on DVD
One of the funniest moments in the movie.
Almost as funny as him dancing
I DIED WHEN HE SAID THAT💀💀💀😭😭😂😂😂😂
LOL that part was so funny/cute!!
The definition of squad goals was when Richie grabbed that bat and the rest of the losers club didn't leave bill after he told them to and started fucking it up 😂😂😂 #Gangshit
Musa Mansa "And now, I'm going to fucking kill this clown !" ~Richie aka Finn Wolfhard~ loved the scene😫👌🎈
Valoriethe Pug shit was so epic. Those are real friends.
Valoriethe Pug welcome to the losers club
That monologue was my favorite scene
"You punched me, you beat me up, and I told you I didn't want to die, I told you, I told you, so now...I guess I'm gonna have to kill this fucking clown now too"
Pennywise appears multiple times in places other than in 'person'.
He appears in the mural on Mike's grandfathers shop about the Bradley Gang Massacre peering just below the wheel of the car looking at the dead body and the cops - more than likely out of a manhole. See i.redd.it/iwfulasjxsny.jpg
Also when Eddie's mom chases after him, you can see Pennywise's reflection in place of hers...showing the 'influence' he is having on the adults.
Pennywise also appears in the woodcutting of the Derry original founders on the far left side and his boxcar that you see in his lair is in the background of the circus picture in Ben's history of Derry.
Also the woodcut of the well seems to show a woman offering a baby to the well itself....perhaps as a sacrifice?
I am sure there are more and attribute it to IT is Derry and Derry is IT. So Pennywise is all over the place but you have to look closely to see it.
Also just for added creep factor...people have noticed Pennywise having a sorta bug eyed thing going with his eyes up close. If you take a picture of his face anytime this happens and cover the left eye as he faces outward, he is staring at a kid or something else.....but if you cover the right eye, you will find him staring...at you. An example: imgur.com/a/puopP
Great comment
He even appears as Tim Curry's Pennywise in doll form in the room full of clown dolls where Richie gets trapped in
Wow! Great pickup, thank you.
The Woodcut of the woman offering the baby is a sacrifice. In the script, the director wanted to include a scene with Pennywise making a deal with a lady to give up her baby or else he would kill everyone. The "everyone" in question isn't expressed too much in the script, but it is relevant to the story in which that the sacrifice led way to the beginning of murders during that time. The lady gave her baby and the killings started. I'm not too doubtful about a deal of this sort, especially seeing as in the last scene Pennywise tried making a deal with the Losers gang and told them that he would let them live so long as he could take Bill.
Heath Doolin That last one is because Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise 2017) can relax the muscles in his left eye to make him look scarier
it doesn't smell like caca to me señor
samplexample shut up its goood
thats right it doesnt smell caca to me señor
It's probably just your breath wafting back into your face.
Michael Myers get em Mikey!
Lol😂😂😂😂
I think the creepiest thing in the movie for me, was something not a lot of people probably noticed, when Ben is looking at the book in the background the Liberian is just standing there with an evil smirk and she gets closer then you see her nonchalantly sitting at the table reading a book of her own. It's creeped me out.
Brittany Ruggiero i saw that too and started focusing on that instead of the movie
nobody I'm so happy someone else noticed it. I have a tendency to see little things in movies.
Brittany Ruggiero I saw that too it was creepy as fuck
Brittany Ruggiero I think most of people saw that too, special snowflake :p
Diego Mahoudeau Ok, that snowflake comment was completely uncalled for. I was just giving my thoughts on it. Jesus fuck man.
You missed one. When Goergie first saw Pennywise, his eyes were Yellow. But when he walked into the light, they turned Blue. And then when Goergie went to get the boat, his eyes turned back to Yellow. Book quote "He saw yellow eyes in there" Second book quote (i think these are exact words but im not sure) "How could he have thought his eyes were yellow. They were a bright dancing blue. Like his mothers and Bills." Just wanted to let you know.
The Deadlights.
Darth Cross 31 i
Darth Cross 31 everyone noticed that
Man, I never stopped to think before now just how hard Pennywise worked and how many things he put into play just to earn Georgie's trust. I don't know if it's ever illustrated, but I wonder if he knew all along about the loser's club and what he needed to do straight from the start to set up the groundwork to begin weakening them even back before it all began. Like weakening Bill by killing Georgie for example.
Man, my mind's still buzzing thinking about Beverly. Wondering if somehow Pennywise had affected her father in the past before the events of the book making him "sick" and abusive to her.
Georgie: My hand! My hand!
Me: Your whole freaking arm is gone man...
It was A Nightmare On Elm Street 5 in the cinemas. That one came out in 89. To be more specific, August 11th
Yup! :D
hmmmmm
Yes your right
Rapperjosh13 what do you mean by that I don’t understand what you mean
Did anyone else feel uncomfortable during the scene where Mike Hanlon is being attacked by the Bowers Gang by the creek, and Mike sees Pennywise lurking in the weeds with Georgie's severed hand waving?!
Samuel Schrader lmfao i hated how the bullies look 18 or 19 and bully 13 year olds do that shit in NY it won't work out
Samuel Schrader That was Georgie's arm? ;-;
Sosa2k Gawdd I believe on the missing poster of that flamethrower kid it says he's fifteen
Delmxr I saw that too but do they look 15?
Sosa2k Gawdd No, but those kids also don't look 13
It wasn't Nightmare on Elm Street that was playing, it was Nightmare on Elm Street 5 which was released in 1989. In that movie, the main characters work together to defeat Freddy in their dreams. Just a little easter egg that Muschietti threw in!
1nicky14 I think 5 was The Dream Child....the plot you're refferring to sounds like Part 3 which was called Dream Warriors
I was going to say the same thing. Even though it was the 5th one in the poster, I still thought there was an interesting parallel between IT 2017 and the original in that Nancy defeats Freddy by proving she is not afraid and draining him of his power. CZ's idea of Freddy showing up as Richie's biggest fear would have been REALLY cool. I was terrified of Freddy as a kid and I was only a bit younger than the characters in this movie in 1989. This was a New Line movie, right? So they could have pulled that off. It would have been the equivalent of the werewolf and Frankenstein's monster in the book. Those were the horror icons of the 50s. Freddy, Jason, and Michael Myers were the icons of the 1980s. Missed opportunity! Still, great movie.
1nicky14 nightmare on elm street 5 is dream child were dan and Alice have a kid dan dies from miter cycle acid entry in his dream he like morths with the bike
Yes he's referring to the part 3 which is the dream warriors hehe
To add something: The bully that wears the metal shirts wore an Anthrax shirt at the start of the movie. This is not even a real album. The album was called Among The Living, and the shirt he wore read Among The Living Dead. They also changed the artwork to include a zombie. Just pointing out something you missed.
I could've sworn the Cinema's sign said "Nightmare on Elm Street 5" which I suppose makes more sense.
It did
Also in Beverly's room there was the book "The Frog Prince" which foreshadows Ben kissing her to bring her back
It would have made more sense if it were Sleeping Beauty.
Alexandre Vidor I caught that as well
And CZ The NightMare on Elm Street Movie That Was Playing Was Part 5 Which I Think Came out in 89
Good thinking, that must have been what it was.
CZsWorld yea it was part 5 and there was a dream child poster in the marquee
was just about to comment this hahah
lmfao same
K
i imagine the author watching this and saying i never even noticed this i just put it,i didn't take it as a big deal 😂😂😂
I SAID U R he was on cocaine during writing the book so I wouldn’t be surprised
I’m late but I looked up what keys symbolize and Google said: “Keys have been used to symbolize man's ability to gain access to those things of either a material or spiritual nature which are of the greatest significance to him. The key is an object symbolic of opening and closing powers, such as the power to open the door between this world and the next.”
And the Anchor, Google said: “The anchor was a popular symbol because it was not only part of the ship, but because, just like Christians, sailors liked the connection this symbol had to stability and strength. Putting down an anchor also represented the safe end of a long journey.”
The one thing I didn't miss was that clowns forehead.
Brianna Amezcua and the rabbit teeth
Brianna Amezcua and the eyes
Nigga had the Lebron james forehead If I saw it I would get coconut butter and smack it on his forehead
Exclusive Jay no you wouldn't you'd fucking die cause your weak you almost died eating Ramen noodles
Brianna Amezcua Mr t lexify
At 3:17 that old lady standing and smiling while looking at Ben during the movie was so damn creepy. I just had goosebumps watching that scene. something about her being out of focus but you could see her huge smile.
SerialAssassin wrong time
Lord Tachanka it's at 3:16 and 3:17
SerialAssassin omg I saw that in the theatre and I thought there would be a jump scare bc of that
ME TOO! When I watched the film I was focusing on her the whole time! So creepy!!
SerialAssassin I am so glad im not the only one who noticed that it was such a creepy part I thought I might have just been seeing things since she was out of focus but I guess not
My favorite thing is bill said ' you arent real
And then pennywise replys 'it was real enough for Georgie
There was a small bit of foreshadowing with the scene at 6:15, the drawing portrays Beverly, blood drips on her face. The same thing happens later in the movie with Beverly waking up in the sewers, she lays the exact way the drawing portrays her, with blood dripping onto her cheek. That was just something I noticed when watching the movie.
What if haters dab back? hOLY SHIT I JUST REALIZED THIS THANK YOU
Why was it always blood though? Was it referring to her buying tampons?
Because her fear tied in with her impending womanhood they laid the ground work down for that with her embarrassment at buying the tampons in the drug store scene.
I liked how the bullies were so much more violent in this movie compared to the original
Justin O'Regan well that is limited to it being a tv mini-series and they could only get away with so much on tv. They are just as violent and despicable as their book counterparts for the most part.
Justin O'Regan when he was bout to kill the cat I was gonna scream
Shane Brahms dude seriously?!! you say you have nothing against gay people but then insult him by saying he sounds gay and that because of that it ruins the video....that is very rude and definitely sounds like you have something against gay people. what's more you might have some internal issues to work out with your sexuality if the only thing you took from this video is that he sounds gay.
wow you are extremely stupid
Shane Brahms idiot
3:17
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but that old woman in the background creeped me the fuck out. She was staring at the camera like that the entire scene, but when the kid got up later, she was back by the bookshelves reading a book. I guess it was just a little creepy bonus the directors added in!
I saw it when i saw the movie
Does anyone notice in the basement scene when Pennywise is running up from the water and trips on the staircase and cracks his neck on the edge? Cause my friend and I started laughing in the movie theater because of that
Can't You Guys Agree That Bill Skarsgård did a great job as pennywise. I feel that he played pennywise like how heath ledger played the joker. Amazing Performance. In my opinion way Better Than Tim Curry Even Though He's The Awesome OG
FlashNicoG yes I agree the original will always be special but ... reality it was a 9/10 the zombies killed it for me ... would be a 10 but yeahhh ...... ZOMBIES
FlashNicoG zro can spamming
FlashNicoG Ok, that's snowflake comment was completely uncalled for. I was just telling my take on it. Jesus fuck man.
FlashNicoG Meh. I think Skarsgård did a great job, but they didnt really didn't give him much dialogue to work with. He crushed it with the s.s georgie scene because that's where he had the most conversational interaction with any kid in the film- which depended heavily on his acting. The rest of the movie he only seemed to have a few quick lines while the the CG transformations of IT did most of the work for his character. I wish they had given Skarsgård more chances to actually speak. It would have flushed out his character a lot more. Tim Currys performance was so good because every scene with him depended on his lines and his delivery of them.
This PennyWise was actually scary. Actually playing on fears that the children have. Where as the original movie PennyWise was more of a dick than a scary character. I also love how he was just a creepy, kinda Pervy, and sloppering creep. The whole movie itself was so much darker and creepier. I love how this movie turned out. Probably my favorite 2017 horror movie.
I believe the Key represents as a metaphor, where Beverly is so guarded emotionally and physically! Almost like a penance, I'll hold the key to my heart. Probably wrong, but oh well.
Samuel Schrader or maybe she has the key to success
Maybe but "Latch-Key Kids" were a thing in the late 80s and early 90s. Nowadays kids have house keys (and cell phones) but back then in small town New England the only kids with keys to their house were those who came from working class to poorer families. Their parents worked and would not be home to let the kid in. Often you'd have a 7-8 year old kid with no babysitter (which is unthinkable today). These kids wore the key around their neck and let themselves in and out of the house. Some kids had pride in it, and some were very ashamed. Okay, ye olde yankee history lesson is now over.
Kyle David Lindholm I was a latchkey kid at 5 in 1970.
But as stated in the video, the key is uncut. It couldn't have actually fit a lock or been functional at all.
At one point, Henry rides by with his gang and throws a cigarette at him. Then telling him something along the lines of "Get out of my town". Possible racism connection
At one point when attempting to kill him he outright says he was disappointed he didn't get to burn down the black place.
Me thinks the racism shoulda been pretty obvious.
@@zonda2220 no he loved black people
Does any one else notice that the cartoon in the movie when Barverly sneaks in her house says some very weard stuff like "clown"and "kill" ?just saying
Bighappy 835 yeah, IT is an entity that controls the whole town. That's why the town is so fucked up. He even controls the television s, throughout the movie if you pay attention to the televisions they'll constantly make references to the movie or sometimes book.
Bighappy 835 ye, stuff like "the sewers are a great place to play children"
The tv show mostly says
"if you go in the sewers, well, you'll be happy as a clown!"
"you'll float!"
Bighappy 835 its the same show that drove the bully insane.
Anyone else find it weird that it is 2017 and the original is in 1990. 2017 is 27 years later. Also the film came out 9/8/2017 which adds up to 27. 9+8+2+0+1+7 is 27
Lil Spoon Damn, good catch.
also, the kid who played Bill in the 1990 mini series committed suicide at the age of 27
Lmfao sketch af
We Came We Saw We Gamed
Or did he...
Lil Spoon does that mean chapter two will come out in 27 years ?? I'm joking
You know what these are?? THEYRE GAZEBOS!
Best line in the whole movie
SanFran420 I strongly disagree, I loved the part when Pennywise said "beep beep Richie"
SanFran420 THE BEST PART 😂😂

Did no one notice that at some parts of the movie at random times while the TV is playing you can hear always hear someone talking about clowns... I though that was rlly intresting..
DJMSEK apparently they are all watching that show that told I think Henry to kill his dad and everyone else.
Anyone else thought the black kid looked like Muhammad Ali?
Joshua del8 I did. If they make a new bio movie on Ali they should cast him
Yeah, he totally looks like Mr. Ali!
mike?
The Nightmare on Elm Street Movie that was playing was the 5th one, which came out in 89. So it was probably just a nice little horror movie reference in a horror movie.
Btw great job with this video, I only noticed maybe half this stuff last night.
yeah, it was 5
Poking fun at the Slasher Horror

Pennywise back every 27 years, the video has 27 things about him...

"Beetlegeuse"
I'm sorry if it seems like I was being mean to you, I just tend to say things like that when I do double takes, I'm sorry if you took offense
Gremlins, Beetlejuice, and IT are all under Warner Bros. That's the main reason.
also the reason he didn't turn into the old monsters as in the book (Dracula, Frankenstein and the Mummy) they are under the domain of Universal (yep, they managed to copyright them, at least the look they made iconic, meaning if anyone want's to make a frankenstein film they can, but has to create another look for the monster, not green, not tall, not flat head and so on)
Not sure if anyone noticed but in the room where Pennywise trapped Richie in is full of clowns, his fear. One of the clowns was very very similar looking to Tim Curry's version. I thought it was a great easter egg.
It was funny how the expression on the Tim Curry clown looked like :'/ rather than the cheeseball goofy faces he made in the miniseries.
enZo caught that and also in the marsh household in the new movie they show this little clown figure that looks like Tim curry pennywise
enZo there was a portrait of Tim Curry Pennywise on the wall and the doll closest to the coffin where Pennywise was in was a doll of Tim Curry's Pennywise
Cj G. Missed that one. I thought i saw that but wasn’t sure. Ill have to rewatch it. Hehe
Are we not going to talk about the ladies face when he was at the library
Nadine Mason sssss
Penniwise
Nicklewise
Quarterwise
Halfadollarwise
Dollarwise
Im sorry
Nah it's fine
He listed 27 things. IT terrizes Derry every 27 years. Holy fuc-
Creative Unicorn illuminati?
actually IT terrorizes Derry every 30 years
#FRIESBEFOREGUYS it’s actually 27
#FRIESBEFOREGUYS also this movie came out 27yrs after the last semi-series which is when “IT” appears to feed.
Creative Unicorn when this movie came out it was Bill Skarsgårds 27th birthday
Did anyone see the creepy woman in the background smiling at Ben when he was at the library? I think pennywise took the form of this woman while Ben was flipping through the book with the zoomed up picture of the little boy's head in the tree
심은비 I saw that as well. I agree.
심은비 hello
심은비 did u see the new it 2017
Holy shit I did u right
Yes! I thought only I saw it
It was "Nightmare on Elm Street 5" that appeared on the Marquee, and that did come out in '89!
I feel a little offended your shirt design is basically the same hollow mask ichigo wears in bleach
Raymond Mendez ok
Did anyone else notice the two ladies in the background when ben is researching Derry's history in the library? They stop what they are doing and stare at ben. I thought it was pretty creepy
Tristan Trevino I definitely noticed that! So creepy!!!!! 😳😳😳
totally agree, i thought it was the creepiest scene in the movie........
Tristan Trevino I noticed that too but I only noticed one lady the librarian lady that talked to Ben at the beginning of the scene didn't notice the other one
I noticed it too, I also noticed that her smile got bigger every time it showed her
surprisingly that part scared me the most, idk why LOOL
Richie is a comedian thats afraid of class clowns. The irony.
I tought the scene where the boy in the Library gets the book actually from It who is transformed as a librarian. Who is standing in the back staring scary, while the kid goes true the history pages....brrrr gave me goosebumps.
Altough they made Pennywise a pretty scary Clown, I just couldn't get it out of my mind that it's the pretty looking Bill Skarskard... ;-)
she looks like my mother in law....believe me it was SCARY! She'd give IT a run for ITS money for sure!
Sofija Lopez and that big forehead
killer clown company : Yep that big forehead is horrible.
Sofija Lopez thank you i cant believe he missed that
I love this! Great thoughts CZsWorld, thanks! I loved this movie. :) I'm really new to 'IT' (never seen the original), but the more I learn and think about it, the more I fall in love. I've never seen one of your videos before, and I like your vocal and visual aesthetics a lot. *SUBSCRIBED*!
At some point Henry tells Mike "you should have stayed out of my town" or something along those lines. I think the racist undertone is there
David Ornelas really
David Ornelas ya when he first saw pennywise and they tried to run them over
Oh yeah, when he almost ran him over 😂
He's Called a "black pussy" during a beating by one of the bullies also. Pretty tame stuff imho

Snavels how is that racist tbh?
Martinez Twins Story-Edits only says it to mike
Martinez Twins Story-Edits adding BOY believe it or not made it racist
He said it was a shame that he wasn't the one to burn down the black boys house
Maybe they chose those posters because both Gremlins and Beetlejuice are Warner Bros. films. And so is 'IT'.
I know he doesn't need to think about it too much haha
VASHtheCritic holy shit why did I just realize that...
"here's the deal, ima bout to drop some.." my phone was loading and I literally screamed "BEATS" in a restaurant.
Great video! There's so much I never would have noticed seeing it just the once, anyway.
Also, anchor is a sign of hope. I didn't notice it Bev's ring, but you're spot on. She's definitely the anchor in the group, and her bravery might make her my favorite character!
It was actually "Nightmare on Elm Street 5" that was playing in the theater in the movie
Tyler Sackett
Yes it was part 5.
Tyler Sackett and Batman
Tyler Sackett the dream child
I was about to post that, thank you

kimmyfreak200 I'll take you
Cheers CzsWorld... I've never had a shout out before 10:46 - You rock dude :)
The nightmare on elm street 5 was playing, not the first one
I lived in a town that constantly played "old" movies so, it still plausible.
So on
I thought Pennysise climbing out of the refrigerator was a nod to the book's junkyard refrigerator.
Did y'all see IT's spider claws when he was fighting The Losers in the well?
iLLusionsZz it's a reference to the adult part of the tv series, when they fight it as adults and it's sort of a big spider. It was really cheesy but I assume it'll be a lot better and scarier in a few years
The spider form is IT's true form, or at least the closest it can get to in this plane of reality. IT is a demon form a demention on the other side of the universe, and the spider form is the one form IT hade when in that demention. This is gone over in detail in the book and somewhat in the mini series. The Dead Lights is when IT shows victims IT's truest form, and it's so grotests and evil that it either causes instant death, maddness, or a comatos state (like what happened to Beverly in this movie). IT got close to IT's real form in this movie when IT got especially pissed off and/or physically hurt.
rockstarchick820 I thought Pennywise was an alien and not a demon.
same diffrence
rockstarchick820 Its not.

"And now you too can look sharp" 😂😂i subscribed as soon as he said that.
I like how he did 27 facts about IT. Like how IT returns to Derry every 27 years.
I hope we don't have to wait 27 more years for Chapter 2
Keaivy YES! I said the same thing. Lol
Keaivy ode another 27 years just for chapter 2
Sadly it's coming out in 2019. Not 2044.
Keaivy I hope not I will be 70 years old but I will still go see IT
Low-key I wish it comes out in 27 years, if it came out sooner it'll ruin all the It vibes
Just got back from seeing the movie. I loved it- the effects were awesome, Pennywise was excellent, and the kids acting was incredible. Not sure if Chapter Two will be able to top this for me, since I've always preferred the kid storyline to the adult storyline, but I looking forward to that film as well.
Well?
Loved this video by the way. Such a great adaption!
I actually have a theory that may sound a bit retarded but I like it. So the second time Ben is seen in the library after the friendship group is all broken
He stares at a painting of a woman standing a well holding her baby,
And apparently 'IT' was supposed to have been in the town for centuries upon centuries. And lives Ofc lives down a well that goes to the sewers, So I think the well in that painting was the very same well and they used to know about 'IT' and every 27 years would sacrifice they're young to save them selves, and he would feed off the babies and the entire towns fear because they knew about him but eventually he was forgotten and so now does the killing himself. And that's what the painting was showing. Idk
Tineeka Miller - There is a whole scene in the script that they cut. I saw it in a deleted scenes youtube video. It was suppose to be back in the past when Pennywise first got there. The scene starts with a woman saying, "Take me instead." and Pennywise has this speech saying something like , "Sure I'll take you and your other children and the rest of the town. I will eat your flesh down to the bone and then I'll chew your bones and swallow your souls! Or you can give me your baby and I will leave your town." Then the baby cries as she puts it down and leaves crying. So, you are right! The picture does kind of take the place of that whole scene, though that was never addressed in the video. I was thinking like you, that's why it stuck out to me too!
czcams.com/video/fcMRRlbHmDo/video.html is the video with the deleted script.
Pat Elliott oh awesome! Yay
First bit isn't a theory that well is made clear that it's the one in the cellar of the house on Neibolt street but second parts a good theory
Tineeka Miller I thought this about the painting as well. I told my husband, why is she standing at the well with her baby? Seems like, as you said, back in the day people in those times were scared much easier into sacrificing their children to Pennywise. But over time, everyone just forgot about him.
You can def tell the racial undertone between Henry and Mike but I'm glad it wasn't too much because it probably would've hurt the movie which would've sucked because it was freakin AMAZING
also liked the shot of "The Frog Prince" book early on, then the kiss from Ben that brings Bev out of the trance.
When I saw It, a dude in the theater said- loud enough for everybody to hear- "Oh shit!" during one scene. I forget which one, though.
The theatre was showing Nightmare on Elm Street 5 which came out in 1989
Randy Newman August of 89
Randy Newman I noticed that too.
I did see some racism toward Mike when the bully almost hit him with his car in the alley, he hollered at Mike, "Get out of my town." I of course assumed that would be followed by a racial explicative.
Philosophic Goat it was implied that Mike's house burning down had a racist motive. He also calls Mike an outsider several times
Can anyone explain to me and sorry i forgot there names but the kid that goes to the library does anyone else see the older female staring at him when he's going through the books!?
Adam Chamul yea I saw her in the back ground
That was one of the creepiest things and i felt like no one noticed it but me!
Adam Chamul Ben.His name is Ben
I thought the pharmacist was creepy too, in the scene where Beverly knocks down some stuff off the counter and he shoots her some weird look when he picks it up
I thought the newspaper on the thumbnail said “lost chin” and I thought it was leafy
LMAOOOO
@CZsworld. The librarian in the scene where the fatkid researches IT's past attacks stares at him in the background the whole time he reads the book, once the balloon apears she teleports to her desk and then back to the bookshelves directly where she was stareing at him. Either it is a movie plot hole or it's a subtle hint that the women who gave him the books is actually pennywise, which would make sense to why she was stareing at him while he was reading, and also why there are two identicle old librarian ladies. Also the balloon passes from her\pennywise's side to the right where the real librarian is sitting at her desk
My belief here is that The Librarian that brought the book to Ben and stands behind him is Pennywise in disguise which is why no one pays attention to her. The one seated behind the desk is the actual librarian showing Pennywise can do things practically in broad daylight and no one notices.
Heath Doolin, exactly
W Pedd learn what ploy hole means. Even if it was unintentional it wouldn't be a fucking plot hole
The significance of an uncut key usually means that you can open anything you want, so long as you cut the key to the lock for what door you want to open. Metaphor for shaping your own future. It fits in with the movie too, because you can cut an uncut key to unlock locks, much like how Pennywise shape-shifts to the things each kid fears, to unlock and tap into the fear on which he feeds. Though, this also could be a reference to Duma Key. The book that Stephen King published in 2008.
I'm listening to this late at night, with my eyes closed, and the first time the balloon in the background popped, I jumped out of my skin!
Do you know how hard it is to climb back into human skin?!
Kinda sad that we can't include racism in modern day cinema
Not in the sense that racism is ok, but moreso to educate the newer generations of why it's so stupid to begin with in the hopes of preventing it from flourishing in the future from ignorance of the mistakes made in the past
Ninja Kuma - Let's Plays, Reactions, Meme's YEA!
Yeah it's not like no one's that racist anymore so why does it matter throw it in a movie
Pause at 3:17
Not sure if this is well known but throughout this entire scene, you can see that librarian at the back staring at the kid. Thought this was creepy as fuck.
That's scary as shit. She's like smiling with no eyes.
Noticed it too, the uncertainty really made that scene. It was so unsettling, which I live in a horror movie.
Yes, there were a lot of good moments in this (great) film.
Jesus that was the creepiest part of the film , thought I only noticed that
Dude I literally saw it yesterday in theatres and she was like the first thing I noticed and it fucking freaked me out lmao and I pointed it out to my mom and she's like wtf
Actually the turtle scene in the lake they are swimming in was a change to the original 2014 script where the audience is meant to see IT under the water during that scene but otherwise IT doesn't attack any of the loser's club then. It was changed in my opinion as it suited the tone better and was an easter egg that perhaps the turtle is protecting them from IT while they swim there. But that's just my theory on it.
I'm seeing more theories in the comments than the videos lol
Good Knowledge Bro, but when they past the movie theatre, I am pretty sure it was Nightmare on Elmstreet 5's poster with the baby carriage. Maybe there was a marathon lol..
Just found your channel. I love your insights. One thing you were a little incorrect on, the Nightmare on Elm Street playing at the movie theater was 5. There is a number 5 after the title which did come out in 1989. That was the Dream Child Installment
I spotted a little Easter Egg. In the scene in which Richie was separated in the house with the clown dolls, one of the clown dolls looks like Tim Curry's Pennywise.
randomer 81 I noticed that one too
I noticed that too!
haha yup
I spotted an Easter Egg too. Then another one, and another one, and another one. Then someone chased me through the halls and called me Eggboy.
Artywhacker What the fuck lol
I think Bev's Key is supposed to represent her innocence or virginity.
SW Fandom right like she still holds the key to her virginity and the key is uncut hence she has not been in use (sexually active)
Dean Joyner Excellent point During the whole movie, Bev's alleged sexual exploits were constantly being thrown at her
It was A Nightmare on Elm Street 5 that was playing in the theaters, which came out in August 11, 1989. I just thought I'd put that out there! 😅
Haha I love how Ritchie randomly has an airwolf t-shirt haha. Jan Michael that Vincent.
But as a metal head, I loved the random metal up your ass shirt, that some deep cuts Metallica there. Most of us got over them a decade ago since we all started out on them but it's still cool to see.
Most of these were pretty noticable if you're used to just keeping an eye out for details but still cool to see it all together.
The turtle references I loved, I doubt they'll actually have him appear and explain the celestial macroverse elements
It was Nightmare on Elm Street 5, which came out in '89.
I felt the racism vibe going. I was waiting for a slur to be honest.
Ryan Crawford well you should stop being racist. You'll stop seeing racism
Jesse Gerard it's true tho cus in the movie they say racist remarks
Seeing injustice doesn't mean one IS unjust. It means you have functional eyeballs.
And yes, I agree the racial vibe was strong even without the slurs. The bully seems to go out of his way to attack Mike more than any other "Loser".... in the alley, at the creek, and at the wellhouse. He is repeatedly told to "get out of our town/you don't belong here" etc although it's assumed he's been there his whole life as have several generations of his family. Even the "new kid" Ben is not told he doesn't belong or isn't wanted. Although Bowers cuts Ben, he attempts to murder Mike.
Also I believe Henry says "I wished I was the one who started the fire" when fighting with mike and mocking his parents.
Yea prob the reason they didn't have a slur in this movie is because it's in the 80s and in the mini series it was the 50s. Which meant Henry bowers were "greasers" and that was with Jim Crow Laws so that's prob bcuz of the slurs in the old movie
"Like 666 billion of you..." That's a weirdly specific number...
Iluminate confirmed!
You are hilarious 😂 Great video! Very detailed.
