Thanks for the kind words 🙏 For physical products you only need patent, it can be a design patent or a utility patent, to protect the design of the product or the innovation of it. But a copyright is more for literature, music, art, architecture, software etc - hope that helps

Sorry here I was referring to if a competitor copies your product rather than a supplier - the honorable suppliers will not share your product information with their other customers or for themselves. To get further protection you can also work with suppliers who are not sellers themselves

I would always give your current supplier the first chance to make the packaging, if they can make it to your requirements great, as they will have local packaging companies that they work with. But if you're not happy with what they can provide you then I would reach out a specific packaging supplier company for them to make it to your requirements and then send it to your product factory for packing, hope that helps :)
I believe you mean that competitors (especially unscrupulous Chinese manufacturers) CAN copy your product AND your brand but NOT your customer relationships. Not very heartening.
Yeah to further my point it's that suppliers definitely cannot copy your brand. They cannot copy your customer service, which influencers you align with, your social media strategy, the messaging you have with your loyal customers, the core values of your company etc etc so these are the things we should double down on in order to differentiate further from just product and price 🤓
It definitely helps to go to China but if not you can still achieve great results online. Only speaking English is fine too as majority of these companies have great English speaking people in their companies too :)
