I thought exactly the same! I've recently upgraded a 4th gen AIO from an i3 to an i5, and stuck with the T model as that's what the manufacturer (HP) had listed as compatible. I expected mostly due to the thermal design, but also quite possibly the VRM as the board was tiny! I'm not sure how well Dawid's 3770 will last in this AIO long term! 😂

So far I have replaced the ghastly HD with an SSD, have installed a dual boot of Windows 10 and Linux Mint. I have hesitated to put any more money into the computer because of its age, but like you said, it runs really cool and makes no fan noise that I can hear. Great video! Thank you for making this upgrade in steps, so we could see how the maxed out system with a closed back, i.e. original look, performs. I still think this upgraded version is a viable option for home office use, as you get the snappiness people seek.
That the cooler slacks this much is still a bummer. I don't know if Ivy Bridge has solder as TIM between the die and the IHS, but if not, there could be one or the other potential degree lying around. Anything else won't work without modifying the case.
On the other hand: For reasonable use cases these temps are still in check, in my opinion.
