Honestly I'm pretty good with how most finishers look nowadays, with a couple of exceptions like Booker's scissors kick, RVD's 5* and Randy's punt kick.

Spent my childhood playing Sm vs Raw 2011. The themes, the graphics, the impacts, and the game it self was everything
2k games are so much bs 😒. I only enjoy them when i play against people

A lot of the reason SDvR looks better is because it’s one animation that begins and ends the same every time. In 2K23 you do strike finishers actually from different angles and from out of no where, so they can’t always look so smooth. Also, finishers can end with a pin as opposed to SDvR where they always either end with one or dont end with one. It was always so annoying that a Five Star Frog Splash ended with a pin even in a non pin match in most of the SD games. Note how the SCM has to actually go all the way across the ring in this video rather than the opponent teleporting to the middle of the ring.

That really quick drop for the Batista bomb is so boring and doesn’t look devastating at all. Why they do that? Kane’s model for WWE SVR 2011 doesn’t look much different than 2k23.
