Baby Boomers have ruined the world..it's time for REVENGE!

- Have Baby Boomers really ruined the world? Is it time to institute some new rules to level the playing field for the rest of us? Should mandatory military service be required after people turn 65 years old? Perhaps it's time we start revoking Boomer rights or, at the very least, subjecting them to a sort of old-people squid game challenge. Millennials are pissed off. Gen Z is pissed off. Gen X is pissed off. This is intergenerational warfare at its finest!

The problem with Jerrys “Come And Take It” argument is that in 2005 it was RARE for a 60+ year old (with a desirable position) to remain in the workforce, his omission of that fact shows that has a false idea of how he gained his position and is thus propelling an unfair standard.
I appreciate this comment. Also makes me think of fundamental attribution errors, where he points to current folks' failing to obtain said jobs as a personal failing rather than contributing systemic and economic circumstances. I understand he worked hard to get to where he is, but people used to be able to retire and those positions would open and lead to opportunities for growth in teams under them.
The work harder guy doesn't want to participate in the show. That is precious.
Lmao he’s honestly a very nice guy he’s just a bit grumpy
This show got the motherfuckin sauce bruh
god bless
what kind of sauce?
@@SubwayTakes swag sauce bruh
@@SubwayTakesthought you knew 😤
Sure does
This show has no business being such a masterpiece. Absolutely brilliant, pls keep em coming
When Jerry mentioned that he got to where he’s at without a degree, I was like “ok Neel, this is an easy W. Just mention that nobody can get anywhere without $100k in student loan debt!” Fumbled that layup. Hahahah good shit though, love it!
Thanks for watching! Episode 2 out soon!
I think it's really worth remembering that the expression "Pull yourself up by the bootstraps" originally meant to waste action pointlessly because the only thing you accomplish by lifting yourself up from the shoes is that you look like an idiot.
We need more discussions like this!
We got u
I do have to say, as solidly Gen-x, watching the aging of millenials unfold on the socials has been outstanding. Love these takes between generations.
22:07 Jerrys phone being upside down is crazy
Is it kraxy?
If that old guy wanted to see someone take his job he would have retired by now. Its also funny how he clearly doesnt approve of the second half of the show and gets defensive and checks out.
this is the perfect execution to longer form of subway takes. Immediately subscribed!!! also lmao at jerry for constantly being on his phone during this interview......woulda thought thats a gen x move but apparently not
Best thing about the show is the abuse of ai! Please moreee of that!
A.I. can suck our d7ck!!!!
This was fantastic! More please.
Coming soon!
I just discovered Subway Takes and this show.... I WANT MORE!!!!
It wasn’t lost on me that you said “anecdote” instead of “antidote.” 😂 Fun show, hope it keeps going!
More. 💯
luvd this 🎭
Every side was respected, the most mature display of a broad spectrum of conversation interactions i’ve seen from these types of Y.T. discussion/news channels
pls keep this sorta early 80’s-90’s feel.
The cast is professionally unfiltered.
(Suggesting) Throw in some live audience feedback from younger people, older, special demographics (race, ethnicity, class, profession, group, position; pro, or opp, etc.)
I can’t believe this wasn’t longer like wtf.
Oh and nothing felt dog piled or bashed over the head. The way things slid from one opinion to the other was just wonderful. I’d be remiss to not say that the way yall handled things here, history facts and other grounded topics that sorta play factors in any political adjacency today- based off of background or something to do with policies is somethingi can see yall doing too, idk. good shit here. 🖤🙌🏽
Thanks for mentioning Gen X last in the description, makes us feel more comfortable.
I identify as Gen X
@@SubwayTakes so you understand
when i moved to new york city 13 years ago i also lived in a cold water squat
My boy Ian fucking dominated. What a ledge.
edgelord legend? lol ledge.
When he pulled that blade out and said guns are only illegal because of the government ROFL
Comedy gold, would love to see the extended version
Bruh even MORE extended than this?????
They talk fast because they need to finish the 30 second TikTok video explaining why orange coloured nail polish shouldn’t be applied first under sausage glaze.
“it’s an anecdote to these modern times” 😂😂😂 best ad ever
The ai images throughout were ridiculous.😂😂😂
I love the tension and palpable energy the editing brings with the end!
Thank you adam
This was great, Ian had some hilarious off-the-cuff jokes
Bro is hilarious
This video gives off NY so much i can now speak Bronx... LMAOOO
15:49 the term he was looking for is “Post Industrial”
I am here for this 😂😂😂 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 absolutely brilliant
thanks for watching!
lol Jerry is hilarious 🤣
He’s incredible
Jerry hit that randy orton tko at the start. Godamn
DOPE TALK !!
Jerry was a semi truck driver for 40 years, and it shows. Don’t sit there and brag about generational stuff you had nothing to do with unless you want to take responsibility for the economic and societal mess you left subsequent generations with. The arrogance from this man is palpable. However, all of you on this show give yourselves a solid ego stroking. My issue with artists: A team of thousands works to builds infrastructure for vehicles to move in a network across the globe, engineers design, laborers produce, and a supercar drives on the roads. A design team takes credit for all of the significance of the culmination of work because they chose paint colors for the car and matched the interior. Not a shred of humility from any of you jokers.
Liked the banter. How edited is this? I don’t know if it needs more moderation or less.
It’s cut down from about 1 hour of footage or so. Maybe we’ll release the extended cut soon
this boomers delusional
Very Localish/Talk Stoop/NYC DIY journalism. Will these get clipped to get played in the back of yellow cabs?
Gotta have finance on every time!
Love this. Don’t need all the AI visuals woven in throughout. The conversation is compelling enough without.
Goated first episode
yooooo thank you for watching!
‘BEIN IAN’
“I see kids your age lining up for an hour and a half for a fucking crumpet.”
“How about those guys on the subway who are wearing those dumb ass google $3500 (glasses).”
“I certainly had quaaludes and it was tragic when it was banned.”
Hell fuckin yeah, NY represent!!🤣
Thanks for watching 🫡🫡🫡
Failed artist writes book on how to be an artist.
A great man
Was gonna do the dishes but then Subway Takes dropped..
You need to get Gen X on here, and make the questions more interesting.
Come on the show ya old geezer
Too much ableton live compression, too much squashing. Just use a limiter.
masterclass in generative imagery
Ian with that double wonderful shirt
Amé esto, lo que sea aue es, K. Saludos desde México. Oh, y me acabo de enterar que soy una Transboomer.
wait why is so short?
the cynicism here is ridiculous. also, no, gen z most definitely wants to work. absurd.
Powerful discomfort from Jerry here
he's a very powerful man
why does Jerry look like Woody Allen in the pics?
This would be much better without the AI images
daaaaaaamn this boomer is lit!
The audio sucks but the show is good
The mics are horrible
Literally not true
Kinda wish there were more women in the room. I'm counting Dolly and still feels a little broey.
Agree tbh
Mooooooooreeeee
Ugh
Love everything about this except the unnecessary AI images; Bush war machine and Kirby Puckett diarrhea pants were a nice touch tho
Ok that’s good enough for me!
kdwscott is a giant dork
trans boomer lol
heheh
A whole new generation is leaning that sometimes you have to work like past generations did the last 500k years.
