Lithops is a genus of succulent plants in the ice plant family, Aizoaceae. Members of the genus are native to southern Africa. The name is derived from the Ancient Greek words λίθος (líthos), meaning "stone," and ὄψ (óps), meaning "face," referring to the stone-like appearance of the plants

Every single person on internet said not to pull the old leaves and no watering during that time but this person just pull it away. I got really shocked by it. However, her lithops still alive and even blooms so she must have been doing something right🤔

*type of pot used is incorrect ; should be elongated since lithops roots tent to go further downwards
*do not remove leaves unless completely dry
*DO NOT WATER EVERYDAY ; lithops are watered depending on the cycle/stage they are at ; water only 3 times year
*mix of gritty and succulent soil is excellent
*LIKE EVERY PLANT, IT SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH CARE

She must water them often becuase the older leaves are not that dry. Beautiful lithops, by the way.

You have too fatty lithops - too much water and overfertilizing. Your soil is 50% organic when it should be 25% and below, I found my sweet spot to be 25% for 1-3-year-old plants and less than 15% for well-established 3+-year-old plants.
Also, you bury them too high, They should be at least buried half of their height. Many bury them 1-2 mm sticking out of the surface.

You don't peel the old leaves. So far, she's the only one who does it. Please do your research on other sites or channels regarding proper care for lithops.

Trong nhà có đủ ánh sáng thì ok em hoặc phải có đèn
E để cạnh gần cửa sổ chỉ có ánh sáng thôi, ko có nắng chiếu trực tiếp vô. E định trồng haworthia vs sen mông ngay đó thì có cần lắp thêm đèn không ạ. Em cảm ơn chị nhiều 😘

When they're growing new leaves you're not even supposed to water them the old leaves are feeding they're moisture to their new leaves. (Your also only supposed to get 1 lithop not 2 after splitting)
You can get two. And it's LITHOPS not LITHOP regardless of the amount. It stays with the s. It stays "plural".
Sometimes you get a few.

Your watering schedule depends on a lot of other things (i.e. temperature, medium, etc.).
