In the days leading to the conflict virtually everyone was snobbing Zelenskyy, when he sat down for the interview at the Munich conf. ON UNKRAINE.... She asks Zelensky ..." why did you come here" the friking thing was organized because of Ukraine and she askes the President of the damn country why is he there ??!!! and the tone... oh... shocking, so annoying.

It's crazy to think that these very same atrocities have been committed by Russians for decades, but only because of cell phones now are we able to see the depth of Russia's depravity.

Yeah because they never really learned what they are doing is simply wrong. Moreover they think they are the better people and everything goes as long they are fighting "Nazis". The First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska has rightly said, "Don't get used to our grief", because when that happens it becomes like "yesterday's news", and gradually forgotten. No, the grief of Ukraine is the grief of every Ukrainian who have lost a family member. Their tears, are the tears of mothers, fathers, children, each one losing one or more family members or friends. For the world community, the grief of Ukraine must stay as raw as those in Ukraine who mourn. Only then, will we have the empathy required to identify with Ukrainians.

Olena Zelenska is doing amazing, courageous work with a network of other strong women, supporting families and children displaced by the war. She is a light in the world, like her husband. That is an extraordinary message from Olena Zelenska. "Don't get used to our grief". However difficult it is for us to view the news reports and the images coming out of Ukraine, that is magnified 44 million times for the nation where its happening, for all of its sons and daughters. I hope we're reaching a point where we don't turn away because it's easier and more comfortable not to look, or because it taps into our own fears and we can't face them. Where we collectively provide a shoulder not just to lean on, but to stand on. "You raise me up to walk on stormy seas. I am strong when I am on your shoulder". They are fighting with immense courage from a position of deep-rooted love for their country and a will for it not just to survive, but to thrive again. And it will. Because of them. And they need us to believe in that, too. In them. In the need to preserve freedom. There are very powerful messages here about common humanity, about the power of unity, about the cost of preserving what is precious to us, and about the need to ensure that tyranny and aggression should never be rewarded.
