He sprained BOTH ankles here... and then did the whole interview like he's fine. I'd barely be able to string words together after that lol
He's walked away after bull attacks.
I heard he actually sprained his toes on one foot. Like all of them.
As someone who has sprained an ankle a couple times, I can tell you that I would NOT be this well composed.
Yes we all watched the steveo podcast
you could always tell when letterman liked his guests, he was genuinely amused by johnny here. I hadn't seen it since it aired and it's just as delightful as back then
Looking back, it’s amazing that he’s still alive over 20 years later.
Knoxville was always so underrated for the stunts he did... he and Steve-O were truely fearless (and still are which is the coolest part)
I was OBSESSED with Knoxville's jacket back in the early 2000s, I could never find one, you can get replica Easy Rider jackets but this one has the stripes down the left side. I managed to get the exact one off eBay a few years back, an original 60s/70s TT cafe racer jacket, it was stunning but too short in the sleeve, it cost me alot of money so I couldn't have it sitting in my closet so I sold it...
I got mine from a game: John Tanner had it then I just added the colors
What a great guest. I had no idea what a legend Knoxville would become.
He's so freaking hot
One of the most iconic talk show moments
That Eleanor Roosevelt line! Oh my God LOL
oh no, he's hurt bad.
talking like that at first you can tell he's really ----ing hurt. talking like he's winded, every word of "Yes, no, I'm good, I'm good" is like he's out of breath. that sounds like him barely able to keep that pressure in his lungs and stomach down. that horrible "I'm really hurt" feeling you get right up through your torso where you usually end up yelling or even screaming.
but he needed this interview. back then it was just some dumb show, probably wouldn't last 2 seasons. no hit movies, no hit TRILOGY, no legacy, no longtime fans, none of that. amazing moment. he kept it together.
He’s so kind and a great storyteller
Johnny very sweet
Johnny’s wife was over it twenty years ago and he’s still going today 😂
he divorced like...twice ahaah
@@jessikabentivogli1039 is he currently in a relationship now?
@@inqzuke nope or at least nothing official
The Eleanor Roosevelt joke was so out of pocket 💀💀
Thanks for the uploads whoever is working behind the scenes!!!! I really appreciate the classic interviews, takes me back to a simpler time for me.
Hey! An air date in the description! Thank you!
I remember watching this on tv
I remember watching this on CZcams
@@packutz3411 yeah me too. like a minute ago
Love the content
After that much abuse he’s still totally fine 20+ years later, and many of the crew too. Pretty impressive 😄
Hope he can avoid the CTE stuff.
Dude he had real cognitive issues after the last one. Very much not fine.
He’s definitely not “totally fine” but I’m glad he’s alive and smart enough to retire now.
Lol he is def not fine my guy. He has many physical and neurological issues now due to all his stunts
He may have issues... but he's still every bit as fine
Give it two weeks to reach 1 Million subs.
he is SO hot
Some day I will tell my grandkids: this was my spiritual God
Man how did rue do it with the same shoes lol
You can see his ankle is swollen when he moves his feet.
Man the only downside to this channel is they have to cover up Paul and the band due to copyright. Shame.
@captain scentsible39 yeah but they don't own the music they're covering, they paid to play it maybe once on a late night show, not in perpetuity on the internet
Not from 3 weeks ago,from 2001
can somebody explain that eleanor roosevelt bit, Im not American..
It's believed that Eleanor Roosevelt was a lesbian.
can someone explain the eleanor roosevelt joke please i don't understand
Eleanor was the wife of Franklin D. Roosevelt who was paralyzed from the waist down and relied on a wheelchair and leg braces for mobility, which he took efforts to conceal in public.
I didn't get the Elanor Roosevelt joke :/
Pj
