    He sprained BOTH ankles here... and then did the whole interview like he's fine. I'd barely be able to string words together after that lol

      As someone who has sprained an ankle a couple times, I can tell you that I would NOT be this well composed.

    you could always tell when letterman liked his guests, he was genuinely amused by johnny here. I hadn't seen it since it aired and it's just as delightful as back then

    Knoxville was always so underrated for the stunts he did... he and Steve-O were truely fearless (and still are which is the coolest part)

    I was OBSESSED with Knoxville's jacket back in the early 2000s, I could never find one, you can get replica Easy Rider jackets but this one has the stripes down the left side. I managed to get the exact one off eBay a few years back, an original 60s/70s TT cafe racer jacket, it was stunning but too short in the sleeve, it cost me alot of money so I couldn't have it sitting in my closet so I sold it...

  • @bijibadness
    @bijibadness Před 5 měsíci +4

    oh no, he's hurt bad.
    talking like that at first you can tell he's really ----ing hurt. talking like he's winded, every word of "Yes, no, I'm good, I'm good" is like he's out of breath. that sounds like him barely able to keep that pressure in his lungs and stomach down. that horrible "I'm really hurt" feeling you get right up through your torso where you usually end up yelling or even screaming.
    but he needed this interview. back then it was just some dumb show, probably wouldn't last 2 seasons. no hit movies, no hit TRILOGY, no legacy, no longtime fans, none of that. amazing moment. he kept it together.
