I've been trying this for months but thanks to this video I learned you only need to press heavy attack and press jump and dive at the same time then I'm fucking yeeted into the stratosphere

you could also change your shatterdive input to press instead of hold or whatever you have it on, then you just heavy swing, jump then press your shatterdive button

It’s incredibly easy on console. What I find works the best is pressing all three inputs at the same time.

I do a bit of speed running on controller, and you can actually bind 'air dive' to a double press of your jump button (mine is LB) and it makes it *even* easier.
Need that algorithm support.

Its been a while since i did it but im pretty sure you can also just hold down the dive button, jump and swing and it activates the dive once you jump since its held down
Can you do a tutorial on skating on a flat surface for controller? Heard it was possible but I haven't been able to do it, nor find a tutorial.

Shatter skate on control is a million times easier then we’ll skate. I got the hang of shatter skate right away but I still can’t well skate consistently
Its absurdly easy you just gotta set your shatterdive to single press b and spend 30 min practicing
swap -> heavy attack -> a+b
I strand skate on my hunter now
I’ve done well and shatter skate on controller and after a lil bit of practice they are easy to master
You can slide your thumb across a and b making it easy
It def is easy on controller once you get the binds together. Make sure you guys have shatter dive in single press. Also don’t wait for any visual queues when you do it just spam in the correct order after sword swap and it works. PS let’s not forget PC can just press one button. Macros but controller inputs so shame let’s not pretend half of pc people have it bonded to one button
Ledge skating is so easy to be consistent at I cant see why you would macro it. Ground skating maybe, but I prefer to just find a ledge, throw a stasis wall or something to get the faster right click skating.

If you want to have an easy time with well-skating on Controller, just change your super Button to the right stick
I've changed my inputs to up and down on the dpad for super and air dive respectively. It helps a ton
Always wanted to shatterskate but never wanted to learn until I had purple sword. Finally got it red frame today after 3 Xur resets (also never saw eager edge on it)

We may only have to press three inputs but there could be a delay messing people up, mnk can use macros and bind scroll wheel for jump making it just as “easy” as controller. Y’all even have ground skating cuz the he wheel bind.

What you recommend for a paddled macro
I use B “Shatterdive” as the macro
Then you can use your thumb solely for jump and your index for the heavy attack.

What subclass and weapons do I need to use?
Stasis subclass so you can use shatter dive and you need a sword with the eager edge perk.
I still cant actually activate it

@mznxbcv9628 Frames and hardware man frames and hardware. Can't tell me that a controller with a console with pre-made parts is faster than a hand-built piece by piece made PC with much better hardware and speed. It's just facts man pc is better and if you have a hard time hitting 4 key binds can't you just customize it to be 3 instead?

Unfortunately controllers can’t do macros to combine multiple buttons into one with set timings

It's very similar and you press the same buttons you do for shatterdive except obviously, you press your super button instead of your shatterdive button. I bound my super button to my bottom emote button and I got it down after a while. Try to jump first before you press the super button.
Just chang out the shatter dive for super.
