The revolver can make sight holes in the wall, the literal reason to rock it and also the iron sights on the German pistol are definitely one of the worst of the pistols imo

It is fucking good it is not good when you pre aim in the gun fight due to huge frame however its ads is quite good so swing then fire even while aiming then you almost always get headshots i swear to God 😂 it is laser gun it does not have recoil and it has 30 bullets and it has one of the fastest fire shot speed or whatever it is called

I think one of the biggest issues with Wamai is the fact his gadget takes forever to give him all 6. Wamai is also way weaker at stopping flashes or yings. I do believe Wamai shines at stopping ash from getting Mira’s or ace getting a wall, or even someone getting a shield. I think Wamai should just start the round with all his disks, if he puts them all in one area at the same time it could backfire. If he puts them all in different areas, they aren’t as hard to burn. Also if you see a room full of them, either push another side or bring stuff like twitch, a ton of flashes, Brava.

This isn’t a big downside since the attackers shouldn’t be able to spam flashes on sight until the late execute if youre wasting the attackers time like you’re supposed to. Also Wamai definitely stops flashes better if you place them as close as you can to attackers without exposing the disc to them

@@squintohighlights Funnily enough Jaegers gadget is also better at holding oppresive angles, allowing you to place your observation walls and not get flashed or naded out, forcing them basically to peak you without any soft pings.

p12 is technically the better choice but if you're good at the game then you should be running the keratos. 2 shot kill on basically anyone and it's insane for making big holes in walls
The higher rank you are, the more able someone will be able to effectively hide their laser, and also the higher you go the more that miniscule frame reduction in ADS speed matters. However, the ranking system is completely mucked at this point so ranks don't even matter anyways. The fact of the matter is that this will not benefit the majority of players, lol
in the topic of lasers, I remember baiting people by aiming head-level with the laser as they see it but I'm prone close to the door.

considering the clear downside, I'm used to just aim at the wall next to the doorway for a quick flick when they come in.

3:03 What make Wamai>Jager better is back the grenade point; you can throw (no deploy technically) and it’s already set. Jager has to take set up time+have activation action. Wamai can get his gadget out w.o being detected meaning he’s safe. His gadget can catch grenades meaning is set wisely, you lose 1 gadget that possibly get a kill+ and is counted as such for Wamai :) but Jager overall is better safe pick imo

In this current meta, wamai is now representing the exact same situation as the warden 1.5x meta, the goyo meta, and jager acog meta. They all had a good gun, that allowed for a "gunner" player to exploit it, all the while either helping the team or just taking the express route to winning.
Also side note, anyone else remember the days when the tcsg had 84 dmg, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did, from y3s4 to y5s2 I think, crazy to think the devs refused to do anything to it.
I always equip a laser on my secondary, because the only time I use it is if I run out of ammo in a gunfight and need that extra boost in ads
You can use wamai gadget multiple times on one door it’s just that you have to make sure they are not all clamped together, just spread them out a bit and then you can use multiple and wamai is more flexible You can put a magnet in front of a mirror say first sight villa without it being able to get easily shot. It put it on the sofa or something unlike jager. And then put another one on like the fireplace, I rest my case wamai better for playing with Op is like Mira and better in general

holy shit I'm so happy you said the laser thing at the end! I've been going crazy seeing youtubers who FOR YEARS have been saying to NEVER EQUIP LASER, then all of the sudden telling me to auto-equip it on every gun. Like, your the same person who said that using a laser will give away your position, but now that ubisoft updates the game to make laser a little bit useful, you completely lost sight of why you didn't equip lasers in the first place?!?!
Going to school now, im fonna test this afternoon with my friend a thing with wamai. Basically it consists in shooting the granade once it stops in front of the magnet, so it wont go off, is that valid? Gojna edit this

The big reason Wamai is better is because he can play reactively, whereas Jager has to hope his guess for where he put his gadgets at the beginning of the round was right. You spent all this time going over the negatives of Wamai’s gadget while glossing over the element of trapping with skilled Wamai placements. Wamai is also much more of an anchor than Jager because he has to survive late into the round in order to fully utilize his gadget. Wamai clears in every aspect, and I honestly think he needs a nerf to make the comparison fair. But I still play Jager because he’s sick
he also completely forgot about drones and how easy jagers are to spot and how LOUD they are. you can easily gauge how many are on any given door by the noise they make. he also like you said has to pray the attackers push through the part of the map that his ADS are stacked on otherwise he's pretty useless. I definitely feel like the video was biased, he basically didn't cover any of wamais strengths on his gadget and didn't cover jagers downsides. pretty much devolved to 'destroy bade = better'

You know you don’t have to put wamais in detrimental locations like 4:04 right? Like wouldn’t it make more sense to hide the magnet somewhere near where the green laundry basket is so that the trax stingers would bounce back and deploy on the gridlock? Or rather flank locations?

This is a case of two operators seeming like they should do the same thing, but in practice work differently enough from each other we comparisons hard to do. I think Wamai being more popular and pro league and higher ranks is just how much math control is weighted in higher levels of play. But practically anything outside of pro play and five stack champ lobbies, Jäger provides the better utility.
That’s why you place Wamais disks in where the enemies will be so it goes off within their own lines
Nothing else goes in the laser slot. I must fill all the slots. I will use the laser.
The Keratos is good for making sightlines. Not necessarily prefiring like one does with the Pistol.
the ironsights which are unplayable on most guns give a 5% ads boost over 1x and the laser gives a 15% additional XD

ngl the jeager recoil is perfect, most of the time i notice if i aim for chest (on pc atleast) the receoil guides me to a headshot (this is usually a close to mid fight)
So we have bad crosshair placement and bad recoil control

I understand that R6 is an objective game and Jaeger is better at directly defending site I agrew with you there. I disagree when you made it seem as if Wamai's gadget was useless out of site when its not. An example of this is the pixel shield in cigar lounge a Jaeger covering tge sheild doesn't do the same as a plethora of wamai discs on the light fixture or under the chairs.
Wamai is the jager "replecement"? I think ubi tried to do it with the Acog mp5 and the similar gadget.
you should have shown in the video those battle scenarios where you should use wamai or where you should use jager.

With wamia you can throw his disks outside to catch ace charges and impact trick. If you also have a bandit it’s impossible to open breach.
Better gun, better secondary gadget, less set up time, not even close imo wamai is better. The argument that using wamai can hurt your team makes sense until you actually play that game and realize that it never happens. I don’t think I’ve ever been damaged or flashed by a grenade that is caught in a wamai as a defender. If you are a defender who gets affected by that then it is a skill issue on that defender not because wamai is bad. Also very recently I’ve noticed that top fraggers in my games mainly play waimai on defense. He is a great op for getting kills which is how you win games.
I've been playing R6 for about a week, I've had it forever just never played it. Granted I've only made it to plat so far in ranked, but I've been hit by stuff because of wamai soooo many times. Just an hour or so ago when I was on I got flashed because of it lol

1. Delays the attacker from pushing for a couple seconds as their detonation is mistimed.
2. Gives the defenders time to reposition and avoid captured gadgets effects.
Whereas Jaeger simply destroys the gadget.

I dont know, seeing it on video vs feeling it mid fight, the ads boost feels needed. on video looks so much slower than it feels, idk prolly just me. I'm in emerald and I cant remember the last time i was killed due to a laser.
Before someone reads, I have a Small mention: read everything before commenting.
Jäger is just overrated, and don’t get me wrong, I really like it a lot overall, voicelines, bio, weapons, gadgets.. but Wamai is just a superior option. Apart from the gadget and equipment, the main ability has its own flaws and qualities, just like Jäger’s.
Exactly as the video says, Wamai's gadget is a 'disposable', but Jager's has to reloaded (time cooldown), and it has only 2 charges (for each ADS, 3 in total).
And then no one would throw a grenade and wait to throw another one in the same spot, They would only miss the opportunity to throw it at that moment.
And it is not very convenient to put more than one Jager ability in a single point, the other rooms would remain uncovered, in some sites, it is possible to put more than one gadget if the attack in that area is popular and frequent.
On the other hand Wamai, need intelligence and cunning to use it, you can not throw the gadget in the bomb room, it would only create damage to the Defence, instead throw the ability, in the rooms near the sites, and possibly in hidden spaces so they can't see and destroy them, and don’t throw them near each other, the granade could destroy nearby gadget.
Wamai's ability has only 6 charges and as I said before, they are "disposable", and also Wamai need to ‘build them’ during the round (he cannot use all the gadgets together right from the start).
And also.. in certain situations Jager can be more effective, especially on occasions when throwing the Wamai's gadget can be complicated (due to enemies or long distance). And finally there's also the fact that Wamai could die without having the chance to place all of his 6 gadgets.
In my opinion, Jager remains a great choice, especially in rooms very close to the sites. But Wamai is objectively better (in most cases).

Wamai is crucial for stopping Capitao at higher ranks. Capitao can prevent bandit tricking and allow pushes like rafters on cash site in clubhouse. Wamai can also be used to deny acing walls like on K9 balk on chalet. IMO Wamai better right now

The displacement ability of Wamai's gadget can be useful in some scenarios. Like if a person wants to flash out an enemy in a power position, a Wamai would be able to protect them. Although Jager straight up does that better, if it is off sight, the ADSs will not be placed there as they are more useful on sight. So, I believe that Wamai can still be more useful in certain scenarios than Jager. But that was a given I guess.

I hate that I run the laser sight now but in every situation where I have to quickly react and get my gun up I was just losing with the new ads times until I started running it. Before this it was only shotguns that I would put it in
I get what your saying about jager. The only issue like you said with Jager is that he's only an anchor. Wamai maybe isn't as good of an anchor as he is with his gadget but his gadget is also helpful for roaming. And also you under estimate the Kratos. That pistol is a 2 shot that makes rotates and has 0 recoil. Its literally just the deagle just less satisfying and easier to use. I agree with what you say on Ying and Gridlock. But it still fully counters people like nomad you said it dosen't. No Nomad swings after their gadget is wamaied hoping a defender is flung. I respect your opinion

I wanna defend fellow laser users and say that if you know how to use a laser properly, its not a detriment.
You dont hold the angle as you would without a laser, you hold it on the doorframe, hiding the laser and flick to the enemy when they peek.
Hello Mr. Brick, I would like to share my number one reason why I think Wamai is better than Jager, and was a bit shocked you didn't mention this: Wamai is better imo because his gadget can be easily placed at any point in the round. Whilst Jager's gadget, must be used and placed during prep phase. Which Allows drones and the enemy team to see where you placed them, which then can be countered very easily. Lets say you place most of your gadgets on B site, when the entire enemy team rushed A, on the other side of the map. Making Jager useless. Wamai can still be useful in this situation. Jager taking off his ADS, and placing it elsewhere in the round is impractical for obvious reasons. Combine that with a lower recoil gun and access to a 2.0x scope, I believe Wamai is better, however both ops are still good picks
Mp5k Acog on wamai was really interesting as a former mute main.
I always thought he should have 1-2 more disks and a much faster recharge rate than he would be much more fun to play

Me and my stack really only ever use a wamai when we have a mira, so enemies cant ash or ace the mira.

Earned yourself a subscriber. I think you have really good points. In my opinion I think Wamai is a better operator at top ranks, solely because they have better map knowledge, and know how to place wamais correctly, however where I am (Gold 3) Jager is probably better. And another thing, I think a lot of people underestimate observation blockers. They can block a lot of gadgets, and counter drone ops like flores or brava (until they get rid of the blocker itself though) They’re still useful. Lastly, Jagers shotgun is very underused. It gives Jager the ability to make headholes and rotates, and its just a strong shotgun all around. Overall, this was a well made video :)
honestly even in the lower elos id still pick wamai. the gadget is still obviously useful but in lower elos you don't even really have to play strategically to win (there's no strategy in copper) so you can just pick fraggers and win that way. and wamai has a much easier and better gun so I think that alone is enough of a reason to pick wamai over jäger

Ngl I really like jager but its just the 1x scopes that kinda ruin him for me, I prefer a more zoomed in scope you know
laser sights are very aggressive/emergency CQC gameplay (like Hibana runs out of ammo and force to use Bearing 9 cause the enemy might push you) or passive as in like you’re looking at the wall and waiting for the enemy to come to you then you attack once you think the enemy is close through soundwhoring, it’s never about holding an angle once you put on the laser sight.
I put laser sights on a lot of my machine pistols (except smoke and mute or other ops that use MPs like a primary weapon and need better aim placement for longer range battles) cause of the ads on machine pistols nerf and that “reduce few frames” can save your butt when your primary that have a characteristics of ‘low ammo, high fire rate and reload somewhat felt long like hibana full reload animation and hurts a lot more on attacker side cause need to pre-fire on common angles’.
all in all laser sights are more niche specific operators depending on what loadout, gadget or where you push/defend in the map (like ying where they need to close the distance fast to push pillar from bunk in oregon to get map control and Hibana in my prior reasoning or Doc Acog holding a long angle do no need for laser sight).

Yes but no. Holding an angle isn't viable so the ennemi will rarely see your laser. And if you're holding a pixel angle, the laser doesn't show up.
Swinging is still king so the faster you ads, the better

Yes I agree with Jager and the laser sites but with the Laser sites shields got a second buff that people don't know is that when you have a Laser sites on shields their pistols are pointed up in the air and you won't be able to see it until they aim at u or a wall brick.i only use Laser on shields but not clash or osa bc there different then the other shields operators.

Jagers make noise unlike wamai discs meaning you know (if you’re not in copper) that there are ads on a certain door so you don’t waste your utility. Because you can also maybe hide wamai discs and they don’t make noise, you can easily capture ace Selma’s which are crucial to the round.
I swear try the revolver on wamai, it has really high damage with no recoil. Ya gotta try it 👍

You’re whole argument was pretty weak in my opinion because you gave cases in which wamai is bad but it seemed like you only gave examples where the gadget is being utilized poorly to show it’s not good.
