I used to work in a industrial wax blenders which made Chavant hard styling clay for the automobile industry and for artisanal sculptors . The process was a very smelly affair and the company that I worked for broke health and safety rules by not providing adequate air conditioning meaning taking bad air out of the factory instead it was circulating within the factory and when using white spirit to make microcrystalline waxes I felt light headed like drinking a bottle of Whiskey a day . Nevermind the waxes I used were paraffin wax, Canurba wax, Portuguese wax, Japwax and beeswax most of the waxes were used for polishing metal, leather and wood .

Thanks for this. It makes me feel like I know what I’m doing sometimes, haha. I didn’t like the look of 4625 on its own, so I started mixing it 50/50 with 6006. I ran out of that and decided to mix 4625 and c3, and MAN I’ve gotten great feedback with those. My friends that are testing having nothing but good things to say. Even at 50/50 ratio with 4625 and c3 I’ve been using 10% FO and have no issues. Thanks for the inspiration!!

Have you ever come across - Panlijah Inconceivable Position - (search on google ) ? I use coconut creme wax. I just love the wax for my candles. I need to add another wax for hardness gor melts. I don't mind using a bit of paraffin wax as long as it's food grade. Any suggestions? Maybe a soy with parrifin blend? I love beeswax, but scent wise you cant add to much fragrance. I sell beesway candles, but I don't use fragrance. Thanks!

Good morning, I recently purchased 4625 and was going to make clamshells and shot cups but after seeing how hard this wax is would you suggest this wax alone or blended with 6006? I see many people who have purchased 6006 and realized it was too soft so they are adding 4625 to make their 6006 harder so they won’t waste 6006. What are your thoughts ? Thank you. Great video as always! I had a question about candle waxes. Not for melts, but just container candles in general. Why do people go with Soy over other waxes like persay Joy wax? is it only because of hte ability to mark it as all natural and the increasing market towards soy? I notice that you use paraffin mixes on your site so you must have success outside of pure soy. For someone aspiring to start a candle company, do you recommend continuing to work with soy with it's difficulties or move to a more simple wax like joy or ig6006? Thanks!

Hi I'm a candle maker from 2014, and in my experience people like to hear the "natural soy speech", but at the end the most important thing for them it is the hot throw of your candles and how clean they burn. I use 464 blend wax from Aztec and works good for me in California and Florida even during the summer.

I used EcoSoya PB Pillar SOY Wax from Candle science but they have discontinued it

I use paraffin with soy and coconut wax with paraffin. It has made a big difference with my melts ; scents increased and sharper edges.
