Totally agreed. But they've already collaborated with Udacity to provide several courses ranging from Deep Learning to Android development, that's a great starting point.

I'm just starting out and I liked this video. Interesting to learn about machine learning applications like image recognition, fraud detection and recommendation systems that we see on Google search and next video recommendations on CZcams. Also interesting to know about predictive models and that data is used to train the model to serve predictions which results in answering questions. Good one.

Very informative video. I have a quick question; Do I need to learn C language or any other coding to be able to learn machine learning? I am a commerce graduate, but I love to know more about predictive analysis.
First learn mathematics, then computer science, then come into programming, and then ai, under which comes ML, if u want to be an authentic software professional

I thought machine learning meant teaching a humanoid robot the meaning of life, how to ride a skateboard, etc. Thank you for the clear definition!
google search uses machine learning? what? nope it only uses a little database and you get most used sentences as suggestion... or if you have a word you typed wrong you also get suggestions of most used words with those letters in combination wirh the others words you used... its easy. i have something like this in one of my own java scripts... works fine.

It would sound like a joke but it is reality: "In college before exams just a few days before we gather sample papers, mark the questions which repeat in the last 5 years most of the times and make predictions that they have the highest probability to come in the paper" -> and guess what as a result we clear our exams with no knowledge of core subjects only gathering info and learning the answers specific to those questions which are predicted to get repeat ->, as a result, we successfully clear our degrees... This justified the approach that how important the data is and if there is a set of patterns involved in any process then we could predict the actual outcome at the success rate of nearly accurate. ("machine learning is USING DATA ANSWER QUESTIONS")
