Fixing a Dog Tracking Truck

This chevy was running down the road like a dog out of alignment. We got it back on the road by replacing the centering bolt in the leaf spring.
Definitely did it the hard way in some aspects, but it was my first time and we got her done.

So would you say this is pretty much the same for all trucks? I have a dodge that looks pretty much the exact same but the dog tracking is a lot worse
