Park Jimin is a rapper from South Korea who has gained a large following for his unique style of hip-hop. In this video, we'll share some of his struggles and victories as a rapper.
From his beginnings as a rapper trying to make a name for himself to his current success, we'll take a look at the ups and downs of Park Jimin's career. We'll also discuss some of the lessons he's learned along the way, which will help you succeed as a rapper too!

In this video, I'll be sharing my struggles and victories of Park Jimin. Park Jimin is a K-Pop singer that recently broke through into the US music scene. Along the way, he's experienced a lot of highs and lows, and I want to share with you everything I've learned about him.
This video is full of tips and advice about Park Jimin that I've learned from talking to him and from listening to his music. I hope you enjoy it!

In this video, I'm sharing my struggles and successes with Park Jimin. Park Jimin is a popular K-pop singer and actor, and I filmed this video while he was performing in Japan.
I came into this video project with some preconceived notions about Park Jimin, and I learned a lot in the process. I hope you enjoy watching my struggles and successes as much as I did filming them! - Zábava
Here's info that some still aren't aware of:
❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals.
JIMIN has now won the prestigious titles for 4 yrs in a row, for both KING OF KPOP, as well as also winning BEST TOP #1 DANCER IN KPOP, also 4 yrs in a row!! Jimin is also referred to as "Rookie's Bible" because all rookie idols, try to emulate & study every move he makes, trying to learn from him! Aside from all that Jimin has won other countless award, broken many records. His 7 solos: ‘Lie’, ‘Serendipity’, ‘Filter’, ‘Promise’, ‘Christmas Love’, including collabs: Jimin's OST ‘With You’, as well as collab w/Taeyang ‘Vibe’, have broken charting records worldwide, as well as being top seller, plus most listened to.
Now the same is happening with Jimin’s newly released album “FACE” along with main title song “Like Crazy” as well as pre-realeased “Set Me Free Pt.2”. All other songs equally amazing Including “Face-Off” & “Alone”. Jimin holds the record as the First Korean and K-Pop Soloist to achieve this feat in Billboard 200 history! Jimin is also breaking records for being #1 branding marketing idol, every single month for now, for over 4 yrs, a feat never achieved before, and still ongoing! Thank you for a solid review of Park Jimin. He is a phenomenal artist who does not deserve the hate he receives. I am a 59 year old black female Army who lives in the United States. I love his work and the individual and collective work of each member and BTS. I am so proud of him and wish him nothing but success and happiness. I have tickets to Suga’s concert and I am praying that Jimin guest at the concert I am attending.

Me too, i had his voice in pied piper and couldn't believe that there was a human being on this planet with such a beautiful, hypnotising voice. I've been hooked on Jimin since that day as much as i hated kpop, Jimin's voice and dance made me give BTS a chance.
Sad part even his agency only gave him 10 days to promote his album while the others are given couple of months to promote their albums. Jimin was born for greatness and nothing is going to be able to stop him, the more they try to stop him, the higher his gonna fly. He's an Eagle and all the storms (haters) that charge at him, Jimin uses that pressure to elivate himself even higher. His not perfect because he's a human being but even his imperfections haven't stopped him from going out there and getting what he wants something that we can all learn from him.
Hey. I would just like to add, it was jimin himself who planned his promotions. You can clearly see that members themselves plan their solo debuts. Jhope and suga mentioned it in their documentaries. Jimin is most probably releasing another album before enlisting. So he himself might wanted this to have minimal promotion. Even suga didn't had lot of promotions. He had exact same promotions with an extra documentary. It's just his concerts which he planned way before, makes him look like the one having many promotions. If you think in that way, joon didn't even get the promotion jimin got. It's just how the members want it to be. Rm wanted it to be personal. Jimin wanted it to be minimal as he is releasing another album later on. He just wanted suga to have his time as he will be enlisting soon. I'm not supporting the company. But that comment questions jimin's plan on promotions. I think he did a really good promotion with minimum time he had. He shines brighter than a star in everything he does ❤.

Thankyou so much. I've always believed I'm Jimin. I first saw him on James Corden and Jimmy Fallon I'm June 21 and he stood out not for his looks but his personality . I dived deep into the BTS RABBIT HOLE and watched everything more than once from 2013 until now. I absolutely love 0T7, but for me, Jimin reached my heart and soul. Further to your beautiful words about Jimin who I admired since very begining I found BTS ... further to his story I would like to tell the story of my daugther ... she is the same age as JM ... she was born without fingers on her left hand, but in spite of that and all inner strugles she went through her life (the same as JM), she became a beautiful young woman I am proud of ... the top student during school time, good at athleticism, playing football and became a referee, she has the same pain in the neck and shouders muscles as JM, she finished primary music school playing drums and alt horn, graduated chemistry and studying management, through primary school she was protecting her gay male friend against bullying, she is humble and helps friends through hard times, she learned how to make ppl looking into her eyes and respect her not her hand, during study she worked as a waitress, animator, assistant in the office to earn the money to travel abroad (36 countries untill now), she has many friends abroad, speaks three languages ... yes, I fully understand and feel JM ... yes, everything is possible if you have a strong will and believe in yourself in spite of all battles you have to pass to succeed in your in way ... "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" ... fighting JM ... I am not streaming his songs, I am listening, if that means streaming ... love you 💜

But I also believe that for every hater there are millions and millions of people who love him. Huge vindication for Jimin though... #1 in Billboard Hot 100... He deserves the love from ARMY. Yes what you say is quite true (apart from a few small details, but I won't elaborate, others have commented on it) but it is essential to remember that : JIMIN IS ADORED ALSO AND ESSENTIALLY, BY MILLIONS PEOPLE WHO LOVE HIS MULTIPLE TALENTS, HIS WORK, HIS MUSIC, HIS VOICE, HIS PERSONALITY, HIS HEART AND HIS HUMILITY. HATERS HAVE BIG MOUTHS BUT LOVERS HAVE MORE STRENGTH! Jimin has always had to deal with haters from the beginning and especially since this invention of "ships" which did a lot of damage and discredited BTS and the armys in the eyes of the world (reducing these 7 wonders to stories of buttocks could only harm them!).
By creating his album, JIMIN knew full well that he would be expected at the turn and that the haters would slip into the slightest crack. He was well aware of it, as were we, those who loved him. we knew that this album (formidable vocally, artistically and visually) would be the target of fools and solostans and other couplestans.
The more active I am in this fandom, the more I realize that it is plagued by childishness, aggressiveness, stupidity, hypocrisy, dishonesty... I who thought that the fans would be like their 7 idols : respectful, upright, kind... what a utopia ! Here, it's every man for himself and we step and spit on the other to promote his favorite member. This is pathetically the sad reality.
And, HIBE doesn't do anything about it. Sometimes I feel some members even subtly support those haters who are their own solo stans. How tragic it is!

Thank you for putting this out there. I have often been criticized for saying that Jimin didn't have many vocal lessons or that he was criticized for his few mistakes he made at the beginning of his career. They are now even criticising his encore for singing off as people are screaming and yelling louder than the music itself. He is a beautiful person with a lovely and gentle personality we should protect our Mochi not hurting him because it's easy. He may be a gentle and soft looking person but he is a strong person as well, so be aware that he will not fall as easily as those that hate him think he will. Park Jimin is a No.1 Billboard artist and no one can take that away from him.

Thank you for doing this. Jimin is the most amazing young man I have ever seen. He gets so much hate and denegration constantly, every time he does something theres nothing but complete sabotage to destroy it. Some even come from the fandom itself, they refused to support him because of different reasons each time he has done a collab, and now even with his debut. If you go on anything about jimin you are going to find slander of some type from his haters , and the new fans believe it and hence their recruiters become larger. Jimin to me is a beautiful warrior who has nothing but love in his heart and he has right up to this very minute never strayed from being loving , kind, gentle and alway caring about someone other than himself. I cried when his album came out, his whole heart and soul is in it and to see that is hard for some of us. I pray every prayer for jimin and his happiness to continue to prevail.jimin is the most artistically beautiful entertainer in every single way, his vocals are like an angel. He works hard to present everything so meticulously and perfect to draw us into the complete story of what hes singing or trying to convey. When I hear the hidden song in his album its with tears because it feels like he just loves Army so much and he never wants us gone. At last, someone made a validation of multi-talented Jimin. Even at this moment, HYBE failed at protecting Jimin from unfair treatment of Billboard. The company didn't even acknowledge that shares of stock went up again because of Jimin's solo album.
I hope that loyal Army will continue to support his album now that HYBE is focused on making it to Grammy through JK's Collab.

I don’t understand how people cannot love this man . Jimin is very talented yet very humble . He is a hard worker and a wonderful person who does but deserve all the hated he’s getting . He beat all odds with almost no radio plays but with the support from ARMY and non Army as well . He has conquered the world and he has nothing else to prove . Thank you for this video. I adore Jimin even though he could be my grandson as I am 69 year old Native American. I think he's a phenomenal dancer and his voice is so unique. Through his struggles, he kept his sense of humor and didn't lose his ability to have fun with his members. He makes me happy and I hope he never gives up!!!! And yes!!! I am SOOO proud of him!!!

This man is so talented and very captivating. I’m really mesmerized everytime he performs, a total performer. He is so hardworking in everything he does. I'm so happy that he has achieved his personal success with his music album and all that he has worked so hard for. As for the haters? Those anti fans who never have a good thing to say & make threats, lashing out, sitting there passing their judgement without right, against a literal stranger not in their acquaintance, in their misery for no good reason other than their own poor vision of themselves? If it's not Jimin they slander, it will be someone or anyone else....those individuals make the world a darker place, feed on fear, on doubt, on what they perceive as weakness....I don't believe hatred is what it's all about~ it's LOVE. I believe love never dies and it's contagious, it's easily spread by thought or deed~ And I am sorry that people who hate don't see it that way & choose negativity for their lives. Thank you admin. Better late than Never. I got emotional listening to your story about Jimin. Although I've known these facts then, I can't stop myself from getting emotional. Learning what he had been through just makes me more prouder rather proudest to have stan this man. He beats all the odds that came along his way and now he's reaping the fruits of all his hardwork. This man deserves the Glory and Honor.

Thank you for making this video. It infuriates me to know that Jimin was so mistreated. I still can’t wrap my head around his agency not providing him with a vocal coach. I remember Jimin saying he eventually was provided with a coach but by this time, they were touring. I like all the members and I’m looking forward to the band becoming a unit again in 2025 BUT Jimin is the one I’m drawn to and most interested in learning more about. I find him totally fascinating, such a beautiful and unique voice. Can you share the links to the information you use? Thank you 🙏🏽
He wanted a vocal coach but either cos they were struggling, they couldn't afford one for him.... or they were at some point thinking they would put him in the rap line and shortly made him try rapping. Somehow, miraculously, I guess his voice shone enough that he could be a part of the main vocal line. It was rough to throw him out there without musical training or vocal training though.

You're so right. I've been saying for so long that people look for others to blame and never take responsibility themselves. Most visible case-in-point? Donald "dump" Trump. Park Jimin is an angel on earth with more creativity and talent in his right-hand baby finger than most artists. His dancing and vocals are both fluid, light and beautiful, and he can display more emotion through both than most other artists I've seen in the past 50 years put together. He deserves the world and more and I'll say it again: Jimin is too good for this world, yet thank God I get to share time and space in this life with him. He and BTS have made me a better person. Haters 'gon hate, but that energy would be better served trying to live a life worth more than the sum of their anger, envy, hate, jealousy, insecurity and pitifulness. 1. Introverted is possibly a bit of a wrong label when it comes to Jimin. He was class president for many years, involved in many different after-school activities and, from reading statements about him, a very social, outgoing and liked boy. I think he might just have been a bit shy with strangers. And might still be.
2. It wasn't a matter of being kicked out as such, but whether or not Jimin could adapt to the idol way of doing things in such a limited time frame. BH knew they had a rough diamond in their hands with an already impressive skillset. And even if Jimin didn't make it with BTS, he would have elsewhere for sure. Because, despite everything, no vocal lessons etc, he debuted as the main dancer and lead vocal (ahead of both Jin and V). And that says it all.
3. Jimin already knew hip-hop, it was his 1st love. He joined a dance academy and competed / won several hip-hop dance battles. He was so good that the academy waived his fee when he couldn't afford it. He only started to learn contemporary because Busan Art High School didn't have hip hop as a subject, and that was the school Jimin wanted to go to.
4. Jimin was very popular from the start, in particular with I-army. A lot of yearly years material show this clearly. With popularity comes jealousy and hate. A lot of false rumours started to spread about him, and people started to look for even the smallest things to use to discredit him and put him down. Make him look less. This continued ad nauseam over the years, and because of this, some of it has even become "facts" in the fandom. It's the "repeat something often enough and it will become the truth" thing.
Karma is a bitch.
Watching old videos, it is so clear I-army loved him. Also, I think generally there was an allure to him that ppl were drawn to. They have said from the beginning that "Jimin just knows"..... what to do I guess when on stage and in front of the camera. He has always excelled and he is such a survivor....which is why the many false narratives floating around the internet is bizarre.
He may not be introverted, but he has claimed that he is extremely shy and finds it difficult to make friends. He isn't someone who jumps out there in a new situation...... which is a little sad cos in this type of industry.... I can only imagine that u won't make friends without putting yourself out there to some extent.

I love Jimin and he's the one who caught my eye first in the group and the reason I decided to give BTS a chance. Looking at this video makes me so sad I'm actually tearing up because Jimin is a wonderful soul & human being it saddens me that we live in a world where people has so much hate in their hearts that they would send death threats, negative and very hurtful comments to someone who hasn't done a thing to them.They're not even saying those things to me personally but it hurts just as much or more because I know he doesn't deserve the treatment he receives, he didn't get to where he is because he was lazy no he is a very, very hard working person who gets joy outta making his parents proud, being on stage singing, dancing and making ARMY happy. Sorry I've ranted enough but to me Park Jimin is everything & I mean everything and I wish him nothing but happiness, love and to live a long life knowing how he made such a beautiful impact on this world with his angelic voice, big heart & unwavering love for his brothers and ARMY. Now that you have clearly laid out the whys...I really feel sicken to my guts why people would hate on someone that doesn't even touches you directly. Right ? If you don't like his singing, face or performances, just switch off your phone or tv set...that is how I deal with things that I might not like but are popular...now I can add the 1 + 1 from this interview and that and yeah, he feels that he needed to proof himself...
