Friday Night Funkin literally made me discover the entirety of Newgrounds culture. Pico, Tankman, ENA, Alien Hominid and Chainsaw Dad, Riddle School, Zone-sama, Ritz.... and especially Madness Combat, after watching the tricky mod I fucking binged every single episode of Madness Combat in one sitting, literally. And with the new tricky mod???? Holy shit dude, I could not be even more hyped. I am also starting to create things on Newgrounds, as I'm not a big fan of CZcams in terms of creator friendliness, but I have a lot of ideas to make video essays about things I am interested in, and such :)

That's the most likely suggestion I've seen. I had to look them up. Crazy that they had over a million subs, and still decided to nuke their channel. It's a shame that creators feel so uncared for on this platform

True, but when TSC first meets red, blue, green, and yellow, it’s because he sees a tab called “stick fight” and the sticks are fighting each other but they’re friends??? Like friend-ily fighting and at the end of the AvA episode, they prepare to friendly-fight again sooooo yeah they are friends but it’s easy to mistake them as enemies

The Tricky mod is such an amazing love letter to the Madness Combat series and I'm so glad it introduced me to such an amazing series. I now have a new love for all this old Newgrounds content and it's just so cool to know that all this new love is coming from going "man, this song is banger."
(note I wasn't even born when the first Madness Combat came out, so it's cool that I'm getting introduced to these classics)

@@tankdude9638 I just love that FNF and all the mods have kind of been a giant love letter to Newgrounds and bringing it back into popularity for younger audiences like me
Another little detail about the main menu for Tricky Mod! Every character that shows up has a variation of the menu music. One of the more outstanding examples probably being BF's variation, which has the "Go, Yeah, Go" from the original main menu. Tricky I think has the music that happens during cutscenes. And of course, Crewmate has "Among Drip" as his variation. There's a bunch of them for each character which is really cool attention to detail!
Its so cool to see newgrounds come back in the lime-light with the help of FnF, newgrounds and flash games as a whole was a big part of my childhood, and i love seeing stuff like this come back in the more public eye.
I would love to see a part 2 of this video, maybe can talk about the Salad Fingers mod when that gets updated, as that has only 1 song right now, when its done maybe add that to a video, as well as the Friday night Shootin' mod where ads a lot of pico school characters, right now has Nene and Piconjo so far, with Piconjo being a pretty recent update

Actually El Chavo is very old Mexican show that wasn't a cartoon before. The son of the main actor made it but banned a character who's was that daughter of Ramon in the cartoon because they had a problem with the actor. So ñoño and popis takes her role from the original episodes

I just wanna say thank you to the fnf devs and the community, because of them I was introduced into newgrounds I was born in 2002 so newgrounds wasn't a thing I fully understood besides it had some cool games on it sometimes. Now because of it I've gotten into so many series and back into others like riddle school which I haven't looked at in forever. So thanks FNF devs/community
FNF didnt introduce NewGrounds to me, but it really plunged me in, I knew of all the big stuff on there for a while, Tankman, Pico, Salad Fingers, Henry Stickmin, Riddle School, and ofc Madness Combat. But apart from Henry, Madness Combat, and kind of Riddle School I wasnt really involved in anything. FNF made me remember those random things and truly enjoy them

Love that little meow Easter egg on the tricky mod as it's in reference of madness combat accelerant when tricky went into his reddish spirit form and I one scene when tricky tries to enter a door to kill hank he meows and then obliterates the door. Love the detail

Its crazy to see how many creators i use to watch as a kid had their stuff on newgrounds.
That line you said about the next two songs in the Henry mod losing the Stickmin identity, there is a reason for that
Spazzmatica is not even kidding a royalty free track by Kevin Macleod and Chase I don't even know but like Midnight I'm guessing it's most likely (considering the quality of this mod) just a random song the creator plucked out to fill in space
There's like over a million Among Guys mods and cameos and Henry doesn't have any notable mods in the game besides this one, and it just really doesn't capture anything about Henry besides the name and surface level references
It just uses tropes in mods without any thought put into them like Henry getting angry for some reason, awkward dialogue and really bad charting (which was the only reason the mod was withheld and not any other reason suprisingly), the cameos are way too abundant and yes thats another trope in mods that's overused most of all being here
There's so many of them you can't even focus on Henry and Boyfriend properly why is Pico even there
It really depresses me how this is the only noteworthy Henry mod there is and this is the quality of it
At least my main man Phil Eggtree's mod is pretty good, it actually captures the spirit of his series and isn't complete garbage
Something interesting is that in the tricky mod when we see the auditor it apears in the computer the eye sing that Hex gets in his last fase when he says that he has a virus

I remember watching madness when I was like 10 when stickpage was still a thing, I had no idea that it was still being worked on and I thought it ended on around the 5th installment.

In the Henry mod, the glasses unknown character is actually Quico from the latam show El Chavo del 8. Specifically the animated reboot in a scene where Quico is all decked out and with sound equipment behind him. The inclusion of that specific design probably comes from the memes within the spanish speaking comunity featuring said scene.
There is also a FnF mod featuring characters from the show including the protagonist Chavo as the playable character.
For some reason or another I was also shocked when I saw mat pat reference your channel
