One of the best lumafusion start up videos thank you !!!
Best video on CZcams about LumaFusion software for beginners.Thank you for most informative introduction to LumaFusion
You're very welcome!
You're an actual legend mate, your tutorial is heaps easier to follow and practical than Lumafusions own vids! Many thanks, you have won a follower

Best intro I’ve seen to date for luma. Thank you!
Even though this is for an older version of LumaFusion, this well organized video has been very helpful to me.
I am on LumaFusion 4. I have only been using the app for a couple of days. And, as I said, I found this tutorial extremely helpful.
Thank you, Simon!

i really found this helpful. it is my first couple days into this journey of making and editing film. working on my first edit ever right now as a first time user of luma fusioin and this video is the best one i have found yet. basic understanding is always the hardest part to solidify i feel. just becoming familiar is very difficult and is only aided by practice an pushing through the struggles. thank you for helping beginners like myself get a grasp of what is going on.
Thank you for the most informative introduction to LumaFusion I have yet encountered. And I have yet to come across a more silken, stress-free narration. I don’t think I need to watch any other tutorial after watching this. I am literally entranced!
Best lumafusion vid I’ve watched. Thumbs up.
Incredible work on creating this tutorial!
Great Tutorial, I’ve already been using LumaFusion for just a few and still learned some great stuff here! Love how you explain things! Thanks!!
Best tutorial ever, thanks!
Superb and comprehensive review and excellently paced. Thanks and stay well.
Thank you! I learned a lot from you 🙂
I have been using lumafusion for nearly a year now, but even I learned a few tips and tricks nice video!
I shall be using this when my new iPad Pro arrives not purchased yet as my old 2016 9.7” pro is struggling even with iMovie and 4K . Many thanks for this tutorial. I can’t wait to get started. Many thanks , Fred 🇬🇧ps nice relaxing voice for teaching not like my old ‘ampshire drawl
The “Western Digital MyPassport Wireless Pro” external HDD allows you to preview clips in LumaFusion without downloading to the iPad. However, the whole video clip will be downloaded to your iPad, not just the content between the start and end point, once you’ve pulled the clip into the timeline. This all happens in the background, hope this helps. Great video, thank you.
Version four of LumaFusion introduced external SSD editing and storing. So absolutely nothing is being stored on the iPad.
I have a 4 TB Samsung Drive plugged in and it’s working wonderful with nothing downloaded to my iPad.
I plug the ssd drive into the iPad. And because I have a Magic Keyboard, I am able to plug-in the power into the keyboard itself - so I never run out of power.
Apple’s new Final Cut Pro for the iPad does not let you use external SSD‘s, so I am very pleased with LumaFusion!
I already know how to use LumaFusion as I’ve been using it for a while, but you are such a good CZcamsr I’ll watch it anyway!
yes! Any tips or feedback welcome :D
Thanks for this easy to follow tutorial.
Wonderful and so helpful ... thank you, bro!
Great job

Very useful 👍🏻
Very helpful!
great, thank you Gary!
Thanks for this video ,Still learning and have some little short movies in my channel
Great video. You took your time and explained a lot…bc I definitely didn’t watch the tutorial from Lumafusion.
Hey - really helpful video to kick-start a novice user - thanks, I'm very grateful! Some of the shots here make you look like you are in Germany or Switzerland.
Thanks Patrick. Glad it was helpful! Yes I am often in Switzerland and also live in London. 2 great places!
Just found you again mate so easy to follow than some of the smarty pants out there
Nice video 👍
Simon….no one else teaches as you do…..please do an update on the newest Lumafusion edition…..also include using a SSD now
I'm about to give up on this program!!!!😩
I’ve been using LumaFusion for 3 years already so I’m not a beginner, still I enjoyed the overview.
high praise thank you! Any glaring mistakes or omissions?
@@SiHorrocks There is a limit to how much you can cover on a 25 minutes video for beginners without being overwhelming , and I think you chose the right topics. Many people ask about Keyframes (what is it?), and I’m not sure if I missed it, but Chroma Key (does LumaFusion have it?) is a popular topic as well. There’s one thing that I noticed when you were talking about audio ducking. Master clips will lower the volume for Auto clips only. If you set the audio configuration of a clip to None, it won’t be affected.
@@ManantialVE good tips thanks
Can i apply transitions to multiple clips at once or I have to manually do each transition?
How do you save a specific clips settings so you can save it to use on other clips?
So do you choose a different frame rate at the start if you just want to slow one clip down and not the full thing?
Thank you for a helpful and clear tutorial, but it is little stressing when the music pops out klearly louder than you voice, sepecially for a preson with sensitive haring.
Thank you very much for making this video which helped me a lot to improve my skills I hope you make more videos like this and would really appreciate it if you can make a video on how to beat sync on game play montage Take Care God Bless you enjoy regards Sandeep Pakey 😚😚😚🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
is there a significant performance difference using ipad 9th gen vs ipad air 5 vs ipad pro 11 or 12 inch?
Great video! Is it available for Android? If not, is there a comparable alternative? Thank you.
Have you tried Kinemaster?
I’m a newbie just got LumaFusion and am wadding through your vids. This is a great vid. Thank you it’s very informative and easy to follow. I just recently got married and that’s why I wanted LumaFusion however I have three songs in the video which I have on cd and paid for in iTunes. My question is why I can’t use them in you tube. You said no copy right material can be used if you up load it to CZcams. Can you help me please? My family is stretched across the world and I want them to see it. Thanks.

Thanks very much very helpful thanks
Thanks for the in depth video, if I missed it, how do I add video and audio tracks? @12:46 I didn't see you use the "add".. or maybe you just dragged it and it created it for you. I'm new at Lumafusion but really dig it. Using the latest version on my iPad Pro 12.9.
Liked and subbed ✅

Hi George. They're created automatically when drag a file into the space you want the new track. Thanks & Welcome!
@@SiHorrocks Thanks!
Why is LF media so confusing.
1. If using an external SSD for all my files
Does my project reside on the SSD or still in Luma fusion?
2. I noticed on the iPhone under Help and Settings>Preferences>
There is No switch for External Drive Editing. ( like is does on the iPad)
Does this mean on the iPhone LF copies all the media into cache even off an external drive being linked ??
Thanks for any helpful info
I may be missing the obvious, but how do you fade up from black at the start of your timeline?
What is the max resolution we can upload for video? 4k?
on Android it can handle 8K video but can only export 4K. For iPhone or iPad I presume it can do the same
Looks cool. However when I'm thinking about editing on 10 inch display it's painful :)
actually not too bad. Of course it doesn't compare to a full screen (or screens)
@@SiHorrocks if you have a monitor, hook the iPad up to it And LumaFusion gives you the option to just have screen mirroring of the whole iPad screen or, have just the playback window on the monitor wast using the iPad for the timeline! I find it very useful 😊
You’ll get used to it, you’re brain will adjust, so all you have to do it adjust your attitude. Simple
It’s a paradigm shift. It’s different but has its upsides too
I'm doing it on a very tiny phone and I double tap the video in the preview window to expand it for review. Maybe doing the same will help. Also, with an adapter you can hook it up to a monitor or TV as well.
Thank you, but why does nobody tell how to insert starting picure. The picture that is possible to see in youtoube befor you open the video?
because it's not part of the editing process it's part of the uploading process: czcams.com/video/_zvK_tntOrs/video.html
My display is stuck on vertical and no matter what I try and search there is no information information On how to switch the user interface to landscape mode. It’s so frustrating I’ve went through every button and setting that I can find and I flipped and rotated my iPad in every direction.
Yet all the tutorials show a landscape view for some reason I can only view the interface and vertical.
How do I fix this?
has it always been stuck since you first installed?
@@SiHorrocks yes, am I just supposed rotate it or is there something in the settings?
I have this app. I can’t figure out chroma key🔑
good contents
