30:12 Felt bad for the Type 5's that whole time. Poor things have so much HP they can't even be put out of their misery fast enough.
They played so bad they deserved it, Skill had basically no support on the flank, they could have just pushed in and killed him, instead of sitting there and letting him dictate the terms of the engagement. A decent player in a Type 5 can pen a 279 fairly easily up close, because the Type is so much taller.

If I were a good enough player to complete the 279(e) missions, I wouldn't need the 279(e).

Actually, for getting this op tank you should nearly master some secrets in all types of tanks. This is the REWARD that you get after being tired of playing on shit types like arty and td 😌.
This tank could have 800hp and it wouldnt change its average damage that much
Yeah, I played this way with the PZ VII, showing the lower plate first, which is the correct way and the lower plate will get shredded into pieces by HEAT rounds. This tank is the epitome of stupidity from WG. It was very powerful but killable, whinners complained in the russian server about how bad it was and WG buffed it a ton just to satisfy those kids.

Actually a good idea to bring these tanks closer to balance a bit without nerf them and let’s be honest wg is never going to do it. 279 against t8 is just farming simulator with no 350 pen you can’t go thru it reliably which in t10 is not that uncommon.

@@changliu7346 its already balanced the only way to obtain the tank is to do missions that take a ton of time, kinda deserve the reward of being able to see 8's sometimes and stomp em into the mud
@@crazydude1190 That's not balancing. It's like saying a tank that has no weak spot is balanced because it carries less ammo. They should balance the two tanks and get rid of the bullshit way of getting them.
279e in t8 is effectively rigging battles if the other side does not have one.
If you skip ahead the whole video you will see 279e grazing on all the maps. Farming away. While all others have to wait for 279e to be done. When players ignore shooting at a tank, something is wrong.
So, Skill just made a video conclusively showing why this tank should be nerfed, along with the Chieftain. But WOT will never do it, which is why people will increasingly abandon this game.
What's worse is they give them to the sweats in the game. Just sucks

OP tanks like this is indeed the very reason to not play anymore. Theres other reasons as well. But stupid tanks is in the top 1/3 of the list

Watching Skill farming those Type 5 Heavies gave me flashbacks to the discovery channel.
Lion hunting Bisons, after a couple kills the lion secures his kills and the rest of the Bisons look on.
I managed to farm one these pretty good in its capola yesterday in my Caernarvon, for some reason our heavies didnt go to the heavy line, when I got there I realised why !
the 279 was bouncing sooo many shots from my team, but I managed to pen its capola about 6 times and make him back off, made my day :D
Well, you are aware that there are a lot of bought obj 279e and chieftains? The sad thing that even the worst players still have mostly good rounds in theses tanks. Especially in the 279e

That aside, this tank is ridiculous. Sure, you can kill it but considering how difficult that task can be in the hands of a good player, it's simply far, FAR too strong. But.......it will never get changed.
There should be no reason a 279e has tier 8 match making. It should be a tier 10 tank locked.
Your arms should be tired will all that farming! Good job skillz. That tank seems to be easy but also hard to play given you are the priority target

I got my Object 279(e) a lot easier than T55A - lol
Id imagine it's because u are 1. More likely to be a better player during the 279 campaign as you have played more and 2. Because you have a larger tank selection to flip around using a tank appropriate for each mission. 🤷♂️

i think this tank and the chieftan should be available in the tech tree. It's really hard to accomplish all the missions to get them and it only proves 1 thing in WOT. Only the best players are allowed the best tanks and they only get better results with them. Why is it only good players are allowed certain tanks and the tech tree lets you get tanks that cannot compete with them. It's a foolish concept and totally unfair as a player that wishes to get these rare tanks. WOT makes you buy premium tanks, making you believe they are just as good and after spending money on them, they nerf a few months down the road and introduce new garbage for sale which will only be nerfed a few months later also. Love your videos SKill. I believe if you play this game and want to spend the money on tanks, they should ALL be made available to the customers.....period !
this is just plain stupid. EVERY SINGLE GAME rewards the best players. Why would everyone get them? you can, by grinding hours and hours and spending lots of money. And premium tanks almost never get nerfed. Its literally the point of a game, to get good and get rewarded for that.

CS, Valorant, LoL, Dota, CoD, Fortnite, R6, Warthunder; In all of them you dont get an unfair advantage and the only thing that makes you better is skill. Shouldnt be the point of the game, to play the game? Giving the best and most experienced players the best tanks, is just plain stupid.
I still wonder to this day why they shrunk the capola when they added it to the game irl the capola is 3-4times the size. I think if I recall the same with the chief irl

What amazes me all the time is that 9/10 hit point on. Where as I am aming, fully aiming; not snapshotting.. my shots seem to go wide so many times - Not jalous here ;-)

My fav game I played in my 279 was on the map in the second game, solid tier ten, I took the same position you do at the start and their whole team went south, we lost and I only did 4k dmg I think, what was cool was that I elevated my plate and blocked over 20k lol

I do not play against this tank. Simply just surrender when i see it on opposite side. Tried to do damage on it but no one of tanks in my garage can't do a shit vs 279E. So i simply surrender, it cost me less nervs.
