if you dont like collecting the mushrooms something a lot of people don't know is there's 2 shops with 5 stock each that refresh every 3 days. Ones with Ashpazi found in Gandharva Ville (NPC has a doggo next to them cant miss it) and also the Aranara shop stocks both the wall lotus + mushrooms :) hope this helps! its how raised all my units that wanted those materials :3

I grew to actually like the "wait till xx:xx next day" things as part of the story, it's in essence the same as if the game wants you to travel to the other side of the city, just in this case you travel in time. It's kinda like starting new chapter. Also, it's way better than if the game wanted you to wait for such period of real time. If I'm in the mood, I actually don't skip the time and go to do some exploration instead because the time naturally flowing in the game counts towards it. And time is important topic in the story of Genshin anyway.
