These UGVs need a combined arms concept with support vehicles which can tow, rearm and refuel ground drones. Ofc also small mortar carriers, Signal Relais ugvs and more dedicated vehicles, instead of slapping on loitering drone launchers on a direct fire support vehicle. Also the armoring must be increased, so they become more survivable. They urgently need troops to advise them more closely on what is needed. I feel the engineers have too much freedom atm.

Can someone woth an engineering or design background explain to me what the advantage, or purpose, is of all of these polygonal barrels and fluted barrels on the larger gun barrels being produced today? Is it simply a weight reduction thing with the fluted barrels and a stregth thing with the hexagonal or octagonal shaped barrels? Its just something interesting ive noticed on lots of new large guns and cannons and have been wondering what the advatages are over the traditional round, cylindrical barrels.

I think the small unmanned ground attack vehicles with caterpillars look a bit useless. if they get stuck or like fall over it's just ridiculous and it could be a problem if some lives depend on a working vehicle
Yes but imagine not wanting go risk the lives of more people maybe trying to get into a difficult place. Then being able to use the vehicle more aggressively then before thus possible increase in combat effectiveness, could even have room to hold troops to get people out etc etc
