I discovered The Struts because of Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, but they really are amazing!! They are like those old rock bands and the singer gives me Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger vibes! Finally a good rockband in my generation

I know, but there needs to be a critical mass of us watching for new bands. I had just stopped paying attention because I don't like the newer bands that are dark and dystopian or that get the "wa wa wa" screechy guitar sound. I would check in occasionally and know those bands weren't for me (I am NOT saying they are bad --some people just love those bands--I just don't need more darkness or dystopia in my life! Okay, so I love Black Sabbath, but how can I not love Tony Iommi?). I follow Foo Fighters and Queen and saw the Struts on Jonsey's Jukebox with with Taylor Hawkins. I realized there were new bands out there. So, I think things may be gradually building. I have been paying attention and maybe others are too. I have heard the Struts interviewed--they are really tired of almost breaking out, I think. Hope it breaks for them! I am planning on going to see them in October.

Fun fact: Zandra Rhodes, who dressed Freddie Mercury, is the same person who designs Luke’s clothes. More reason to us seeing him as a young Mercury.

Rocked out at their concert in St. Louis a few years ago and will be seeing them again in July. I am a concert goer and they are one of the most energetic and entertaining bands that I have seen. Love them! Lead is definitely a cross between Jagger and Mercury.

How the hell aren't these guys more popular? Only found them out recently after Dave Grohl spoke about how they captured the crowd as the opening band whilst on tour with the Foo Fighters!
These guys make me think of a modern day Rolling Stones. Obviously they don't sound too much like them, but they've got a good rock and roll sound, and the frontman definitely has that Mick Jagger attitude

Yes, I see them much more as a modern day Queen. Luke dress and looks like Freddie Mercury and even has some of his stage mannerisms. I am not being negative! Those techniques give him great stage presence! They work! I love Luke! They also ride the boundary into rocky pop--very accessible!

Saw them in September in Dallas, was floored. Had no idea what I was walking into as they were the opener. I am hooked and will go see them every chance I get. Damn, good band.
