Hi there! I am completely new to RC Cars in general, although I've fiddled with electric children's toys RC cars before. Would this buggy be a good pickup? (I intend to drive it around casually for fun maybe a little bit of speeding on empty roads but probably won't be racing) Thank you!

All these RTR models come with glow plugs so I just keep whatever is in there. When/if I replace one I go for medium plugs
Bought the HSP rally car recently and apart from the plastic spur gear stripping its been perfect. The vx18 engine is so easy to start and all I've done is lean the high speed needle off. Agree totally about optifuel.
The best thing about HSP is parts are available EVERYWHERE!
Probably helps that I'm not fiddling too much ( learning nitro)

Other then adjusting the trim a bit, do you adjust anything with the engine, or was that factory setting for first start up

Yeah, much easier to start than a HoBao engine I had. I gave up and fitted a Fastrax .21 Enduro.
Oh no dude the 18 force engine is not too bad ^^ + 2.25 HP for 3cc is enormous ^^ imagine a 3.0 litre car engine with 2250 HP haha !

I screwed up the LSN .. runs good on higher speed but terrible at lower speeds .. fumbled to much that screw (LSN) . im a beginner and overdid the tuning :( HELP ME!
Hey Josh, I bought a Hyper 7 on amazon a couple hours ago and should be getting it in a week. Is there a specific break in method for the Mac 28 engines or is any break in procedure good?
They all achieve the same result; I did do a video on this engine break in though a few months back : )

Hello josh question I'm using 20% nitro fuel in the torro and its running and tuned fine if I up it to 25% will I have to change low needle high or tick over settings.

I have exactly the same ,just named "flash buggy" from MHD but at 270 euro + glow + batterie from reciever + batterie charger + 2 litres of nitro etc it take + than 450 !!! , I lost 2 times the rear right dongbone but i fixed it ,it's new i have it from 3 week , i have a question : how much maximum time i can run the engine at maximum RPM ? i think not more 5/6 seconds no ?

Hello rc biker I'm new to nitro bought a ftx torro I have got it up and running seven tanks through it now go's well watch your tuning vids. A quick question when I break the car the engine cuts off so i upped the idle screw now fine but noticed when breaking the engine gives a lower tone let go and comes up to speed is this normal. Somebody told me to break then adjust the idle screw so it sounds the same as engine running but thought if you do this won't it make the engine run faster.
Turn the throttle trim on the radio down a bit, it'll sort it
I think I did this and engine running not so fast but when I was moving break and then it cut.

i drove my rc blast on the rood and after just 10 meters the radio cuts out and my car crashed in to a wall with full speed and killd every thing on the front( i hate fly sky happent 2 times now)

I do still have it but haven't used it since this video so cannot comment on reliability but all Nitro RC cars are the same, they require maintenance and repairs which is part of the hobby

Banggood sucks. Honestly. I was into the fpv scene a while back and TWICE they sent me defective products. Plus shipping takes longer than a month, usually a month and a half to two months. It's just not worth the hassle of going through with nonexistent customer service. Save your money.
