My visit to Sharples differ from yours. I went to New Plaza twice and Jomtien once. I bought as a takeaway to eat in the bar. Each time the fish was watery and just tasted under cooked, the chips not fully cooked with hard centres, although very brown in appearance. I only went back to New Plaza to be sure the first time was not a one off but it was the same as the first time. Tried Jomtien hoping it was better, but was the same, watery undercooked fish, this time chips looked really bad and the edges were black.. all got binned. Sad because many reviews are positive and they do look good on the plate
I just can not get my head around curry sauce on fish and chips. Lemon juice or Tartare yes and as for mushy peas they go on pies and pasties not fish and chips. I am Australian but I could not imagine eating those two things on fish and chips.

It was just liquid that's why I'm putting it down to dodgy stomach , normal colour now resumed lol. But still have dicky tummy.
