    If I don't have a thing to snap it off ,how would I break it off? Im an older lady and have to do things my self. Thank you.

      A flat table and something like a ruler may work but you suffer the “oh crap I broke it” curse way more without the tool. I’ve cut enough times to have it snap by hand just takes longer.

    I've done it that way and got tiny cracks in to then broke the dam things installing them

    What happens when you have a piece that is eight inches wide and not 3/4 of an inch? Your method won't work.
    Try a Dremel multi-tool with that rounded blade that comes with it.

    Hi did you ever try a carbide bladed knife I would think it would work better the ones used to cut formica?

    Crappy material, brakes so easy. I think is time to switch to chinese made.
