- Jenn Soto, Madeline Soto's mom, spoke to FOX 35's Hannah McKenzie this week about the disappearance of her 13-year-old daughter. "Maddie" Soto has been missing since Feb. 26, days after her 13th birthday, and hours after she was dropped up at school. Jenn Soto's boyfriend, Stephan Sterns, dropped Maddie near the school, but the girl never made it to class.

My boyfriend dropped her off at school.” The church is next to the school, yet she says they watched her cross the street. “Next door, or across the street”. It cannot be both. Absolutely. So many of these details just don’t add up. She begins by stating “we dropped her off” then it becomes “my boyfriend dropped her off”. The vague and mixed up details of this woman’s story really make it appear as though she’s covering up for this monster she calls a boyfriend.
@@rjules1083 I didn’t want to believe this, but you are correct. When the story switches, something isn’t true. The two stories are completely different. She did not contact police until 8:00pm. I have worked in the schools here as a sub. The “ car kids”, or “parent pick ups” are monitored by teachers to make sure the designated, on file parent or gardian gets the right kid. Once this is done, we go on to other responsibilities that must be done before the next day. So no, the schools do not close in a jiffy flash, once the pick ups are done. I know most schools do not close for at least two to three hours after the bus students are finished leaving. Most times closer to five pm daily. Just nothing made sense. My hope is that the female chief, that was suppose to take the case, gets the case. The male Chief was just a dingbat who parroted every word the mom said. I have mad respect for law enforcement, but the Osceola Chief knew exactly what the mother said, verbatim, but nothing about the case itself? Insanity! Really!

The church was actually on the other side of the TOLL ROAD 417. (so a large wide expressway 70 mph traffic). I looked on a map and it looks like the road goes under the toll road? But it wasn't a hop skip and a jump from the school, by any means.

If my teenage daughter was missing my whole family would be hysterical and have NO time for interviews unless it was to make a DESPERATE plea to ask EVERYONE to find her to be sure that as much ground was being covered as humanly possible. She is way too calm here. The thought of a child possibly suffering or even to have run away would be terrifying

I have to disagree. Stephan was listening to Jennifer so he could match her story. Make no mistake, Jennifer is the boss. Her house, her daughter, her bedroom, her rules. When she wanted Stephan to leave he left, when she wanted him back he came running. He was gone for 2 months. She called and he came running. She allowed Stephan to have Madeline so she could control Stephan.

She never was dropped off at school the police said but mom said, "Monday morning we took her to school. We dropped her off close to school, across the street from a church, (A lie according to police) , She crossed the street, um, and walked to school. What we thought walked to school, um , my boyfriend who drove her to school, drove away at that point. It was seen on video footage that she hung out in the parking lot of the church for a few minutes. (now police saying , that can't be determined), and they got up and walk towards the school, but she never made it from that walk, and that was around 9 am she got up. Uh, she never made it to school after that. Um it's right next to the school. I don't know why she didn't make it...." The mother does not seem hysterical or upset at all...she seems to be covering for her boyfriend... seems like a Susan Smith case...

Florida schools are known for having long lines for dropping kids off, often times parents will drop them off close by and they walk the rest of the way. It is very common.
