- End of the season run to check and pull all of the traps before heading off overseas. I had a decent season other than having all my footers sprung and fur pulled by a couple of idiots.
Weather was colder than usual for that area with less snowfall than usual also. I'm looking forward to trapping a new area that I flew over a few times. I saw a fair amount of Wolverine and Marten sign along with a resident Wolf pack, so it should be fun to go set a new line in that area!

Great trapline series! I really enjoyed watching these videos and hope you continue to film your trapline adventures in the years to come!!
Thanks bud, plenty more to come. Canada and NZ trapping vids in the near future.
Amazing to get that wolverine in the tree snare set!
Thanks bud, it’s something I’m working on. I’ll let you know when I’ve got it perfected 😂👍
Nice catches. I've never seen a wolverine trapped in a tree. You need to follow up on those theives. Game cameras in the future & report it to the warden. Bloody scumbags.
Do the fur buyers complain about the snared fur? Has to be a ring, isn’t there? Loved seeing the success snaring wolverine. Snares are sure a lot cheaper than financing a thief’s trap line with four pound steel traps. People used to die for that stuff. Not that long ago. Congratulations on your catch.
No, snares generally don’t damage any fur. General etiquette goes a long way, people died for a lot less back in the day. Thanks dude
I used snares on spring open water beaver. They are SO easy to snare on the bank then. They would be waiting on the bank, usually sleeping if I came on them quietly. But it put a ring on the pelt so I had to quit doing that. I am told the guard hairs get brittle in the spring. Again, was fun to see snares working on wolverine, and nice to know you can do it without fur damage. Thank you.
"...didn't have the decency to reset the trap" "...a beauty" The 'dead-zone' is not inclined to listen for, let alone hear Lifes' subtlties.
Great video and way to end the season with a couple nice wolverine. Sorry to hear you had to deal with someone stealing animals and gear. I was surprised you had those issues in a fly in area. I have dealt with my share of it on the road system.
just a couple of wannabe trappers....women trying to be something they're not....no big deal ,ill go elsewhere and leave them to catch their fingers on a super cold day
Nice video mate. That's a bummer about the fur thieves.
Is it too cold to use trail cameras to catch the trap thieves? Thanks for the videos.
Bummer about losing the wolverines. Hope you reported to the troopers.
Thanks
Fur stolen by none other than wannabe Wonder Woman 👀😀 iykyk
Does he know who the thief is?
Call game wardens as thats a serious thing messing with traps. Set up game cameras and get them or a bear trap about 3 feet before actual trap set 😂😂😂. Old 1800s toothed bear trap, the type to take a foot almost off your leg😂😂😂
Did you confront that thief?
It's all old hat, now. Years ago, they trapped etc. All out of date, given the gradual destruction of what was the wild. Just an indulgence.
Best way 2 keep your gear is use a impact driver and a 4 inch leg screw threw chain. If they don't have bolt cutters it will be there when you get back
Hi Hope you're doing well
We have been working on high-quality boots for years and boots made from environment-friendly material are our priority. We are going to release an upgraded rubber boots.
We think the waterproof & anti-slip boot will be a great helper for when you work outdoors.are you interested in testing boots? Thank you😊
If u know who is screwing with ur line, why don't u confront them? Or hide trail cams and turn them in.
