//42 flow pro is probably my fav add-on and has given me a new side-hobby to develop widgets. Great video as always and an honor to see my sim rate widget on your channel. :). Hopefully your video will convince people to go for pro.
And what a fantastic widget you created. Pro is a must for PC MSFS users.
Once I found out what your widget was I realized it was the 1st of only a couple a friend had me download for it before I even knew how to use Flow Pro! Which is almost precisely the same low skill lever user I am of the program still as I only recently reinstalled it so I could start learning it. I'm always behind the group in the livestreams I fly in, or something will cause me to have to start over. So this tool is going to get plenty of use from me so I thank you Wasabi Dad!
Finally I bought the Flow essential for the Xbox. It came sooner than I expected. 😁

I'm really happy to find your video about this Huddison! Even though I am but a rank nookie aka beginner that bought it a couple months ago and installed it.
Then didn't get a chance to fly and when I did I couldn't even figure out what was going on at 1st lol! Finally found its icon then shut it down and Uninstaller it!
Since then I've seen and heard enough good things I decided it's past time to start educating myself enough about it to get my $$ worth out of it. I fly in VR so hoping its as useful in that mode as on 2D mode. Thanks for sharing your expertise with us!!!
It's something I use in the majority of my flights and 100% happy with my own purchase of it.
Fun fact, you can scroll on some widgets to adjust them (like AP heading, altitude and VS)

They need to add a “transparency” adjustment in settings. I like to have the wheel pin in the upper corner, so being able to make it more transparent would be awesome
That's a great idea.
I've been through all three versions. I suggest just getting Pro and save yourself some trouble. Definitely worth it.

Awesome addon. Being able to switch servers without having to pause the sim is so useful, and being able to select weather presets without having to endlessly scroll through a list that cant be sorted alphabetically is an absolute game changer. I also love the fact that I no longer have that annoying handlebar arrow thing that appears when I move the mouse. That little arrow has ruined so many screenshots lol.
One thing you didn’t mention (and it looks like you haven’t tinkered with it yet) is the ability to customise nameplates. This makes flying on multiplayer so much more pleasurable, as the default nameplates are so big and intrusive.

Excellent product. I've got to get this. I wonder if you can add a crude autopilot to plane that doesn't have autopilot. The simrate feature is fantastic. Sometimes I can't get back to normal rate. I'm one notch up or down. Great video.
You likely can add autopilot to aircraft that don't have the SP systems; I sometimes do that in the C-152.

Have you put the custom widgets in your Community folder? Ensure you don't have a double folder inserted in there (our Discord will be able to help you with this).
Can't wait for this to come to Xbox. WASM is coming soon, so let's hope this will appear on the marketplace.
I reckon it'll come to Xbox soon after SU12.

//42 have apparently submitted Flow Essentials to the Xbox Marketplace. I believe they are just waiting on Asobo to add it now.
Hey nice video. Liked. Could you tell me how did you get the simrate to adjusted automatically from x1 - > x4 -> x8 (as if you had a shortcut on your keyboard). Thanks
Check the default keyboard setup in Controls Options - there should already be keyboard shortcuts for Sim Rate.
I finally purchased this product - Pro version, but I can't find the Bug Up widget. I wonder what happened.
Hmm yes, I can no longer find it on the Flow Discord either; it might be because it was a .zip file and perhaps//42 wasn't happy with that (?).

Hi Huddison, Great helpful video. I just have one question? With Flow Pro, can you use it to play the flight replays? I cant seem to find this widget to add? And also, where is the record and play function for the replays. Many thanks. C Davis 😉
Hi, you can likely integrate replay apps into the Flow wheel; I'm not personally aware of any replay widgets.
Thank you for another great video. Found your backup of your Flow Pro settings and put them on the desktop. Ran FlowShare in the background and tried to restore from your backup but nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thanks again.

@@Huddison Yes, but when I tried to create my own backup nothing happened. I can see your copy on my desktop but when I click on restore it greys to suggest something is happening but when I close and reopen Flow Pro my wheel is unchanged and the Backup and Restore options seem live again. I'm baffled! Thanks for the quick response.

@@Huddison Right, finally got it working. I was in Full Screen mode and Restore will only work in Windowed mode where you can select the file to restore and click on Open in the explorer window. I managed to restore your file but it only contained the opening wheel and none of the other settings you were demonstrating in the video. I wonder if this is a fault within Flow Pro. What do you think? Thanks again for all your amazingly helpful work.
Anyone understand what a "ghost wheel" is, i cant seem to find them once i create them
Is it possible to bind Buttons for particular Camviews like Chaseplane? I have test it, but it don't work. I only can choose it with scrolling. The standard Camviewlist is to long.
Not so with Flow yet I as far as I know, but I've heard it's in the works.
Keep an eye on Community Widgets on the Flow Discord: Somebody may create one along these lines.

Fingers crossed you might be able to help me.
During Flows installation and subsequent testing I've managed to remove both Flow and the default toolbar from MSFS.
Any ideas how I may get the default toolbar back in order to get FLOW back up and running ?

Check your keyboard settings in Controls Options:
You TAB key (far left on your keyboard above Capslock), should be set to 'Help Menu' by default.
This should bring up your Flow wheel when pressing it in the sim - click on the Settings Cog in the Top right and you should be able to enable your toolbar.

After adding P42 flow folder in community folder, custom toolbar is vertical. Flow is not running... Can anyone help?
You shouldn't have to add the folder manually - where did you buy it from?
Had a kye bound to open it on my old HOTAS, but now I can't find an option to bind one on my new one. I looked in the settings, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and still can't do it. Any idea?
The binding you're looking for is in Controls Options - Menu = 'Help Menu' (you can also search for this by name in Controls Options).

I found Flow will make small airplane battery life drop from 100% to 0% in few mins. And then the electrical device would be shut down.
You can refresh the battery, but it start drop again.
Need to do any thing to avoid this?

I've not yet encountered this issue.
I would check that the key/button you have bound for flow is not bound to a battery/electrical function (check in Controls Options).
The button call: “reset battery “. The number of the percentage start to drop from 100 to 0. Click the button will set the count down back to 100. Really don’t know what happen.
