Jimmy Glass should have been number 1. Carlisle wouldn't exist now if he didn't score that. His goal literally saved them
Thank you I’ve finally found a fellow blue
Definitely the best football moment but not the best Soccer Saturday/TV moment because it was just an bloke on the phone 😂

Jimmy Glass, the unsung hero of Carlisle United. The man literally saved the club with that goal
I still get goosebumps every time I see/hear City's last minute winner... What an end to a season.
Plastic club

03:35 Man City-4 York-0 in Division 2. How times have changed.
You spotted that too? 😄
+Holdyour Plums Remember it well, it was in the 98/99 season. The season where we scored 2 goals in the last 5 minutes in the play off final to eventually beat gillingham, almost as good as the aguero moment
Tom Smith Nice one. You've moved on a long way from struggling to beat Gillingham.
Good luck with the rest of the CL..!!
+Tom is that the only way City can win a game? by scoring two goals in the 90th minute?
Tom Maroney certainly seems like it, we're nicknamed the "soap opera club" for a reason. For as long as I can remember we can never do things the normal way, always making it incredibly tense in games we should win
That guy at Brentford v Doncaster was 💯% a Brentford Fan 😂😂😂
Fuck that game like
@XxWill-JCxX PORTSMOUTH TILL I DIE!!
Being a Watford boy, I will always remember Deeney's goal v Leicester. It was unbelievable to see and absolute pandemonium ensued. I just remember nobody wanting to look when Knockaert took his pen, and then within a split second we look up and it's down the other end and Deeney banged it in. Then everyone just charged onto the pitch even fucking Zola couldn't stay on his feet. May not have won the play-off final, and since then Leicester have made miracles by becoming PL champions but that day was unforgettable
I love how Paul Merson got the City game, I think it was meant to be.
that man city win wasnt even that good.. watford should of been number one; meant more to people
I support Watford too mate, and I have to agree. One of the greatest moments in our club history. But on the world stage, I think this was incredibly special.
it wasnt even like out of extreme odds! you could of easily won against qpr!
I don't support Man City. But the circumstances that were at stake, it was incredible for them to win the title at the last moment.
what stakes? a win against qpr.. should of finished it off earlier
Jimmy Glass Legend
Workington lad here. With Reds being shite I also follow them
VALIS Machine yep
Cufc
That City goal still gives me goosebumps eight years later. I'll never forget that moment the ball left Aguero's boot, just yards from where I was standing, and it felt like the entire stadium held its breath until the back of the net bulged. A moment I never thought I'd ever see in my lifetime. Although I'd argue Dickov's goal in the 99 play off final was probably more important, as that one saved us from the doldrums every bit as much as Jimmy Glass' goal saved Carlisle from extinction.
Wow 3 years on Leicester win the league
Wolves aye we
Ciaran Gaming yep we do
DINGLES
Pugmo yessssssssss
Dog heads
Nothing will ever be better than agueros goal in pl history 💙
I remember the Birmingham game. I was going absolutely mental with them as i had the draw on my 8 fold accum! Happy memories. God bless Soccer Saturday! Bring on next season!
I love the way Johnny Phillips was able to go mad and keep his composure at the same time.
Jimmy Glass the last minute goal that all last minute goals should be judged by, no higher stakes than the death of a football club.
City Blue Peter best moment ever club was basically dead
Was only the second goal we scored off a corner all season
What happened to Scarborough though? 🤣🤣🤣
@@minjusears defunct now
Daniel Hayes they are now in non league

wow scarborough were in the football league on number 3 lol
the jimmy glass goal relegated them and then they folded
TTCB what do you mean by folded? they still have a team
@@alawjack they reformed as scarborough athletic, the original scarborough went bust
UP THE BORO
Did i hear that right 2:55 ?
Who's call was it to sell the only goalkeeper they had ?
+jackie boy The only reason would be financial issues
TMLBSportsHD
Even so.
If you are selling your only keeper for the money you need to bring in a cheap keeper or atleast have some 17 year old kid to stand in goal
jackie boy I

I am a watford fan and if we hadnt beaten u then u probs wudnt have won the pl
My team was relegated from the football league in the last minutes of the season so I know what heartbreak Scarborough fans were feeling. However these were all highly dramatic moments which will probably never be forgotten,
Andy S and my teams about to be relegated from the football league 😂
I'm a Carlisle fan
Manchester City Agueeeererrrrroooo moment the best ever.

I work with a Carlisle fan, and whenever he mentions that goal he has the cheesiest grin in his face haha
My favorite teams always score the last minute goals! I love it!
When blues scored the equaliser at Bolton I went nuts. Such a great day.

The city game was one of the best moments known in English history 😂😂
Wow that city goal never gets old brilliant
Although I'm a Manchester City supporter, and the number one on this is my fave, I will never forget Jimmy Glass
Ill never get fed up of seeing alex "demento" fergusons face when they know citah have scored 😂
Aw Jimmy Glass....my favourite sporting moment ever
Born in Watford, Carlisle by blood. I don't mind people who seek teams like Manchester United for trophies, so used to hearing the same thing of 'Who are they? Why on earth would you support Carlisle?'. But I feel you'll only TRULY appreciate the passion of the game when you support lower league teams. And it's a proud feeling to have Carlisle and Watford side by side in this top 5.
Alun Hullock If you support a high class team doesn't mean you have no passion for the game
Alun Hullock they don't know the struggle of lower teams
Yeh coz right now we're shite getting beat by a team who's nickname r the glovers but away games the amount of fans wot travel to places even tho the miles away from teams
I was in tears when this Happned I'm a Scarborough fan
Watford fan with the pyro made my day!
Good Video
6:17 Of course Joey Barton gets sent off 😂😂
"They got love bites and everything!!!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jimmy Glass' goal - the greatest thing that has ever happened

Going to have to be something special to beat the last one. Amazing climax. In the end, that thumping at OT cost United dear.

I love all the soccer saturday boys, but especially Merse..... I think he's brilliant
The greatest away game I've ever witness, Doncaster rovers fan.

It's absolutely unbalevable jeff
As a Watford fan i will never forget that moment!!
And yet leicester end up in the premier league while your still in the championship im a leicester fan of course
+Tazza And you are both in the BPL...SO yeah...
Paul Mersons commentary for that aguero goal was better that Martin Tyler’s
Back when Brentford were in League One 😂
Doncaster go from low to high, sadly, chronologically, not in that order! Well, sadly for them, happily for me...KRO!
Soccer Special is the best thing on sky sports
Cheers Jeff
Cheers Alan
Man went crazy on the Watford one
ohhh rovers we love you
Wow Scarborough i remember those days. RIP Scarborough
I'll say Glass scoring for Carlisle. Scoring a late goal is dramatic enough but it's even better coming from a goalkeeper. It's also nice to see the 1999 soccer Saturday graphics. Aguero was dramatic too
And geoff who does the presenting is a hartlepool fan and we r rivals with them
Half of the video was Donny 🔴⚪️🔴
4:55 man getting wrestled by security bottom right
"they got lovebites and everything"
Jez merson , great eyesight
"They've got love bites and everything" Gotta love Mers
I’m a Birmingham city fan and I cried when we stayed up
So did i
UTV
I was there at Bolton (me being a blues fan) and my dad said we should leave and I said we should stay to the end. It was mad that the smallest player won a header to keep us up. I lost my dad for about 20 mins because he ran down 😂
How the villa was GUTTED at that caddis extra time goal 😏😏😏
wheres wba great escape?
No one cares wether WBA are in the Bol or. Not
Ebby mics Well us baggies do so you know shut up
Wasn't as good as ours pal. Kro sotv
J.L.T BRICKLAYING CONTRACTORS cunnet bpl table 20th west brom haahahaha
As a Tottenham Hotspur fan I would say man city the greatest comeback ever
That watford goal is better than aguero's, the fact they were facing a penatly against them. The fact the penalty was saved. The fact the then went and scored at the other end from that penalty. Unreal. Imagine being a watford fan? Many heart attacks that day.
Merson says "This is the most unbelievable drama I've ever seen"
Yet he was at Anfield on the last day of the 89 season......OK Merson, whatever you say.
Also against one of the strongest English teams of all time, mind you he probably can’t remember it
@@Weirdkid9022 Yup, who also hadn't lost at home for 2 years before that match.
