Nuneaton Borough AFC liquidated, voluntarily, due to debts of £1 million in 2008. Two years before we managed to get a 1-1 draw with Premier league side Middlesbrough and that was the Middlesbrough who finished runners up in the Europa League that season. We reformed a day later, had to change our name to Nuneaton Town FC and were demoted 2 divisions from the Conference North to the southern Premier League Division One Midlands. Thankfully we got back to back promotion to get back to the Conf. North in the quickest possible time and 2 years later were promoted to the Conference and a year after that, we went top of the Conference.

4:12 You mentiond The phoinex who's actual name is FC Riga not FK and they replaced the original club FK Skonto. The phoinex club was founded 2.years after Skonto was dissolved. And the biggest honour of Skonto was playing against Barcelona in the second qualifying round of the champions leaugue and loosing 2-4. And they also won 15. Latvian Virslīgas. Fun fact: FC Skonto academy actualy still exsists and was playing in the Latvian second division after merging with RTU FC- university football club but they didn't got the license to play in it this year. As speaking of FC Riga they almost qualified for Europa league this year after loosing in the last play off round 2-3 on aggregat against København. And they also have won the Latvian Virslīga and they are right now are playing in the old stadium of FK Skonto. The academy has played against the phoinex club once with the FC Riga winning 3-0. I dont blame you for not knowing this as Skonto is not a popular club and I am from Latvia thats why I care and also that is why my grammar is trash. Edit: FK Skonto was dissolved in 2015 not in 2004

Rangers died and the huns let it happen lmao
Mark Shlyshen Rangers were liquidated not dissolved not died none of that their contribution to scottish football still stand especially considering Celtic have the 2nd place for most scottish league titles so yeah
@@aydenkess6226 Yer club's deed mate.
Marc Shlyshen are Portsmouth dead? Is that not the same club?
Marc shlyshen I’m not even a rangers fan but okay you there is a clear difference between liquidation and dissolving/death of a club if you had any common knowledge you would know that
2015 steaua București. Won ucl in 86 vs Barcelona and were runner ups in 89
Loved the father ted feature 😂
Same
9:09 is it just me who thinks that looks like the Chelsea badge?
Oh yeah
Yes.. look like they were Chelsea of Romania :'(
who else found the background music too happy for a video mad by the irish guy
I can’t believe Dnipro were liquidated, they were Europa League finalists only a few years ago.. 😢
I didn't think I'd need to hear the Irish guy to pronounce Polish names until now
What about the Italian football clubs?
Cesena were dissolved in 2018.
Other clubs had to restart with different names because Italian businessman can't keep their pockets safe.
Lierse were dissolved in 2018 and they were way bigger than Cesena, it was the youth club of Romelu Lukaku and legend Jean Marie Pfaff
What part of limerick are you from cause I am from limerick.
AS a man utd fan how are they not there for 2014
🤦♂️
R.i.p Veracruz, and Chiapas 😢😢😢
Class video👏🏻
8 bit fan was the itabaiana guy
I remember going to see Limerick play in Thomond Park and im not joking when i saw somethings there were more people playing on the pitch than in the stands, especially bad in a stadium that holds 25,000 people!
I live in Limerick USA! Irish Guy have you ever heard of the Limerick to Limerick trip if so let me know
should do one with clubs that almost dissolved
You say belgium has alot of problems, but you easily couldve included Lierse (2018, last small team to win the league) and Lokeren (2020, 2 time cup winners at the start of the 2010's with a long history of top flight football, even beating johan cruijff's barcelona in their stadium)
Why do so many belgian clubs dissolve?
@@bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee just poor owner ship and the thing is that not a lot of people go and watch low league football, mostly the top 5 clubs anderlecht, brugge, gent, genk,... they just don't gain enough money to pay their debt :/
Do classic teams if their players had Ultimate team ratings for example Man United treble team etc.
North in the quickest possible time and 2 years later were promoted to the Conference and a year after that, we went top of the Conference.
in 2010 Chester Fc was refounded and currently plays in the National League North
5:20 - who was that 3rd director??
2009 should've been Estrela da Amadora they won the portuguese cup in 1991, had a brief stint in the CWC, and were a solid midtable team in the portuguese top flight and they finished in 13th in their last ever season
It should have been Inter Bratislava. 2-times UEFA Intertoto cup winners.
As Pole I am proud from the fact that polish club is on that list. By the way why do you think that Amica (sponsor's name which make cookers) Wronki (city's name which means small crows)?
I know that you only cover europe and some club across the world
but here in Indonesia, almost every year threre a team dissolve or merging with other club in top league
there a similiar like wimbledon, but this case they even move the club to another island (far away) rename and rebrand it
even there a case that club merging with the Police and Soldier
so we have Police team (Bhayangkara FC) and Soldier team (PS TNI)
lmao
The worst part is that clubs like AGOVV, Limerick FC, RBC Roosendaal, Bury FC etc. are dissolved while only around 500.000 euros in debt while clubs like Real Madrid and Barcalona are 500 million in debt.
Ertis (Irtysh) from Qazaqstan was dissolved in 2020 after winning the Qazaqstan Premier League five times
Is it me, or is Belgium mentioned quite a lot?
I know they techically still exits but AGOVV where the likes of Chadli and Mertens played dissolved their professional part of the club in 2013. And in 2011 RBC Roosendaal former Eredivisie club and KNVB finalist were dissolved.
Remember if Brighton stay up u gotta where an I ❤️ Paul Mcshane t shirt
Edit: FK Skonto was dissolved in 2015 not in 2004
Wow I saw a director of that belgian club called Chris benoit did anyone else notice that lol was not expecting that
3:45 also a nice badge haha
