You can use any sets or plugins you got on the set
But you will need external speakers for those new sounds to come out of

I like it.Compactkit7 works on 6 c batteries or power supply included but beware the power supply can break easily.I use the kit most every day and have bought some back ups just in case.

@@andrasiboti I’m assuming you mean the output to the speaker system?If so it’s the headphones out Jack and you will need a 1/4” out Jack

The Debut’s kick pad is too small, however I don’t know about the CompactKit

You can program the compactkit7 to have the hihat a double pedal and play like that.Debut kit has no sound editing
