Reminds me when my wife and I spent the night at a Motel 6 in Monterey CA. The walls were cheap and they "entertained" us for what seemed like most of the night. This was in May 1977 when we took our one and only trip to CA. We had a yellow 1973 Gremlin at the time and American Motors called it Mellow Yellow as a tribute to the 1966 Donovan hit.

To me this is Paul's greatest songwriting accomplishment. The lyrics tell a story and the music along with his soft voice make you want to close your eyes and picture the images he is describing

I saw Paul Simon in concert in the 70's. He had like 30 guitars lined up on stage behind him. All turned to the each particular song he would eventually play.
