Best Guitarist Ever Period ! ❤
No other guitarist can match David's magic
Guy Pratt is truly an amazing bassist ❤
This is going on my headstone: “He's not the worst, he's not the best.”
This is pink floyd in their musical prime in my opinion, what a performance by all members!!
Easily one of their most under-rated songs.
i completly agree also one slip
"Yet Another Movie" by Pink Floyd is one of the most mystical song ever created! Every time I listen to it, my hair in the back of my neck just stands up! For me, it is one of my absolute favorite song by Pink Floyd together with "Welcome to the machine". The best version of it, is ofcourse from the "Delicate sound of thunder" live album. I just love Pink Floyd. All the best from Johan in Sweden.
This is a perfect description of what I feel about this song and Pink Floyd. Thank you Johan Karlsson.
Great.this song is BOOM in mind!!!
I've always felt like both of those songs are basically Industrial songs but PF style. They're two of my faves of all time.
6:32 onwards, wow, those lights and tunes bring out so many emotions, so simple yet so deep.
This was the first Pink Floyd song that had a complete impact on me, I remember that in the 80's I liked to record radio songs on cassettes, and this sounded and fascinated me, they never said what group it was from, but I immediately assumed from his voice and style that was Floyd, it was the second song I knew from Pink Floyd, the first was the most played on the radio; "another brick in the wall '2". From there it would become my favorite band.
The best Pink Floyd years live. This song is magical. It sounds like something from the future.
David is a God of guitar and vocal... Music is magic...
🙆🙃😊
AFTER ALL THESE YEARS I'm seeing and hearing this for the first time. This is one of my favorite songs and I listened to it always at night many many years ago. Such a Gem
My favourite pink Floyd song ever
Semplicemente Spaziali
It's great! Don't tell anyone but I find myself listing to Momentary Lapse more than Dark Side ;)
This song is an absolute gem from the post waters Pink Floyd era. A haunting song with mechanical undertones sung perfectly by Gilmore.
One of the best songs for sure. And this show particularly is a hidden gem.
Thank you for not slapping down the "underrated" card...
I saw Pink Floyd 3 times; 2 (in the same week) for this tour, 1 for Pulse tour.
I'm a musician/keyboardist since 10 years old.
I saw lots of concerts.
I have to say Pink Floyd come from another planet.
This tune is so underated.
Great song.
Great sounds.
Great atmosphere.
Pure Pink Floyd.
Great
I was only 6. My folks were never going to let me go to this show when they came to New York.
No, they come from beyond the event horizon of this universe. Without Pink Floyd (I have been a fan for nearly 42 years) I do not think I would have survived the initial onslaught of my life with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelating Polyneuropothy. It was 4 years of hell with my wife kicking me out after the first four years. Pink Floyd soothed my soul...
Not underrated, underappreciated... Every time I play it for people in the PF universe they instantly smile at those opening drums and sweet memories flood back to the fore. Even my niece and nephew love this song. Their dad, who passed away nearly 7 years ago, loved early Floyd and neglected the third chapter of PF indoctrination on them. That fell to me after his death. I still play early and middle PF for them, I just make sure to play the Pulse Live and DSOT albums a little bit more...
You're goddamn right
"Delicate sound of thunder " for me is the best live concert, of Pink Floyd .
I thought I was the only one who likes Delicate better 😀😀😎😎
Delicate sound and AMLOR was a better album than people give credit for. They just like to bash on it because it kind of proved that Pink Floyd didn't need Waters
Pulse for me
Best concert ever!!!!!!
just a question, how many official pink floyd live releasing you know or you have? how can you compare this with what was before. floyd are floyd for what in 1967, and again in 1969 and again in 70, 71 i mean all video bootlegs and/or tv broadcasting, as at nassau coliseum 1970. then we have Pompei, a movie for theatres, how it was going at that time. we have nothing later till DSoT. so what we can ever compare? the wall live with this one? animals live tour with the whole dark side and wish you were here played on? are you totally joking? this one, venice, pulse and similar respond only to the new kind of sound of last years. last years began with digital era, with cd, with what was AAD or ADD or DDD, old declinations for today. but the thing was that one
Guy Pratts jumping like crazy always makes my day. Such a joy!
Delicate Sound of Thunder...the biggest live Album in Rock History
totally agree with you
Absolutely 100% correct.
"Yet Another Movie" is a great song. But then again, anything from David Gilmour is Great! "Comfortably Numb" is my favorite. Gilmour is genius!
HUGELY underrated track in their catalogue. Gilmour's work here is both orgasmic and tasteful. Astonishing.
It was the first song of Pink Floyd I listened to. My father opened for me this band when we were travelling years ago. It's my favourite song. My father died year ago and when I listen to Pink Floyd especially "Yet another movie" I always cry.
Almost 30 years ago when I 1st watched this on overused VHS with lousy sound and ever worse picture I wasn't thrilled 2 much about it, I had it on double cassette. Now I can see what perfection, as always, Pink Floyd was at any tour. And this song is one of most underrated PF songs and it has it all, lyrics, killer solo and story.
Amazing
Bang on.. same here also.. got into floyd 89/90.. so this for me is just awesome..
I had to rely on bootlegs to actually see the show instead of the badly edited concert VHS, so glad they finally released these gems!!!
This song literally gives me goose bumps.
Guy Pratt + musicman = perfection !
3:50
God!! That is a trip. Rick is amazing

@@viktorromero1753 tendría que estar pegado a Richard Wright, su suegro.
Rachel Fury was such a f%^king fox. 😘
This album was what my mate played for me when he first introduced me to weed at age 15. Life changer.
jesus, the quality is beautiful. thank you man. one of my fav songs from the best band and best guitar player of all time...
A true virtuoso with that strat. Dave is unreal.
They played for an hour in my back garden once.
All Hail that Trip.!!!!
Dark, grey, cloudy, mystical, shivering.......this song is all of that! Brilliant!!
I was at two of those shows at Nassau Coliseum, including the final one which was a late addition. The tickets went on sale just two days before the show because they decided they wanted to shoot more footage. I had seats just off the side of the stage for the last night and it was absolutely amazing.
FANTASTIC SOUND AND VIDEO QUALITY....THIS NEW BOX SET RULES !!!
Richard Wright incredible. Such an amazing composition and execution.
OMG the keyboards in this song! They've a kind of touch of Zimmer (see Black Rain OST) and Depeche Mode! And the amazing lyrics and the magic in the David's touch
Aparte de ser una de las mejores canciones de Pink Floyd, esta version esta para volar sobre las nubes .. es la cancion que mas me a echo visualisar atmosferas fuera de este mundo .
descomunal tema.... comparto
Amazing Song, amazing Guitar Solo !!! David touches the sky when he plays 💙🎸
The most atmospheric, ethereal song of PF from the Gilmour era, yet one of its most overlooked by the fans! The live version culled out of DSoT is 100x even more so. It's almost as bleeding emotion (if not more so) as "Coming Back to Life" and "High Hopes."
I am so greateful for this band, their music has been like my medicine, my drug? like my theraphy.
Thank you sooooooooooooooooo much for the video!!!!
with all my heart thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........ Veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! MUCH!!!!
This is pure GOLD.
I love David gets real into his solos and slightly lets go then snaps out of it and goes back into the serious David Gilmour 😂
The best or nothing....my pink Floyd... l love you....🎶🎵🎶🎵🥺😢😭🤧😏🥳👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
THE All time best band of all time at all times. &
I'm NEVER wrong! ...I thought i was wrong one time, but i was wrong.
@@the-real-angus-young you sound weak
Angus Young Nonsense.
@@the-real-angus-young you're "that guy" huh . ..
The last bit of your comment cracked me up,brilliant!
Too funny! 😁👏💜
I love the intro of this song, and everything else that comes after.
Respect from bahrain 🇧🇭
The Best Guitarist Ever ! ❤
Whenever I feel down for anything human related, which basically is always the case, this is the very thing I address myself to bring me back up. Just to think that humans are also capable to deliver pure unconditional beauty like this song is a relief for any soul
Hard to believe it's made by humans though...
Faccio anche io lo stesso pensiero alè. È incredibile come la mente umana riesca a creare certe cose
MIRACULOUS, UNIQUE, MUSIC STEEL!! UTMOST BAND!!!
Fantastic................
A Very Underated Pink Floyd Masterpiece !
Pink Floyd infiniti nel mio ❤️
Love this song it has to be my fave pink floyd song of all, very underrated.
This was on tv, I caught a quick glance, my eyes went wide and I immediately said “He’s playing the drums with lightsabers!!!”. Then right after that I was completely sucked in, I hadn’t heard this song before, and it was absolutely fantastic.
Saw Floyd in '94 but the Momentary Lapse tour possibly had the best lighting of any tour ever. Regret not seeing this show live! And I still love the weird etherealness of Side 2 of Momentary Lapse.
When listening to this composition, I always get goosebumps all over my body, and it gives me a shiver. A wonderful song, although it seems sad. Hello everyone from Russia
Love this song, its really heavy, I like it.
Sono tutte fantastiche
On time beautiful band !
uow. pf is an example of great composition, investment in sound, image, inovation in studio and concert, marketing and so on. you also feel the rigor but also the love in this concerts. i love roger for all he have done, but it was necessary to see this love instead of hate in 1975-1979 era. delicate was the first disc my father offered me and my father fall in love with pink floyd (he has the same age of david gilmour, and born also in march)
Wow! Just Wow! My favorite! Thanks, HD. REALLY love this.❤❤❤
Dave's facial expressions were awesome under the influence of psychedelics!!!! Hartford 10-15-87, I am pushing 60 now, best show of my life, 11 rows back on the floor under Gilmour.
Amo Pink Floyd. Gilmour é um gênio musical. Conseguiu levar a banda em frente quando muitos acharam ser o fim.
Simplesmente a maior banda de todos os tempos. Gosto do Pink Floyd desde a infância.
Eu também, desde infância ouço essa banda. Amo demais
Somos dois. Até hje eu choro com suas lindas canções.
Concordo plenamente, já somos 3, ouço os todos os dias, depois de trabalho, desde k m lembro 😍
Somos 4! rs

THIS WAS AWESOME!!! David Gilmore is the greatest guitar legend in the entire world!
talking about spaces in the music...signature Pink Floyd...what a beautiful song; a masterpiece. And the solo so understated and so fantastic.
This music incredible!
La calidad del sonido y la imagen es espectacular, muchas gracias por subirlo 👏👏👏👏
Pink floyd live la banda sonora de mi vida PINK FLOYD.
David gilmour el señor de los sonidos
Having seen this live performance when they toured, I sat mesmerized thinking, "man they really play those somgs". AMAZING!!!
It had to be a truly magical show in the era... Even today it looks amazing...
With this footage revealed and the concert brought out in full (as 'The Later Years') you hear the differences which they cut out & paste from and onto the tracks that came out on the Delicate album back in the day. Listen to Comfortably Numb for instance and you will know what i mean!! Guess it's the most played album i have so i notice(d) it ;)
You also hear the audience way better as the vocals from the other members throughout the tracks..
Good news is that it are all the tracks played at the time.. I was there in Rotterdam '88 and i knew i had heard 'Welcome to the machine' and 'One slip' I was disappointed they where not on the double album at the time..
For me this was the better concert too.. probably because it was the first time i saw them..
Very very very impressive :D

That's Brilliance...!!!!
Super Sonic Rock
Just a beautifully crafted piece of music.
Ive bought this album" momentary lapse of reason "about four times and still don't own a copy. I always went to this track so much atmosphere and outer galactic magic.
This song...This song........
