Today we learned that dropping Coat of Arms on a table with four tribal decks isn't a very smart idea.
😆
More werewolves and Dinos! Great vid
Thank you AJ! 😊
Great production! One suggestion for double faced cards: at least for those in starting hands can you show their flip sides as well when displaying them? Thanks for the video, keep up the good work!
Thank you! I usually do this for double sided commanders, but completely forgot for the opening hands! 😅
Great win by the werewolf deck!
It certainly was! 😄
Where are the wolf's decklist?😢
Spoiler
There’s literally nothing scarier than hearing “green sun’s zenith” or “finale of devastation” for 8
Very true! 😂
My last game with Ghired I cast Finale of Devastation for my first time ever, X=10+. The best part was I had Rionya on the field when I did this so I got two extra Hoofs and their triggers when I got to combat 😅
I don't know... Thassa's Oracle on the stack has always been scarier to me.
@@DarkEinherjar yeah that’s fair.
The forest that Wood Elves finds comes in untapped.
Nice catch! At least it didn't impact the game 🙂
I came for the squirrels, but stayed for the puppers!
Win-win situation! 😆
At least if Dinos couldn't win angry pups did instead 🤣
Indeed! 😁
Well streets is gonna be interesting. But now I wanna to return to dominaria
Not long to go! 😁
@@AffinityForCommander there's some reprints that I want and wish Wizards made better card stock.
@@AffinityForCommander also I can't wait for fall. I bought that secret lair deck and it's delayed til then. Damn it
I'm sure it will be worth the wait! 😄
@@AffinityForCommander it better because A I might have waited too long for personal reasons/laziness. And 2 let's face it. Whatever is going on at wotc is the work of well I dunno. Corporate interests.
you read every comment eh? really? OH REALLY? well then: did you know? Trypophobia is the fear of closely-packed holes. Or more specifically, "an aversion to the sight of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps."
You learn something new every day! 😃
Leaving a comment for the algorithm. Love this stuff too.
Thanks Chris! 😄
Brilliant content 👍🏻
Thank you so much! 😍
It's all fun and games until you get hoofed
😆
Thst was an awesome game and finish!!! Just when I thought elves had it in the bag lol great stuff. Gonna hit that sub now!
So glad you liked it! 😍
Werewolves shouldn't have flipped at all at 7:47
Why not? Tovolar transforms them with his ability, does he not? 🤔
@@AffinityForCommander the older werewolves shouldn't have due to they don't follow the day and night cycle. They follow the if a spell was cast rule. Just like how moonmist doesn't work with the day and night cycle either
But Tovolar has the line of text: "Then transform any number of Human Werewolves you control."
Tolvars ability was on stack , then the older werewolves was next to keep it in check
@@timmylamotte5713 If Tovolar had no additional text, he’d still be a good Werewolf commander, but it gets even better. At the beginning of your upkeep, it becomes night if you control three or more Werewolves. Then, you can transform any number of Human Werewolves you control. That last part might seem redundant, given that the new Werewolves transform when it becomes night, but it really isn’t. It ensures that Tovolar can transform the older Werewolf cards that care about spells cast by any player.
This is from the card kingdom blog based on the Tovolar commander
GIIIIISHAAAAATH!
🦖
More Gushath
There can never be enough! 😆
Awesome video, was rooting for dinos since I run Gishath too lol
Quick question though, when a card says to fight another creature like in Savage Stomp, does that count as your "battle phase" or is that separate from it?
I guess what I'm really asking is if I can declare an attack after an effect that says "fights another creature"
Glad you liked the video! Fighting is completely separate to combat, so feel free to attack as well! 😁
I’m sure it’s been noted already but the old werewolves don’t flip with the day/night mechanic, only the new ones do so tolvilar’s ability should of only flipped the new werewolves. Great content as always
Tovolar actually says "then transform any numbe of human werewolves you control", so he does flip the old werewolves as well! 🙂
@@AffinityForCommander Correct, but there was that awkward moment in turn 6 where Tom cast a spell on Hugo's turn, meaning Daybreak Ranger should have transformed back at Tom's upkeep, because the old Werewolves don't care who casts two spells in a turn. I don't think it affected the game too much, and it's admittedly hard enough keeping track of the Daybound/Nightbound mechanic as it is.
@@DaKareerKilla they do care who casts two spells in a turn the exact wording is "at the beginning of each upkeep, if a player cast two or more spells last turn, transform X"
@@thomasstevens7728 Apologies, I was thinking of it the other way around. It's the trigger of the Human side that doesn't care who cast the spell. My bad.
