In 2010, a family moved into a suburban house. Their joy turned to terror on the first night when they were brutally murdered by an unknown assailant. The police investigated, but each victim was found hanging in the bathroom with a mysterious symbol carved into their chests. Frustrated, the police closed the case, declaring the house off-limits. I love it how when you call 911 and they tell you that they will be there in five minutes. When you didn't even tell them the address, they know who you are.🤣

most (modern) systems can triangulate cell phones pretty quick and usually occurs in the background expressly because most of the time people can't calm down and state facts as they happen. though its been a big problem lately that dispatchers follow scripts and the systems now require the scripts. so its harder to get information you can get to get the ball rolling while you get more info. and dispatchers more often won't let the person ramble (its being recorded to get info off later) because they keep trying to ask the specific prompts in the specific order.

@@zwordsman "Quickly" is a loaded term considering the burden inflicted on 911 system and the operators. And that doesn't take account in personal incompetence + the flood of prank calls
True story: I wasn't home and my toddler son was with his dad who thought it was a great idea to take a nap. I was actually nearby at the supermarket when several squat cars drove like maniacs towards my street. Didn't put 2 and 2 together until I arrived 10 minutes later and all 10 police cars had left already.
According to my ex (wonder why?) our son managed to dial 911 while playing with the phone. The noises he made had them very concerned and within 10 minutes they were there and woke up my ex by banging on 20 Doors and windows 😂
I missed all the action but I saw all the 🚨🚨🚨 cars going there with sirens and then silently driving off while I was walking down the street towards home. They can find your address really quickly if you don't hang up.

Weird there was only one cop arriving to a call about someone trying to hide from someone trying to kill them.

As a Police Officer, I would leave the house and call for backup, when I see a bloody body being dragged away.
Common sense
Common sense does not apply in horror games apparently! Or movies, or anything horror-related...
I suppose common sense would make most horror games much shorter and uneventful, but it'd be nice to see it a little more often

"why no partner" It really depends on the jurisdiction. If you're an officer out in very rural areas, you're most likely on your own until you call for backup.

It's 02:24 am in Jakarta, Indonesia. What a time to watch Fooster playing a horror game.
fun fact: whenever you feel like you're being watched, it's because you are. You already saw what was looking at you, your mind just hasn't recognized the pattern yet. By that I mean you saw it, but it's blending into the background or obscured by something, and your eyes haven't picked up on that yet, but your brain knows what your eyes saw and is sending signals to put you on guard. That uneasy feeling is meant to do that. Never ignore that feeling, it is always right whether something happens or not.
Just thought about this when Fooster mentioned hating seeing something peeking halfway around a corner

Hey Fooster. Remember, when you played Little Nightmares 2 a while ago? Did you see the hidden scene at the end of the credits of Six falling out of the TV Screen like Mono, then holding her stomach because she became hungry? I have the theory, that that was the reason, why she let go of Mono's hand. Not because she is evil and betrayed him, but because she didn't want to risk hurting him because of her hunger. It's just that Mono and most players believe that Six betrayed Mono. And that's why Slendermono focused mainly on Six. Because he was still holding a grudge against her because he thinks she betrayed him. Well, at least that's what I believe.
