    I love this series. I don’t think it was shown on British tv, so I am watching it now. I have always had a love of tv westerns and this is one of the best. My admiration for Nick Adams has lead to find more of his work.

    Marvelous series. Thanks for posting it and doing such a good job too.
    That line where the gold seeker quotes Wm. Shakespeare and names him and Johnny Yuma thinks that he is naming himself is hysterical! Excellent writing!

      That's actually more authentic. Some series hundreds of shots fired against cowboys riding horses and not one horse would get hit. Generally speaking most viewers don't like to see innocent animals getting killed whether on purpose or accident so I see why you don't see a lot of it even in these old series.

      Jim Assalone if you think the south fought the war for an institution that was secured by the constitution, you better better start reading some history that ain't one-sided. Just saying...

    • @godgunsandgoldens
      @godgunsandgoldens Před 7 lety +3

      I know most fought in the South to defend their states rights as most did not own slaves. They didn't think the Federal Government should decide how they should live. Many fighting for the North were not against slavery either but wanted to live and let live.

      But "south" or "north", they were both from the colonizing English stock, which took over America. Those two factions were fighting to get for themselves the whole of America, they conquered by massacring the Native American nations it belonged to. Fighting over the abolition of slavery was a joke. Blacks have been exploited in the South, worse than when they were slaves. Lynching was common. Only the 1960's saw some easing on Blacks, when they began to revolt. Blacks won their real freedom by themsleves, not from the "civil war".

      @@zorroalphonso4354 nice load of BS and fantasy you have there lol and the "Natives" were the second wave of people in N America. The soultreans were here BEFORE the so called natives migrated here from s America and eurasia, they wiped the soultreans out and claimed the land. Also the "natives" committed acts of genocide upon each other, enslaved each other and stole land from each other. so the whites did nothin that the "natives" weren't already doin to each other, they just did it better and made somethin of the land. As far as the blacks, they have exploited themselves and gone downhill the more freedoms and power they get. they are their own worst enemy.

      yes and he wanted to send them all back to S Africa also, he didn't see them as humans. So he wasn't the great racial hero history portrays him to be. slavery only became a big talkin point when it looked like the South was gonna win and England might join in to help them.
