It’s set up to reward teams based on their league positions. As all football should be.

2nd bottom of a league getting a lifeline is not a 'reward' that should ever exist.
The Championship teams fine but the 2nd bottom in Prem should he relegated automatically.

Agreed play off set up is rotten. Would be better for the 2nd bottom prem team to play who ever game 4th in the championship and then 2nd play 3rd in the championship then have a winner takes all at Hampden
