    I don't understand how does google table join the feed and understand what and where it is needed in the merchant center

      Google uses the item id to match products from the supplemental feed to the main feed, so as long as you include the id in the supplemental feed Google will update the product with the same id with the info in your supplemental feed.

    Thanks for the video. May I know why we can't just add the attributes in the primary feed?

    • @onlineretailacademy
      @onlineretailacademy  Před 2 lety

      There's no reason why you can't do that. With some feed plugins or apps it's not as easy to do it that way, so sometimes it's handy to have an alternative way to add attributes.

    Awesome thanks, explained very well 👌- Once changes are made in the feed and reflected in Merchant Centre, do they automatically reflect in Google Ads too? How long does this sync take?

    Thanks, how do i add Multiple Product Highlights in the Google Sheets (in one cell), so that they appear as bulleted list in Ad and doesn't break into multiple lines automatically.
    e.g. if i write (in one cell)
    Excellent product, made from finest quality.
    Free Returns
    Free Delivery
    While uploading, it breaks it into multiple lines of its own chooice. I have tried using , but even that isn't working.

    Thank you so much for the amazing video, is it possible to have more than 1 title? Example: I sell gift bundles that can be offered as "wedding presents" or "birthday" or "graduation" etc... Is it possible to attribute different titles to the same product? Or is there a better way? Thanks a lot

    • @onlineretailacademy
      @onlineretailacademy  Před 2 lety +1

      You can only use 1 title per product, but you could include those keywords in your descriptions and product types to help Google understand that your product is relevant to those occasions as well.

    could you use a supplemental feed to edit a landing page? for testing purposes lets say

    • @onlineretailacademy
      @onlineretailacademy  Před 11 měsíci

      In theory you could assign a different landing page in a supplemental feed, though not sure this would work in practice since you'd essentially just be sending to a different product...

    Hi Sara! Is there a way to serve two different titles for the same product? I mean that I have 100 impression 'title-1' will show 50 times and 'title-2' will show 50 times. My goal is to measure which one works better.
    Can I do this with Supplemental feeds?
    Thanks.

    • @onlineretailacademy
      @onlineretailacademy  Před rokem

      I don't know of a way to do this automatically, you'd have to change the title for a set period and then make a note of the results and compare.

    This is a great tutorial! Thanks for the video! I have a primary feed that contains the URLs with the following UTM ?GoogleShopping&Feed. I set different Secondary Feeds to work on Names and Descriptions. In case I would change the UTM in a way that contains the name of the campaign (?GoogleShopping&Feed&EXAMPLE) Do I need to set the rule in the Primary Feed or Secondary? And how would I set the rule? Thank you very much!

    • @onlineretailacademy
      @onlineretailacademy  Před 11 měsíci

      I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean. If you are adding new URL parameters in a supplemental feed, the rule is taken care of automatically as GMC will look at the data in the supplemental feed and apply that to any matching product id.

    Fantastic video.
    Can we attribute our promotion id & promocode by using a supplemental feed?
    I want my products to show 10%off on shopping ads using supplemental feed.
    Can you help me with this?
