Oh. Newt. I'm very indifferent towards her, but at least she's not too bad if you like her and want to use her. In battle, she draws extra aggro from physical attacks and will reduce damage from enemies surrounding her, so always fight at close quarters. Also remember that her quest can be started at affinity level 3, but you must wait until level 5 to complete, because you need level 3 of her Titan Weapon Wisdom. - Hry

Well done with this, and now Newt, I have to say, big Arms for a small girl, yet those Arms she is controlling, she is quite powerful to do something like that, and this is quite a first Quest, and Ship Eating Taos, and final boss of this Quest completed, and we now completed Newts chart, and yeah we already seen her enough times, heck she was expensive to begin with, and being a mergirl, already know who she is, anyway keep doing a wonderful job, I look forward to more.
Ok, this quest is kinda dumb in my opinion lol
Not the actual quest itself, I think it's actually pretty neat how Newt wants to join the army and we get some insight into the military practices in Mor Ardain. What I don't like is the timing. You can unlock it once you reach Newt's 3rd ring of affinity, which in itself is fine, a lot of blade quests do this, but then the quest requires you to have the third level of Titan Weapon Wisdom, which means you have to get to her 5th ring of affinity. I'm someone who likes to finish tasks as soon as possible after they are given to me, so this really annoyed me cuz I didn't want to use Newt because I got her on Morag and she already had a Fire Tank blade in Brighid whose affinity I wanted to boost and I hadn't yet reached the point where Rex could equip any blade. And even when i did reach that point, there were now other blades that I was more eager to finish the stories of, so Newt was on the back burner for a long time for me.
Newt just had to be any element other than Fire for me to care more about her.
I know right? I think they could’ve easily made her Earth and no one would bat an eye, and I might’ve actually used her. (They’d have to remove the fire from her arms though)
@@Hawlo Why are fire blades bad? I've seen this a lot lately.
@@OrbitalRescueSage It's not necessarily that Fire Blades are bad, it's just that Newt would fit Morag best because of her role but since she has the same element as Brighid, I'm very likely not to use her. In the end, I don't have anyone I would use Newt with. Dagas is great with his party buff and Crossette is excellent (though she's DLC so it's expected). Newt is just... there.
