oh my godness i'm so glad i found this channel! i dyed my hair last year and went from a warm brown to a darker, red-ish color. since then i died my hair progressively more towards a brighter, more ginger color and i've been lost on lipstick colors. nudes make me look sick, anything pink-toned is a big no-no for me and i haven't been able to find a good shade of red yet. when i had brown hair i loved going for "shocking" darks (black, dark red, purple) or cute neutrals (brown, nude). any tips? i'm kinda on a buget and matte lipsticks (i look wierd in shiny ones of glosses) are suuuper expensive and rare where i live

Try Mac Taupe if you can find it . Another fave for me . All time favorite actually, is Revlon Colorstay Satin Ink in the color “ In So Deep “ . Looks very brown in the tube . But becomes a reddish brown on me . Apply it , then kiss the back of your hand . That takes the shine away a bit and helps it stay on for hours. Til you eat . Not drying either . Good luck. Redheads have a tough time with lipstick and it’s annoying. Haha ! It ends up looking quite natural on me and fades to a healthy lip color over time . Just makes me look more healthy and put together.
As a fair skinned strawberry blonde, I actually find lipsticks/glosses that are more peach and pink toned are flattering. Browns can make my skin look lackluster. Need some color! I recently purchased Flower Beauty’s Naked Blush, as I heard it was a great dupe for one of Charlotte Tilbury’s!

I love the hour glass! I once found a Chanel that the saleswoman said was “blue-red”. I can’t remember the color, but it was amazing.

I love that red! I'm still struggling to find one I feel comfortable in, I don't know if it's the wrong shade/hue or I'm not use to wearing lipstick... Probably the latter because I barely wear makeup, usually tinted moisturizer and some mascara maybe twice a week. I think I'm a neutral skin tone that leans to the cool side, somewhere between a strawberry blonde and ginger/copper I think 🤷🏼♀️ I swear it seems to change day to day....

Just found you and subscribed and am SO happy! I am (was) a coppery redhead with blue-geen eyes. Quarantine made me decide to stop coloring my hair (age 61) but now I don't know how to do my makeup. While my hair is on its way to white, it still has warmth, but I feel like I'm fading away. My favorite lip is Lauder's Naked Ambition but now it seems a little dead. Maybe my eyes haven't adjusted yet? Any suggestions?

If like to see you try some browns . I personally look washed out with the lighter shades . I like to barely put on a nice brown . They tend to look red on me . My skin tone is similar to yours . I rarely see that in lipstick videos. But I never see people with my skin tone apply browns . Thank you so much 😊. I’m looking for a 90’s brown . Just hard to find one .

I have very copper orange color hair and I don’t like pinks or orange lipstick. Can you give any advice. It’s been so hard to find a shade for me.
What would you recommend for a red head that is more darker red (auburn hair) but still very much red, that has fair skin? I find the peachy colors makes me look washed out or sick. Maybe darker peaches would look okay but I am not entirely sure.

@@villanelleherself7381 I really like New York Apple by Mac. Not a very dark red but in my opinion it suits a lot of redheads. For me it's the only one so far that doesn't make me look like a 2 dollar h**ker lol

That Penelope Pink looks stellar on you! Sugared Maple is my favorite lipstick that I've ever worn and it is by Lancome. I'm switching over to all natural brands once I finish the makeup that I have but it will hurt not to wear Sugared Maple anymore. I'm losing my copper color but that's what I used to be. I've begged Zabrena (another fab redhead makeup guru) to do some videos on how to color red hair at home and so I will ask you the same. It does not look like you are coloring yours but perhaps you could lend some guidance. At this point I really can't afford to color my hair even if things go back to normal, and that is why I haven't colored my hair in years. I would love to have my vibrant copper color back. I also get concerned about what is in hair dye. I just don't know that a natural copper color can be achieved through henna. It seems so risky. I've never been much of a risk-taker with my red hair and it was scary enough having a temporary color booster put in.
I'm commenting as I'm watching the video, but I used to have a kind of Oxblood color lipstick and I would get so many compliments on it when I would wear it out. It was a matte lip and I would have makeup artists comment and how good it looked on me. I'm pretty sure it was by Bobby Brown and naturally it got discontinued.

And you're so right, I don't dye my hair at the moment. I used to dye it with henna but have started to let my roots grow in. It's just easier to maintain. I do want to put some highlights in once I'm able to!

Hi can you make a video on lipliners and lipcombos as well please? I have a yellow undertone and peachy nudes look best on me , but a lot of the times insee a lot of woman use cork, lipliner or really bpdarker brown lipliners. That's to dark for me, I like your lipliner can you share?
Hey! That is a great idea! I almost always use Charlotte Tilbury's iconic nude lipliner. I think it looks so nice with the peachy pink shades I do!

I am an extremely fair cool toned copper coloured redhead, with blue eyes. So I find that the colours that look best on me are the fuchsias, pinks & reds. Can’t do the peachy colours. My twin sister is almost as fair as me but not quite. Our Grandma was a redhead too with green & brown eyes. She could wear corals & peachy colours
What a gorgeous combination! Yes, I agree, it's best to match the lip and blush to your undertone and pink is cooler and peach is more for warm undertones! I'd love to know some of your favourite cool tone shades!

I am a redhead that is similar to your hair color. However, I have cool undertones. The video colors you use for redheads appear to have warm undertones. I look awful in warm toned makeup. Do you have makeup videos for redheads with cool undertones? For example Blue undertone red or pink lipstick looks really good on me.
