Danielle 1974 that's a good idea!
I use the batteries at DT for my tv remote only. They last forever in tv remotes.
Keisha H. Yesssss
Omg yes!!! I was just saying the other day that I havent had to replace my batteries for my remotes in a while
Keisha H. Me to
They say high drain or slow drain at the top of pkg.... with pics on the back to make sure your picking out the correct 🔋 batteries. I just learned this a few months ago, now it finally wks.
agreed. I use them for my camera as well. I just have to make sure I get the high drain ones.
I agree with you on all counts. However, I do purchase the aluminum foil and foil pans (not for cooking) as they are good for crafting as they're so inexpensive and will help protect your working surface.
Tammy Dennison Good Idea!
Rosie--Thank you!
Alisa--Thanks! I found using aluminum foil with glitter crafts makes clean up a breeze.
me too :D
Amen about the foil, exactly just a waste of spending $1.00 on. I agree about the tin pans as well, don’t put a chicken in it, it will land on the floor! Lol! I usually don’t buy wrapping paper, gift bags are definitely my thing.
Cool Crafty Creations I purchase my foil from Costco. It’s just so costly at the market.
those foil pans are good for potlucks when you don't feel like asking back for your tupperware i used to get them at the grocery store way more expensive for the same quality so now either dollar tree or the 99 lol.
More or less? cheap or value? quantity or quality? I value your opinions. I look at you as a professional shopper and as much as you shop at DT, your reviews are saving me money.
I think they should rethink saying they're "oven proof", I pray no one burns their hand getting a pan out the oven, smh !! The lotions Yep, The thin foil Yep,...😂😂😂😂when you said "I don't know what that is but that is not cheese", don't come for me nobody bcuz i look for inexpensive items myself all the time, eatable, clothing, decor, we all do, nothing wrong with that. Hope everyone have a great weekend! Btw, those sunbeam batteries that's def a no no !!!!!!! I feel you on that !
I know how you feel I just spent 64 dollars there and my only problem it’s on other side of my apartment. It’s to close
great video and agree to most except the batteries because the alkaline batteries are the best and last longer for a dollar. the heavy duty ones are junk in my opinion. tfs and not coming for you sweetie just thought you might want to know the difference in the batteries. nothing but love sweetie
I was going to say the same I use them for everything from remotes to LED lights and they last ages, I especially love when they have the larger packs. The trick with them is just paying attention to whether they are low or high drain, I can’t vouch for the high drain but the low are fantastic.
I was gonna comment about this too. My dad has weather equipment and alkaline batteries are what's recommended for his remote sensors. We were getting all our batteries for that from DT because they were the only place that sold them around me. They'd last waaay longer than the name brand. I was able to get a great deal on a bunch of alkaline batteries so I don't have to buy them from DT anymore but I would still recommend them.
I'm glad you said this. I have wanted to buy low drain batteries to have on hand, but I thought all DT batteries weren't rip offs.
No Guts No Glory
You're coming at her. Just a little bit. Lmao. Just messing with ya!😉
I like the dollar tree alkaline batteries too. They seem to last forever for me.
I have zero luck with any of the solar items...
Yes the alkaline are much better, sunbeams no no
I agree with you about all the things you have mentioned. I will use dermasil lotion because I have eczema skin. I don’t purchase dairy items from them either. PMF everyone is entitled to their own opinions for sure
Oven mitts were no good to me either mine melted right through and I burned my hand! It hurt for days!! Thanks good to know these things everyone has their own opinion and some agree some don't it's life but this info is good to be aware of we do buy these things, thanks!
I agree with everything you said, but, girlfriend you need to add q-tips! Those things are not fit for nothing!
I agree LOL!!!!
This video was so on point I totally agree
I found dollar tree has hair elastics for thick hair and they work pretty well. First one snapped but the rest of the pack has been amazing!
I agree those tin pans aren't worth the money. Those brushes hurt,I used it in the bath and it scraped my skin off, those bristle heads are too hard. I only buy the dermasi lotion from DT.
It was a great video because you stated reason you don't buy items, so if it isn't a big deal to someone else they can make their choice
True on the foil and those pans. Really all the stuff you mentioned. 😁😁
“ The cheese is not cheese “ lolllllll so true . I’m really funny with the whole refrigerated section anyway. I agree with you ! Tfs love your hair btw ❤️
Saara Aziz Agree! But the frozen fruit is excellent!!!
I guess everyone knows we are all different and we won’t necessarily all like the same things
I was just having a conversation with my coworkers about some of the refrigerated food products at Dollar Tree LOL ..... my issue isn't so much with the food as it is with the staff handling the food. If there is a brand I recognize, I'll more than likely buy it once...but some of that other stuff....just like the dairy and those $1 steaks!!! WTW??? Hard pass LOL
I agree with you 💯💯💯 about everything you have mentioned. I realized a long time ago that paying a few more dollars for these items will be worth it over time.
I only use silicone oven mitts....one reason is that they can be cleaned...unlike the lots ones stained with tomato sauce.
Camille Morris I like the silicone mini-mitts too!!
Ha. My fella and I bought the sour cream spur of the moment one time, and daaang was that stuff horrible. We hate being wasteful but one spoon of that stuff and the rest went in the garbage. That ain't food, lol.
Good video, lady :)
I cant believe how oversensitive people are, it's very sad!
You are potentially saving people from wasting their hard earned money on products that are poor quality. I think this video is very informative :)
The sour cream is called Unreal Sour Creme- it's not even spelled correctly!
I can just laugh and watched your video about the dislikes at the DT! I made baked beans today and used the tin pans, flimsy and I doubled them, gurl, don’t you know I just about lost them in the bottom of the oven, I just thought about your video and said you were told!😂😂😂No more 4 me. Happy Easter 🐣
I agreed on the items you mentioned and I also have a few more items I won't buy from the dollar tree. If the item doesn't work well, it's not a bargain at ANY price. I love your videos! Ignore the haters, never apologize for expressing your opinion! 🤗
Great video! I always read the ingredient list on DT food. Frequently they're made with very sub par oils and high fructose corn syrup.
You are so pretty! Love your glowing skin!
I agree with you 💯 percent on the items of dollar tree but I do buy the Panasonic batteries and you are right each to their own opinion, great video. 👍🏻
I respect prettynflaws opinion. It's what works for her. However, i also read some of the comments and its good to hear some things like the alkaline/low batteries can last and its worth buying at DT. That's how we learn from each other. 👍
I feel the Blue pack of foil is thicker than the red pack
Jovelie Luv me too. That's about all they are good for.
The blue pack of foil is definitely thicker. I noticed that today.
Me too! The blue is great...the red is terrible
The blue one has , “compare to Reynolds Wrap foil ” on the box ... I agree!!👍🏾
Yeah I’ve never had an issue with the blue foil. I buy it all the time.
I agree with you on the foils and lotion. First and last time I bought those.
I agree with the foil and batteries. I just got the foil last month and it's like paper towel. The batteries don't last at all. Before you know it you have to change batteries. I stopped buying those years ago. I double up on the tin pans and it's still good. You are on point with the lotions. They are watery. Thanks for the heads up on some of the other items.
Khristi Chisholm I think the batteries are for things that aren't constantly in use like a remote. Other than that they are not good especially in a child's toy (learned that the hard way).
jzallona williams so very true, I brought the sunbeams just last Xmas for my grandbaby toy vacuum, I tell you, she played with her oh so fun vacuum, but end of that week, Nothin' ! So yeah, I agree!
That sour cream is disgusting!! 😩
TFS....I agree with all of this & appreciate you taking the time to share your reviews.
This was a very informative video! I have to agree with pretty much every product you mentioned.
I agree w u on all of these especially the batteries! I used to buy them all the time but I realized how much more I was spending when I finally used some “real” batteries and they lasted forever compared to the DT ones we had been using! TFS!
I used the Christmas paper and got along okay!
hi love I agree with you on the wrapping paper I stopped buying it years ago lol
It's good to know it's not just me!
This is a great list but we like the batteries. Works good for us. Thanks for sharing. 😁👍 Happy Easter! 👍🐰
We are on the same page when it comes to buying items from Dollar Tree
I agree with everything. I do buy the batteries occasionally but that's it. Good commentary today!
I disagree with the wrapping paper and batteries personally, sorry you've had bad experiences with them.
This is a great video idea! Can you please do a tutorial on your eye shadow?! You look so pretty! You're glowing! 😍
Awww you are so sweet
I agree, I couldn't stop looking at it!
Agree with you about all the items you mentioned. Thank you for sharing.
You have a right to say where your money goes.💕💕 Some folk like Cheesy thangz..😂😂😂... Different Stokes for all kind of folks...Do you👏👏.. Looooove this video 💕💕😂
I buy the family dollar brand of rechargeable batteries, i have had some of the for 10 years so they are good but those sunbeam batteries especially are awful. I finally learned my lesson with them after they burst and leaked and ruined several things for me.. Tfs!!!!!💜💜💜💜
carly 14 Whoa that is scary! 🙀
Hi👸🏽 I agree with you on the batteries because the lifespan is not very long but it’s only a $1 so having it as a back up plan is a great idea, great List don’t bake in the pans they’re way too thin, they will burn everything for towels I seem to be OK with them. thanks for sharing
Great video sis. Love this. I totally agree about the lotion, batteries, foil pans etc.
I purchase the aluminum foil in the red box to cover my cup while the tea steams. Since the foil is thin, I buy heavy duty foil for other uses.
Yes!!! I agree with you 1000% on every single item! Before you even started listing off the items, the first thing that I said out loud was aluminum foil and that’s the first thing you said! LOL! Loved the video and love your hauls! Keep them coming ❤️
Thank you - that was very helpful! Have a nice Holiday! - Brenda in PA
This was very true, and helpful thank you!
TRUTH EVERYONE INCLUDING GOD AND JESUS CHRIST CAN APPRECIATE THE TRUTH THANKS FOR THE TRUTH WE NEED MORE OF THAT 🤗😇👏
The tin cooking pans works for me ,when my food is done I transfer it to a serving pan.
I agree with everything. I had that kitchen towel and that thing melted right on me.
Great eye makeup!
I completely agree w/ you on the lotion & oven mitts. I had an oven mitt MELT when I got a pan out of the oven & it wasn’t extremely hot.
I agree on your list 👍🏼
Ty for the heads up on these items!
I use the aluminum pans not to cook but only to give some food away to people is they are going away after a party and I don’t want to give my lunch boxes to everybody coz some I don’t meet for six months.
😂😂not cheese😂😂 glad you made mention of the batteries thought my remote was actin up lol
I'd that a golden balloon dog figurine in the background?! 😂 that's so cool!
Eye-roll Anderson I’ve seen those at Ross or TJ Maxx
Tonya Mcclure thanks!
Girlllll, you hit the nail exactly on the head, for me!!!!!! I AGREE, STRONGLY, with EVERYTHING you said, except for the back scrubber and back loofa. That is only because I've never used them. So, thanks for the heads-up. Great informative video, for those who don't know. Enjoy your Easter weekend.
Totally A wonderful video. I too agree about most of the stuffs you mentioned. Thanks for the lovely videos today and always. 😃
I do agree about with the hair ties and lotions.
Totally agree!
Great video. I had an issue with the tin pans and I almost lost my rice Krispy treats. I can't buy the toilet paper. I agree 100% on the lotion.
I agree with you 100%! That being said, I did discover one brand of aluminum pan that they carry sometimes that is much better, thicker and more sturdy than those other wimpy ones. You have to search for them but they have a sticker on the bottom that says iChef. They have a thicker and slightly wider rim around them, too. I use them whenever I can find them. They are rectangular and probably about 2 quart sized.
Greer Alley Thanks for the tip! :)
Love this video!!! I totally agree with you on each and every product.
I've never used the batteries, but another youtuber I watch said u have to check the label for high drain and low drain because it will tell u which items u should use those batteries for.
Love your channel. Just purchased the red box of “foil” it’s more like tissue paper! Agree with all the products you mentioned👍
I agree with you on those items some stuff some of that stuff is just too cheap even the paper in the notebooks is just so super super thin but you can write something down on it so it'll work
I agree with you on all of those items!! Ain't nothing but the truth!!!
Totally agree with you on everything you mentioned in this video. I will never buy those fake dairy products!
Anything gold
Omg yes, the UNREAL Sour Cream, my Mom loves it but it does taste true to its name: UNREAL! 😂👍💙Tfs💜
I like the tins, but not for their intended purpose. They make great paint pallets for the kiddos 👍
Dollar tree has really thick pony tail holders. They equal like 10 of the original ones. I love them... They are super strong and I have long thick hair and they hold it perfectly! But I do agree with you on the ones you pictured!
I like the Panasonic batteries. Tfs great video
Maricela and Sammy’s Hauls do you use the blue carbon zinc Panasonic or the red alkaline ones? I bought a ton of the blue package Panasonic batteries from DT but my husband says they shouldn’t go in certain remotes because they are carbon zinc...
I didn’t even know there was a difference so I’m scared to use them lol
Which ones have you used and do they work ok?
Jennifer Curtis the blue ones. Really never knew that. I use them for my daughter toys more I have used them in the remote I notice they do waste faster than the energize one. I have used the alkaline too they finish faster than the panasonic. Do you know what will happen to the controls?
Well Mrs. Pretty & Flaw, I am SO with you on the foil tin pans. I only buy the towels & oven mits for decoration. I have never bought dairy products but I am also with you on the batteries 👍🏼. Many items are a hit or miss at the DT; unless they are name brand. Thank you for sharing and blessings 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Not everything in DT is a bargain. Sometimes it's a convenience. Definitely some things I won't buy either; one of which is the foil. I used it on bark one time and it took me forever to peel it off the back because it just kept shredding.
I agree about the batteries and the wrapping paper. The paper is so cute but sooooo thin! I also won't buy the long lighters, like the ones that look like a gun. They're a pain to use.
I agree with most of “What I don’t buy at DT”, the aluminum foil is the pits, I definitely agree with you on that one! I don’t like cheese and I haven’t bought the sour cream as of yet..lol
Lol they act like they own the store! You have your right to say how you feel. And they have the right to hush. 😉
LOL!!!! I know that's right =)
Right !!
candy h 😂😂😂when you said ...and they have the right to hush😂😂😂oh my side hurtin' 😂😂
Ree Smit okay? People get too butthurt these days, over nothing. They need to :Take a few seats! 😂
I agree with you on Mosely all the products you named thanks for sharing
Tfs, sum of these products I haven't tried. I do like their aluminum pans for some items that I cook. I only buy the Reynolds wrap foil from there tho bc the kind is sooo thin! Great video. Tfs
Forever Scher THE SMALL SQUARE PAN WORKS FINE FOR MY BROWNIES
I agree with all the items shown that you avoid. My main criteria is if I read that the item is distributed by Greenbriar, I put it back.
The Dove Intensive-Cream and the Curel Daily Healing are my go to lotions at Dollar Tree👍🏾
The only DT lotion that's thick is the one that says Shea Butter Lotion. My hangup is the headphones.
supercakes09 Oh yes! And the car phone chargers! Do not last, and my phone was plugged in, I was driving, and it was dead! I got lost at night and couldn't use GPS. Better to spend more on those and be safe!
I agree I don’t purchase lotions I don’t get oven mitts I actually burn my palm and the batteries I have gotten but they don’t last
Very long I did notice I had to buy often so I do keep them on hand for a emergency but for things that are using batteries for a long period time I do get other brand these are my options also
You are correct on all points. Thanks so much for this video.
have a blessed easter
awesome video thanks love it
Girl bye folk gonna always have something to say but who cares it's ur opinions and I agree with ya sista!!! I approve this message😃😃
Your video is sooooo on point!!!
Great video. Totally agree about tin pans, real flimsy.
OMG - "Unreal Sour Creme"?!?!?!? LOL - that is cracking me up. They are saying "Unreal" like it's a good thing! That is HYSTERICAL!
Loved your video as usual....Everyone has their own opinions, I believe agree w/ you on everything you mentioned as well....TFS...bye the way you're very beautiful.
I got the shredded "cheese" one time only when i read the ingredients, no cheese at all! lol
Some great points you made in this video! There are certainly things that aren't a great value, but just seem convenient.
I do have to say that I love the PRECUT foil from the dt. Both the Reynolds and off brand work great for me. We use them for lining baking trays (perfect size for half size sheet/toaster oven sized pans,) for covering baked potatoes and to cover the top of casserole dishes for baking. A lot of the time I am really just cooking for two and they are a great size for that and I waste less foil.
I agree with you on the batteries as well, although I have learned a bit from the comments here. I do love DT as a source for button batteries. They have a variety of sizes and they are economical for my battery operated candles and I can often find some sizes I cannot buy at my local grocery store. I tend to stash some of the 9 volts and button ones in my purse for my tens unit.
Vanessa H Good tips, and thank you for telling me about the button batteries!
You are so welcome! DT is actually the only other place I can find batteries for my mother's glucose reader unless I go to a hardware store. They last 6-9 months with her testing several times a day. Easily worth the $1 for me, and its $5-6 at lowes or home depot (IF they even have them in stock.) DT almost always has at least a whole strip of them no matter what location I go to.
