This reminds me that I need to flush the gear oil out of my trucks rear end. I hate being a backyard mechanic, but Im also too cheap to pay for easy repairs.
I hear ya there . Get ya some cans if paint and paint under there too while your at it so your frame don't look like this. Hahaha. Thanks for stopping by.
Yeah it's a pretty big job , cut the whole back of the frame off yesterday, today I ordered metal. Probably won't get back on it till Tuesday. I'll try and have it done Thursday or Friday tho.
For A 2008 Hummer H3, Dude, I've Gotta Say That You Did A Real Sh!ty Job At Taking Care Of An American Classic... This H3 Was Simply Neglected In Every Sense Of The Word. Totally Looks Like The H3 Just Sat In Salt Water For 8 Years... Total Neglect!
I totally agree. Luckily I didn't neglect it. I got it that way. It was headed to the scrap yard. I decided to fix it up. It's solid now. But on a defence. We also live in an area where they use way to much salt and they also use alot of calcium chloride too. It don't take long before that stuff eats threw metal. I appreciate you stopping by and also commenting. Hope you have a great week and maybe see ya on more comments in the future.

@@Hekomanspace it's all good. I totally understand. I like to bring hopeless ,/ basket cases back to life .. it's more gratifying. Not to mention it was only a few hundred dollars worth of material and some time and it's back on the road. Plus it had a brand new motor with 136 miles on it. Win win.

Number one, why was it left to get that bad and number two why bother now? That frame is pretty clapped, I imagine the whole underside is salt rusted heavily...
The rest is pretty crappy looking but still pretty solid. They had just put a brand new motor in it just a few days before the rusted out frame was found out. Should be able to get a few more years out of it now.
@@Jeepdriver75 I like these kind of challenges. It's more satisfying when u take something like this and fix it. The crapier the better. Should have see the jeep wrangler I did. Made the hummer look brand new.
