I had a problem with the rectifier an an old car. After replacing it the battery went, and then the rectifier again. I finally replaced battery and rectifier at the same time and all was well.... Electrics are a nightmare!!
Yeah!!! I haven't had much trouble with it recently, I do have to put her on a charger once in a while during the winter, but she works fine, so I want to believe the problem is sorted
When any new part is fitted that part starts it's own warranty period. All makes do that.
Handy to know about the rectifier issue...will keep an eye out to see if anything happens to my bike. ;)

Never had an issue with the rectifier on my 107. I am incidentally on my fourth set of clocks after they kept fogging up! The current one fogs up as well!
Oh the speedometer fogging up... I'm on my second and now out of warranty. This one is starting to show a bit of fogging too...some people drill a small hole on the back of it to stop it happening.
sorry to hear that. Yes I have heard about drilling a hole, just don't fancy trying that. Still not an issue in the summer.@@MOTOSPELL
My first bike was a Hyosung, I know.. I know.. no need to bash me 😂
The rectifier went of course.. did some research and ended bolting on a Honda cbr600 rectifier.. worked like a dream until I sold it later on..
Perhaps another model rectifier would do the job if it happens again👍
Ahah all it matters is that you ride, what you ride is not important eheh
If the problem arises again (I really hope not) I will be looking at another brand just in case.
