Can we substitute a tremendous bench in lew of a 200 mil guard!!!!! There are quite a few very good players that can make our team great off the bench!!!!!! These are bigs, 3 point shooters, and ball handlers.
Monk, KCP, Gary Trent, Keli Ubre, Caruso, Dorian Finey-Smith, Brogdan etc. These are bigs, Valanciunas, Dwight, Drumond etc....
We have veteran minimum players, mid level contracts, free agents and our pics.
DaRon Holmes kind of reminds me of a slightly shorter Myles Turner, with a sprinkle of Naz Reid
I can see that. Defensively he’s more like Turner, but offensively more like Naz Reid. They all have a fairly similar release point on their shots as well.
LAURI MARKENAN... scoring OFF BALL, imagine a pin down for him on 1 side, while AD/LBJ run pick n roll on the other - JJ (who will be the coach), can make great sets for Lauri. 🙀🙀🙀

I think the lakers should draft Tristan Da Silva from Colorado at #17. 6'9 forward who plays like kuzma/mpj. Great shooter, real good passer and a decent defender

I get why DaRon is intriguing. But having AD and Bron basically being C/PF hybrids already, let alone Rui and Vando - seems like a wasted pick. Think we need someone we don’t have already, unless we find a diamond in the rough.

Holmes is like a 2 way balanced combo forward, and Ware is like a 2 way Stretch Glass cleaner. Never heard much about Holmes til today, this is actually a tough choice to make, moreso because the Lakers can utilize either of them.
Kel'el for me, as the name says he maybe the next Lakers Superman
Court vision/playmaking is most definitely a pro. He averaged 3 assists per game and is imo the best passing big man in the draft.

This is great, I would prolly go with Kel'el still cause of the height nd position. But drafting for a big body is great not no Fino type of drafts anymore
You can teach JH to do what DH does within 2 years or less, we need a 7ft 250+ big so AD can go back to the 4. I say rebuild after this upcoming season and trade LBJ and AD.
If Kel'el Ware is not available at 17(likely to be picked before 17), they should go after Daron Holmes.

I like holmes' comparison to Naz Reid and I really wanted Naz last year. I would say to pick Holmes and then trade Rui/Gabe/Austin to Atlanta for Murray and Hunter. You get a 2 way PG and a 2 way SF to pair alongside AD and Lebron. I would also get Goga Bitadze as a backup to AD when we play against some of the more physical teams like Denver and Philly. We really do need someone big to help AD out against some of the larger centers

kelel ware is still my pick for this yr.. i hope the lakers is interested in him too.. or kyle F. of duke if this 2 not available ill get edey or holmes as backup plan.. but for me WARE is the top priority when u look at the landscape of the players now in the NBA they got taller now. and the small ball is the thing of the past!
