OH BOY did I put this one off for a long time. Yup, it's about as bad as I thought it'd be. HOW EVER YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! I had so many of you join me on twitch while I streamed this. If you missed it and want to hang out in the future, come give a follow! www.twitch.tv/jarek4gamingdragon
bruh
I remember buying this game for 5 bucks on ps3 (february this year). I played it for 15 minutes when i bought it and i haven't touched it since.
Long live the hat!!!
You seem so happy to finally be able to put your hat back :)
Hey I have a Game recommendation for you it’s called tenang 2 it’s like a Fear reboot
Everytime you mention Frostbite an ex-Anthem dev shivers.
Honestly the cutscenes aren't half bad. They're well directed, well acted, and the interactions between Preacher and his wife feel genuine. The problem is that they're completely disconnected from the gameplay and missions. They just come and go without much context. It's a shame, because there was potential here for a great story, but it was executed very poorly.
Warfighter the singleplayer is bad and sometimes mediocre, the multiplayer wasn't bad but the game got revealed and released in the worst time possible between battlefield and blackops.
The campaign isn't that bad. But the multiplayer is unplayable with all the bugs.
@@peoduction6068 campaign had some good moment, but the game tired to be cod and battlefield at the same time and yeah the multiplayer was buggy and the time to kill feel random most of the time.
@@mohamednail1707 agreed
I forgot about this. EA either didnt really care about the game and just pushed it out and hoped for a few sales or therye just really naive to think that this game would compete with any CoD, let alone Black Ops.
Ah yes, the Titanfall 2 of EA games- wait a second...
Can we appreciate that the mission where you shoot at the people taking someone hostage in a orange lifeboat is a direct reference to Captain Phillips
It is. The SEALs who rescued him worked as consultants on this game.
Wasn't there controversy about that?
@@harshbansal7982 yes
@@ThePhoneix999 The SEALs who were involved somehow got punished for giving the devs classified information to the game
@@bmhater1283 fake news, right??
I honestly enjoyed this game, I don't remember the single player but the multiplayer was actually pretty good, the weapon customisation was ahead of its time and it was cool to see different special ops groups you might not of heard of before.
The hat is back AND the Legendary OST as well? Damn, that's gotta be good
one positive thing about the game
Castle of Glass
Yup
Medal of Honor: Warfighter - The one that killed the entire series until the upcoming Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond rebooted it again.
EDIT: STOP POSTING COMMENTS THAT "Above and Beyond killed it again, dur!" It's getting incredibly annoying!
Frontline, we all remember the soundtrack
except its in VR, and almost everyone doesnt have VR.
@@nostradamusofgames5508 It will still get people interested in the series, though.
The game will be dead in less than a year
@@chinchy111 Again, despite requiring VR, It will still get newcomers interested in the franchise.
See Half-Life: Alyx to know what I'm talking about.
14:25 Wait, this game had a level where you play as the Seal Team that took out the Somali pirates to save Captain Phillips?
The best aspect of this game is the buddy system in the multiplayer.
More games need to implement/copy that system.
Dude, he didnt even talk about the multiplayer
I am late but what about it? I dont know anything about this game
1:50 no one going to talk about the legendary skill of that guy who shot rocket through crack in the wall to hit you ?
The issue is that the game had no identity of its own. All this ‘authentic military experience’ and ‘Linkin Park’ doing the main song can’t save a mediocre tech demo.
If it was released 10 years earlier it would’ve been great, instead it was just a Mod to Battlefield.
It looked like Battlefield and acted like Call of Duty but in 2005.
Ya know authentic military experience could be it's identity but it doesn't even do that right. It's just a cliche funneled one man army experience, no team work, no coordination. The reason why I liked the old Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games were that they were thinking man shooters. Oh well I got Ready or Not coming out.
@@DigitalFulcrum oh bro you haven't even seen the gameplay of it lol
@@williewilson2250 Gameplay of what? Medal of Honor? Yeah it's really basic, I've seen Total Biscuit run of it. If it's Ready of Not, then yes I have, I have the alpha and been playing the single player/coop build. Not sure how much I can say because of the NDA.
@@DigitalFulcrum wait gave they improved it since last time?
@@williewilson2250 You might of been seeing the multiplayer beta. Which yeah that's nothing to really look at. The single player component has been around for a little while. If you've played SWAT 4 it's very similar to that.
One mission set in Sarajevo and has a Mostar bridge in the beggining.
That’s honest my favorite mission it was awesome having to fight through the ice rink to get to the bad guy.
Medal of honor Doorfighter, kicking down doors wherever we go
14:41 They just wanted to push a real-life event into the game.
If you watch interviews/videos with the lead director, throughout the entirety of development he was just trying to hook up with veterans and shooting industry reps to put more of what he felt was cool in the game. It sorta worked, as there is charm here present that I can't get anywhere else, but it's overall not a cohesive experience and the game suffered from lack of time, lack of focus, and lack of the soul that was present in 2010.
Warfighter had so much potential to be a big success. I absolutely loved the game but it was released at the wrong time and unfinished. Had a blast on Multiplayer for as long as it took and the immersion they tried to recreate was fantastic.
4:21 that was so bland that I wanted to puke. Classic call of duty slow mo explosion scene and I say this as a blackops 1-2 weeboo
It was very nauseating. Like lagging and sensitivity at 200 plus
one thing this game did do right was the weapon customisation and the buddy system. All of which got incorporated into battlefield and call of Duty. So it did do some things really well
5:26 thats my footage, but since i want more people to see and play this game. I will let ya off haha
That's because he hasn't played the multiplayer
$20 for an 8 year old game? Lol.

I’ve never played Warfighter, but the one thing I remember vividly back in 2012 when this game was coming out was its connection to Linkin Park and their 2012 album Living Things. Castle of Glass was the main song from the album which was used prominently in the game (they even used footage from the game in the music video and performed it live at the Spike Video Game Awards that year after it got nominated for Best Song). Lies Greed Misery was also another song from the album which was used in one of the promotional trailers but wasn’t featured in the actual game.
Funny enough, you kind of look like the band’s lead guitarist Brad Delson in this video 😆
At the very least, Warfighter gave us one of the greatest Linkin Park songs ever. It’ll forever be worth it for Castle of Glass.
I actually enjoyed the campaign and multiplayer.
Medal of Honor: F in The Chat
Huh, so the multiplayer was made by someone else? That may explain why it looks rather interesting compared to the singleplayer where the gameplay looks boring
No that’s the first game that’s like that this is all made by the same team
That was the first game.
@@Jgvideophoto I thought he was referring to the subject of the video not the first game
I notice that as well.Multiplayer is similar to bad company 2.
The only redeeming factor from this game is the fact it has a Linkin Park song (and a good one)...that's it that song is only saving grace in my oppinion
You're god damn right
@@NihilisticIdealist And is it still online?

I really liked the multiplayer because it felt like a good middle ground between Battlefield and CoD. Unfortunately all maps had the problem that it was possible to spawn trap one team if the opposing team was a bit better.
Preacher was one of the seals in the moh 2010. So was mother and voodoo. Duece was a delta and is now working for someone else. If my memory serves my right they were trying to catch or destroy a terrorist cell but the story was poorly executed.
I'm glad that the modern military "spunkgargleweewee" shooter era is over, it only took us 10 years to notice how shitty most of these games are
COD is still a thing.
@@piergiorgiocaroli9201
And what other games are aping the Modern Military style at that time? Not as many nowadays.
@@piergiorgiocaroli9201 What's your point exactly? Seriously what is it? People enjoy the games, hence more of them are made. Are you forced to play COD? Do you have a mind of your own?
Other types of shooters were being made at the time OP. Maybe your COD derangement syndrome prevented you from seeing anything else.
@@ZombiAstral Wo Wo Wo! Calm your horses dude! First, I am a huge fan of COD. That doesn't mean it's not a Spunkgargleweewee shooter. In fact, Modern Warfare's campaign felt pretty much on rails. And since it's still a relevant franchise, i can't consider the spunkgargleweewee era over just yet, even though there are less and less developers willing to copy from it, which is great. As much as I love COD, I prefer the other devs to do their own thing.
Jarek: "That is the ugliest child I have ever seen."
AC series kids: *Allow us to introduce ourselves.*
Lmfao i remember playing this at launch. It was so broken. Campaign missions had no boundaries so you could literally walk out of the map and explore unintended areas.
That, is a good thing actually.
I hate stupid "gO bAcK tO tHe CoMbAt ZoNe" bullshit.
I was playing oldass Project IGI, and in a mission I could go the wrong direction and climb a damn mountain lol.
I remember TotalBiscuit's video on this game. He also did not have nice things to say about it. Your usage of Yahtzee's coined phrase is spot-on.
This game did one good thing for me. It introduced me to TB. to this day I still miss him
I've never played Warfighter but it seems like Battlefield 4: The Bad Ending... The game flopped at release and didn't managed to make a comeback. Most people say single player was mostly forgettable, but multiplayer was awesome
Yup, multiplayer was really awesome. Campaign was...awful...like worse than Battlefield 3
Hell, BFV made a comeback and it was a shit show. Trust me, I preordered for guns in BF1 (seriously, I wanted that damn Mosin Nagant Carbine no matter the cost.) and played BFV's beta and all up until the cancellation of more content. At the start, you could barely get into a lobby with new people and you'd keep running into the same players. The game had a shit ton of problems but it got better and seemingly recovered from the absolute horror show that was its marketing and bugs. I remember when trying to quit after a match would cause the game to soft lock into a black loading screen that never ended.
Tbh the campaign was a good story if you played MOH 2010. It's just sad it flopped because MOH was unique but tried too hard to compete with CoD
4:26 I love that animation for the falling cargo crate, it's hilarious for some reason
another great video:) keep up the great content!
8:13 Well CoD too made the trick with playing sad music and having someone die. But it worked. Except the character that dies in CoD is someone player knows for like 5 minutes of the whole game and he never even said something interesting.
The only time COD pulled that off well was in WW2 (which actually has a surprisingly good story).
So ghost?
Wrong.
@@anotheryoutubeaccount5259 What is? If you think that CoD didn't do this play through CoD:MW 2. Ghost death moment plays tragic music and everyone is sad about it. Why? Maybe I missed something but I played all CoDs from 1 to 6 and I am pretty sure that even you have no idea who Ghost is. Maybe there are some good CoD examples and if I missed something point it out, please. But until then don't blame MoH for doing something the same way (but a bit better, actually) than CoD.
@@Dofavulg ...ok
I remember the multiplayer, good memories but i remember a class with AP ammo that was op AF and people just destroy you, overall good memories
Soooo...basically, at 14:25, they are recreating a scene from a movie which I don't remember the name of, where the commander of a cargo ship gets captured by some somali pirates and held as hostage in a lifeboat. The scene is taken frame by frame from the last moments of the movie, where a group of snipers take out all the pirates on the lifeboat with a single shot each.
Captain Phillips
glad you covered both reboots, they are forgetful to remember. I forgotten about the driving part and all of the games too
Car stealth segment...... *Remembers Assassin Creed Black Flag Ship stealth stalk section*
Yeah. The story is confusing. Gameplay is generic. The fact that you can't change weapons during campaign is a shitty idea....
BUT I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!
I loved this game's multiplayer so much. It's a shame it never got the attention it deserved. Felt like a great blend of Battlefield and Call of Duty, to me. Loved all the different Special Forces units and the weapon customization. And the gunplay. I hate that I never ended up getting to play the MP for very long before the game effectively died. It deserved another chance, even if the singleplayer didn't.
It walked so that Modern Warfare 2019 could run.
When I got this, I was super unimpressed by it. As where I felt MoH 2010 actually tried to do something different (at least compared to previous MoH games; even if it was quite derivative of other big shooters at the time), Warfighter just felt like 'round two' but somehow worse in many regards, with no real noticeable/worthwhile additions. The biggest killer, though, was the damn story and presentation... it was just insufferable.
Playing BF3's SP campaign a few months after I played Warfighter, I began the switch away from CoD (gave up after Ghosts until MW2019) and MoH and went to battlefield...RIP BF, thanks BFV.
What are your thoughts on the mouse settings in far cry 2? I was quite disappointed
The subtitle thing: some older games would have a static font size intended for the resolution the console at the time would run at (in this case likely 720p). In Alice: Madness Returns (the one game that comes to mind when I think of this) it can be fixed by modifying the game to use the default Unreal Engine font instead of the custom stylized one. Oh, and that game can natively support higher resolutions as well as I recall.
Hearing you go *insane* trying to explain the story was hilarious to me
When you made the comparison to Shakespeare while talking about halo I died, that’s such a cutting insult considering the dumpster fire that halo 5’s story was, fantastic video again man
Jarek the Based Dragon returns, today is a good day
Funnily enough using the driving modifications of the Frostbite engine was something that Bioware did with ME: Andromeda as well.
I played the multiplayer for this game so so so much, never played the campaign all the way through, good video!
From what I remember about the game, the multiplayer was fun looking back at it. I remember the kill streaks you were able to always choose two options, and the last was a decked out chopper. Was prolly a trash game, but the nostalgia makes it seem like it was good. I always wondered what happened to this game, thanks for answering. Great video 👍
i cant wait until you make your way to a million, you deserve it
The stories are actually inspired by real events. Even I didn't know the first time I played. You are right this game was trying too hard to be Cod. COD is the reason I stopped playing military shooters.
Randomly found channel a year ago and still watching today
I know his channel through his airsoft content lol
I loved the MP and the story was alright, pretty damn confusing from time to time though. Loved the customization for weapons and the varied range of operators and weapons
I thought the multi-player on this game, with the duo squads, was super cool. And the way you edited your weapons was awesome. The maps and the way the weapons worked were really good.
Hey my game tag popped up in the vid made my day lol
Lol i was planning to download this game and you posed a vid nice
The hat stole the show. LONG LIVE THE HAT.
Enjoyed the stream, Jarek. Looking forward to seeing the next one.
I remember playing the multiplayer beta for this game back in 2012. It was alright, but didn't end up getting it. It is truly spunkgargleweewee.
spunkgargleweewee is crazy
I’m new the the channel and was wondering if you’ve played the original Red faction? Remember playing it on PS2 back in the day. I would say it’s a hidden gem but I honestly only remember some of the story and I did enjoy it.
Man I miss playing MP using the f88
"The hat's back"
*LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOO*
hey jarek i heard you said you enjoyed mw2019. are you going to try cold war and or have played it?
@rabid i thought it looked bad as well but after playing it I really enjoyed it but I don't agree it feels like mw2019 to me the gunplay feels less weightless and now there is actuall recoil on pc with some guns
Many years ago I got a cracked version of Medal of Honor Warfighter. It kept crashing on me at like the first level. I suppose I should be glad.
2:30 Deus Ex Invisible War did this too except Invisible War outright crashes and restarts on a different level. Didn't know of another game that did this.
I thought I would never see the hat again
I had repressed all bad memories of this game. Now I know why.
What is font size on those subtitles?
Jarek where did you get that hat now I want one too
Loved the multiplayer, slogged through the single, remember playing with a friend as a Sniper-Spotter team, wish it was backwards compatible so I can try to play it on my Xbox
Was this the one that has breaching? That schit gave me nightmares!
i remember i pplayed the old ones i heard a kid saying mom theres someone shooting a sniper rifle mom amd someone had a ptsd trigger too god it was the most awkward moment since i played at night i picked this game randomly
I had same problem with the machine gun at the end
I wonder if the FOV adjustment messed with the subtitle size? Although probably not since the subtitles are small in cut scenes. I know little about the inner workings of these things so I probably said something dumb and someone will point out exactly how dumb I sound.
I both hate that hat, and miss that hat.
You go bro, I'm loving the weather.
Yeeees hatJarek is back!
0:39 seconds in the video and DAMN does that background looks beautiful
I had it on Xbox and the multiplayer was amazing when it came to customizing load outs and it had a pretty solid set of maps imo. But on launch there were some pretty bad balancing problems and occasionally there’d be huge lag spikes (maybe it was just me but my internet was good enough that my whole family could be streaming at the same time without issues)
Can you do a video on Allied assault and its expansions?
Well until today I completely forgot thus game even existed
You gonna put a Blazers patch on the beanie?
I honestly enjoyed Warfighter personally. Also I was watching old zp episodes mainly fc2 and saw your comment on the engine and was surprised no one else had brought that up.
Can you tell us how populated the multiplayer truly is? I thoroughly enjoyed it on my ps3 and would like to know if its populated on pc.
The campaign and its lack of context can be explained pretty simply, they ran into a lot of issues with the government making this game since they used a lot of classified weaponry in this game, but this is also a game about killing osama bin laden, it’s almost 1-1 the same series of events they were just made to change a bunch of things in order to not get in deep shit and as a result it’s super incoherent
I used to have fun with the game in short bursts in SP back when i got it way on sales, but MP, was pretty fun for me, besides, the gun sound effects and reload animations are a 10/10 for me. i kinda regret selling it ever since then..
7:38 dude wtf is up with those trees, I get they were trying to animate the wind but those things are hauling ass
Ngl i loved the warfighter multiplayer and was so saddened when the servers got shut down but understood why. You really had to want to love it and play it the way the game wanted you to play. It was a rough game to play and i think i loved it with the goggles of playing with friends. The weapons customization felt cool though
I play these kinda games the same way I watch Rambo movies
Warfighter's multiplayer maps are some of the worst I've ever touched (One map is just 3 corridors connected to spawns). That one map in the abandoned soccer field was the only good one and it was far too easy to camp the staircases.
Warfighter's console menus and GUI is genuinely the worst, to the point that Battlelog was better which should never happen.
The multiplayer gun customization is nice, amazing even. But I never actually wanted to bother with it because of how bad going through menus was.
I remember playing this game when i was like 13 on xbox. The multiplayer was fun and i liked all the different characters from different countries
Would be interesting to see a video on the shadow warrior series before the new one comes out
7:21 I remember thinking the same exact thing when i played on release
So what I saw was lit a Captain Philips interactive cutscene anyone else notice that?
Most of the games missions are based on real events; the last level is basically a slightly different bin Laden raid
