Absolutely, The Jungfrau Region in winter is a symphony of beauty, with Wengen, Grindelwald, Männlichen, Lauterbrunnen, and more composing a breathtaking melody. The snowy landscapes, cozy villages, and magical vistas evoke a mix of awe and joy. It's a winter paradise ❄✨
Thanks Alexis and Louis for sharing a favorite way to spend a couple of days!
Beautiful! The countdown is on! Arrive Oct 1. 3 nights in Lucerne, 3 nights in Interlaken, 2 nights in Zurich. 😀
Let us know how it goes:)
Loved your video and I’m staying at this hotel in March.
soooo beautiful in the Winter! Looks not so crowded either. thank you for the sharing
this video was great. thank you my dear friend. see you
I’m definitely coming in winter! Thanks so much for this guide!! I’m taking notes at the same time because I’m planning for December 🎉
Happy New Year guys. Was missing your vlogs as its been some time now. Wengen region is in my bucket list for my next Swiss trip. Cant visit last time
great video
Not being a skier, I think sledding looks ideal for me.
Hi there 😊thanks for sharing 🎉 which month were you there
Hah, I went up from Wengen but you couldn't get all the way across to Grindelwald as it wasn't open
I ended up walking across! There was a route and I just kept on going.
Breathtaking scenery! Did you use the half fare card for your transportation including cable cars?
Nice! can yuo sahre the dates? wanting to travel on december this year. but not sure the dates when things are still open. thanks
Did you know? Lauterbrunnen valley has 72 waterfalls 🙂
Hello, Is walking from Murren to Gimmelwald in first of April safe?
Do you get any sunlight in January ? Heard it’s always cloudy…
I saw that there is a one day winter and sledging pass for 58 CHF. I will be visiting in March and just want one day to be able to get to Wengen, Mannlichen, and similar areas. Am I reading everything correctly that transportation would be included for those areas at that price? (I'll otherwise have a Eurail pass so this looks like a good deal if I'm understanding correctly. I will not be there for three days so the traditional Jungfrau Travel Pass doesn't work for my plans.). If anyone has insights on this, it would be appreciated.
We're about to go to Luzern/Zermatt and maybe a day trip to this area in a few weeks and it's calling for snow, anything we should prepare for besides good snow gear?
bring Sun screen and sunglasses! might seem counter intuitive but the sun can be intense when it reflects off of the snow!
I'd go to Luzern/Interlaken and maybe a day trip to Zermatt 🙂 Anyway, like Louis says, bring sunglasses, esp. if you go to the Jungfraujoch or you'll be totally miserable there if it's sunny.
What month was this video recorded?
I'm going in the middle of March, will there be a lot of snow?
This was recorded a few days before Christmas. You should have snow in mid March for sure, definitely at the mountain peaks
Do you have any recommendations for ski schools and/or ski locations for beginners? I myself am not a beginner but i've not skiid in 20 years, and my fiancée is the true beginner. We'll be staying in Interlaken itself.
There is a great ski school in Wengen that has a great set up, small slope etc all designed for beginners. www.skiwengen.ch/ - we show a little bit of it in the video
thanks for sharing. But How can I rent a sledge in wengen?
there are many different local shops that rent sledges, skis, etc. Intersport was the largest one we saw renting gear
Hi, I haven’t found the way how to go to the Jungfrau mountain ? Can anybody help this putz… 😀
