Who the hell told them that bright colors are only for young people? Adults wear bright colors too, you don't need to wear only neutral to look like a grown up woman.
I agree!! I have that same playsuit and im a year older than Emily, why do women have to stop wearing girly/pretty/colourful things before we're even 30?!
@danielleball3072 exactly!! It's not like she will look childish. She is not a fifty year old housewife in the old days who needed to be a conservative and neither a corporate businesswoman where dress codes can be more restricted. She is a young woman. Besides, all the ultra classic things are the ones she never wears and chooses to get rid of, like the massimo and sandro/maje stuff. All the things she loves are really girly or romantic style.
I’m surprised at how many dresses are reserved for vacation or holiday!! No need to categorize like that. You’re “allowed” to where it whenever!

Truly gorgeous things and LOVE seeing you both together... however, as someone who is 40 next year, it's so sad to see anything that isn't a neutral be described as 'too young' ...You are a creative Em! With a stunning figure and great taste! So, don't let 'rules' stop you having fun with your outfits! I hope that it doesn't end up influencing others and that people still feel that they can stick to their own styles. I love a classy neutral as much as the next girl but having personality in your clothes is so important- if it fits and you feel great- wear it! x (I may just be drunk from taking a shot every time you said 'fits like a glove' though 🤣😘 Much love 💞

I love the bright dresses and different textures, I'm not sure why you have to get rid of these items or only wear them on holiday? Embrace your own style, you don't have to dress in neutral classic pieces, that will all be out of style eventually anyway
I agreeeeeee!!! I’m stuck wearing black atm for the most part because my body image is rubbish atm, but my aim is to wear what makes me feel more myself and be creative - when I see people wearing quirky or fun outfits I think it’s amazing regardless of age! :) I just want to learn to be myself, not wear what is ‘in’ or socially acceptable
@@amandastarshine89 I know what you mean and get where Emily is coming from as it's sometimes easier to wear things that blend in. Just remember you will never see most of those people again in your life and if you love your outfit then who cares
@@k..................... totally - I think Emily looks beautiful and her outfits are so pretty, it’s more I hope she also can wear what she likes some of the time and not what she thinks is expected of her too because I think she’d rock whatever she wanted to wear! I’m going to be 35 next month and I think people think it’s old but it’s like when you’re here perspective shifts - I love a skater dress and oversized cardigans etc and if I wore what people thought I ought, I would feel so unlike myself. Thanks for your advice - I need to remember that 💙
@@amandastarshine89if you want to start with small bits of colour or a little thing that sticks out a little to show your self that it’s okay and then build up from there. I hope you get more confidence in your looks 🥰
Can I just say, although what clothes you choose to wear is absolutely nobody’s business but yours, you look stunning in Navy Blue, that’s if you’re replacing some of these pieces. ❤

so sad, you can wear what you want at any age...no such thing as something being too young, you can wear bright colours at any age. the patriarchy has conditioned women into thinking whehn they get older they need to not stand out, dont wear bright colours/draw attention and dont show skin (their reasons ' because the dont find older women attractive so therefor older women need to make themselves invisible. ) also
1. everyone likes different things and has different tastes, your cousin cant force you to like what she likes, and wear all beige.
2. be yourself, wear what you want, dont follow the flock, and follow the 'rules for women' which were made by men who see women as objects.
3. nothing wrong with looking ''old'' ... its a privelige to age, despite what men tell us.
4, you seem concerningly scared of looking ''frumpy''.

Closet clear outs not normally my fave but just had say how much enjoyed this, you 2 fab have lovely vibe (hate that word but can’t think another!) I am the tissue granny though😂🤧🤧
I love that you are proud to rewear things and like we even get to remember what clothes you have 😂but I much prefer it over influencers doing massive hauls from major retailers etc and they buy it only cause it's cheap and they don't even LOVE the pieces and rewear them that much. It seems they buy it cause "why not" but you have so much intention behind your style and shopping and I love that😊

Is she a fashion designer or a stylist? Every body’s style is different that’s what makes it part of your personality and someone else deciding it for you or judging your correct style is just so twisted according to me. I loved so many of the pieces you’ve discarded or what looked like you were forced to discard. Hope you don’t regret it is all I’m saying.

I feel like you have as many holiday pieces as everyday pieces haha💕 just one question: do you notice e.g. your skims shirts stretching out around the shoulder area when putting them on the hanger the way you do? i always fold mine to keep the shape but my wardrobe would look much tidier if everything was on hangers🙈

Your wardrobe is beautiful, but enormous. I hope your retirement account is equally as big. It is hard to watch women spend significant dollars on clothes they never wear, and have little to no savings. I am sure that the influencer $$$ are rolling in right now, but, you never know when that will end. I hope for your sake it lasts a very long time. I also hope you have set up your future for the next 50+ years, when youtube, tik tok and instagram might not be what they are today. I hope you have stashed away 6 months salary for an emergency fund, in addition to 20% or more of your income for your retirement, and you own outright the place where you are living. If one of these future proof strategies is not yet in place, I hope you will look into them. Best of luck!
Emily color is your best friend as you look phenomenal in your beautiful dresses. Don’t age yourself! I’m a great deal older than you but you need to KEEP the COLOR maybe just make sure what you choose matures WITH you. 😉💐🌹🌼🌸🌻🌺🪻🌷
