Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Watching Nigeria series makes me realize that we consume a LOT of tomatoes/peppers. It's literally in everything!
And oil😳
Don’t forget the spices too
For real
Nothing bad with oil. Do you have a lot of reumatic disease over there? Cause some people have stronger rheumatism after eating a lot of nightshade plants...?
Do you have a lot of people with diabetes or any other sicknesses we have in EU? Hart attack? Asthma?
I'm just curious because a lot has to do with foods you eat and lifestyle.
@@theyarnycaterpillar3563 I looked up diabetes and its 3% prevalence..that's lower than most countries in the west. But it depends on the country..Germany has 15% but france is 10%. We in Nigeria have very high incidence of heart attacks especially among women...one of the highest in the world, just below Lituania. I think a lot of people do not do health checks and that contributes to it. They do not know they are at risk of strokes etc...so they dont take medication to prevent complications. Asthma rates are usually very high in Europe compared to Africa. I am not sure why.
I love Lagos & never step foot on the soil!,,🇳🇬🇺🇸. I love to see my Brothers & Sisters in Africa. Literally melts my heart. We are one ♥️✊🏾. I love Egunsi & Pounded Yam . My Ex Nigerian Boyfriend is a great cook.
